As time went on into the next morning, Jude was still in labor as she was breathing through another contraction.

"How are we feeling?" Her nurse asked her.

"I want to give birth already." Jude said as Kit wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"Has her epidural wore off yet?" Lana asked

"Yes." Kit and Jude said at the same time.

"The doctor will be in with you shortly Mrs. Walker to check your dilation." The nurse said.

"I feel compressed." Jude said.

"You're beautiful baby." Kit said.

"I'm all hot and sweaty." Jude said.

"Won't be the first time." Kit said.

"Except, there's two tiny human beings coming out of me." Jude said.

"There's nothing better than seeing life come into this world." Kit said.

"You know? We never had any moments like other couples do." Jude said.

"Honey, we've had plenty of moments together." Kit said.

"No, like feeling them move around and taking a picture of you kissing my stomach." Jude said.

"Yes we did. I always lay my hands on your stomach, listening to us talk to them." Kit said.

"I'm ready to meet our babies." Jude said.

"And we will soon. We gotta get to ten centimeters." Kit said.

"I could think of something that's close to ten centimeters." Jude said.

"Is your head in the gutter?" Vivien asked her.

"It comes as being a former nun. Trust me, when it comes to him, I can't help myself." Jude said as she shrugged.

"That means she's had dreams about me in ways y'all will not understand."
Kit said as Jude smiled, feeling Josiah and Kennedy move around.

A little while later on

Jude was at six centimeters as Kit talked with her through the unbearable contractions that took her breath away or fed her ice chips to keep her from getting dehydrated. He was wiping her forehead as her whole face and hairline was soaked with sweat.

"It's stifling in here!" Jude said as Kit fanned her with the magazine next to him.

"Better?" Kit asked.

"Much." Jude said.

"Only four centimeters to go sweetheart and we'll meet our babies." Kit said.

"I know and I can't wait!" Jude said.

"Me either!'' Kit said.

"By the way, no pictures of my lady parts." Jude pointed to them all.

"I promise. I got Vivien to take pictures for us." Kit said.

"Yeah, I got that covered.'' Vivien said.

"Same thing goes for you too. No pictures of my lady parts." Jude said.

"You got it!" Vivien said as she smiled.

"Mhmm... These contractions are getting stronger and stronger." Jude said.

"You look better than I did when I was going to give birth to Violet." Vivien said.

"Dad said I looked like an alien." Violet said.

"You did, but you were so beautiful baby." Vivien said.

"Another thing that is bothering me is this catheter. Man, it's so uncomfortable!" Jude said.

"They do that so you won't trip and fall going to the bathroom." Vivien said.

"This feels worse than a condom." Jude said.

"Good to know baby." Kit said as Jude smiled.

...

More time passed as Jude was now seven centimeters dilated as she was so excited to almost hold her babies.

"Three more centimeters and I'm done!" Jude said as Kit rubbed her back and stomach.

"What if they decide to stay in longer?" Kit questioned as Jude gave him a glare.

"I wish you could be pregnant with them." Jude said.

"We only have three more to go." Kit said.

"It's hot and I got two babies who are kicking my internal insides." Jude said.

"I love you.'' Kit said as Jude smiled.

"I love you too baby." Jude said as Kit kissed her lips.

...

Kit was in the middle of rubbing a tennis ball up and down her back when their doctor walked into the room.

"God! Is there something else y'all can do to get me out of pain?" Jude asked.

"No, but let's take a look at your dilation." Their doctor said as he washed his hands and put gloves on.

Jude laid back and let the doctor measure her dilation as she felt another swift contraction.

"Am I almost there?" Jude asked as Kit tried to keep her calm. 

"No, you're still at a seven.'' Her doctor said as Jude wanted to have them now.

"This is going to take forever. I love being pregnant, but these pains are just unbearable." Jude said as Kit held her hand.

"I understand Mrs. Walker."

"Kit, I want these babies out of me!" Jude cried out.

"I know baby, but we're almost there." Kit said.

"Our children are so getting the sex talk early in life." Jude said.

"Honey, kids don't understand the talk of sex." Kit said.

"They will when their teenagers." Jude said.

"I wonder what they put in your IV." Vivien said.

"I kind of like the way the epidural is still working." Jude said.

"Wait till you start actually giving birth." Vivien said.

"Don't you have a date tomorrow?" Jude asked her.

"Haha no." Vivien said.

"What happened between you and that cutie police detective?" Jude asked her.

"Nothing, I just told him that I'm not ready to date right at this moment." Vivien said.

"You need a man like Kit." Pepper said.

"Yeah, wait till he folds your laundry." Jane said.

"I do fine at folding laundry." Kit said.

Everyone started laughing as Jude started getting another intense contraction.

...

"Jude, how are we feeling?" Roy asked as Jude smiled.

"Tired and my babies are taking forever to get here." Jude said.

"Just breathe." Roy said.

"Great idea asshole! How about you stop!" Jude retorted

"Kit, your wife is being mean again." Roy said.

"She can't help it." Kit said.

"These Walker babies take forever, don't they?" Roy asked her.

"I've been in labor for a long time now and you're worried about me being mean." Jude said.

"She's been meaner." Kit said.

"That'll be ten licks for each of you." Jude said.

"You're sexy when you're sarcastic." Kit said

"Enjoy my body while you still can because after our children are born. I'll look awful!" Jude said.

"No, pregnancy is beautiful on you." Kit said.

"And after?" Jude asked.

"You'll always be beautiful baby." Kit said as he kissed her forehead.

"What can we do to hurry them along?" Jude asked him.

"Too bad we can't have sex." Kit said.

"That's not a terrible idea." Jude said.

"We're still here." Pepper said.

"Sorry sweetheart. My hormones are bouncing off the walls still." Jude said.

"What if we take a walk to hurry the labor process along?" Vivien questioned

"Okay." Jude said.

...

With the doctor's consent, they let the three adults walk around the maternity floor, stopping every now and then to let Jude breathe through contractions as she felt the babies drop lower in her abdomen.

"The babies are lower that they usually are." Jude said as she held onto him.

"What does that mean?" Kit panicked as he held her hand and caressed her back.

"Get ready to be a daddy!" Jude screamed as a body wringing contraction pulsated through her uterus.

...

Jude was back in her room and in her bed as the doctor confirmed she was now nine centimeters dilated.

"One more Mrs. Walker and you'll be able to push your beautiful babies out." Her doctor said as Jude never heard something sound so good.

"One more babies! C'mon, just come on out. Please?" Jude said as she felt her uterus tighten.

"Maybe we'll call our experience time after time." Kit said.

"I like that!" Jude said.

"Are you ready Mrs. Walker?" Kit asked her.

"Always Mr. Walker!" Jude said as they smiled and he kissed her.
