It had been two weeks since Kit, Jude and Pepper left Briarcliff and they settled in comfortably as they fixed up their house and painted every room in the house the way they wanted to and they were just happy living their life to the fullest.

Kit and Jude were taking everything slowly as they were not a couple yet, but they did have dinner once a week together, because Pepper had a new friend she went with to the movies on Friday or Saturday nights as she finally felt accepted as a person and Jude was so happy to know she was.

Tonight was Friday night and Pepper was out with her friend as Jude was standing in the kitchen, cutting up vegetables for hers and Kit was about to be home soon as he went back to work to the gas station he worked for before being wrongfully convicted of the murders of twenty something women, including Lana's ex lover Wendy as Jude hated for the way they thought this sweet man was convicted as she thought different, but finally Dr. Threadson was the one who was the mass murderer in all of them.

Jude was listening to 'La Vie En Rose' by Edith Piaf was playing in the background as Jude was making sure the chicken was almost done and hopefully not burnt. She wanted everything to be perfect for Kit when he got home as she made sure the table was set as she finished the salad and mashed potatoes with the green beans and rolls.

Kit walked in as he smelled one of his favorite dinners him or Jude cooked for each other as he walked in the kitchen very slowly to rest his hands on Jude's hips as she jumped.

"Kit, I told you a hundred times. Don't sneak up behind me like that." Jude said as he kissed her neck.

"Well, I'm not going to stop, now or ever." Kit said as Jude gave him a glare.

"If you would have done that at Briarcliff, which you would not. I would have to bend you over my desk." Jude said as Kit smirked at her.

"Feeling naughty sister?" Kit asked her.

"No, plus we have not made love and we are not even together yet, but some people would disagree with the way you act here in front of our friends and Pepper." Jude said as Kit moved Jude's blonde Hollywood curls to the side as he pressed his lips to her neck as Jude had to grab onto the over handle to balance herself.

"When can we start?" Kit whispered as he asked in her ear.

"When we get married." Jude joked as she wondered how long it would be until she was ready to fully trust someone again or a man, besides she knew Kit would not want her just for sex or to use her in the way other men did.

"That's fine, but there for a moment I thought you would be ready." Kit said as he sat down at the other side of the island.

"I don't won't you think I'm using you for sex or anything materialistic." Jude said as Kit walked back over to her.

"Baby, if we have sex, I would be a very happy man. Plus, I would like to have your beautiful face to wake up to in the morning. You're and angel Jude." Kit said as slid his arms and hands down Jude's backside.

"You just called me 'baby'." Jude said as she looked at him.

"Yeah, because you are my baby." Kit said as she laid her head in his shoulder.

"I've never been called baby by a man who actually loved me, I was just used for sex and whatever else a prostitute and a drunk like me was for." Jude said as Kit cupped her face.

"I'm not going to do that to you Jude, just seeing you happy and healthy makes me feel good." Kit said as she smiled and Kit hugged her as she started crying into his shoulder.

"I don't deserve you Kit Walker, you need someone who makes you feel better than me. I can't give you everything you dream of." Jude said

"Jude, you have given me everything I've always wanted." Kit said as he held her hands and the timer went off for the chicken as Jude rushed over to get it out of the oven.

"By the way, it's just you and me for a while. Pepper went out with Jane, so we have the house to ourselves." Jude said as she started cutting the chicken and plating it.

"I'm glad she has a friend now, I worried people would turn her away and that would make me mad knowing that someone would not be friends with someone as sweet as her." Kit said as Jude was right there with him.

"I was worried too, but Jane takes good care of our girl when their out together, so she's good." Jude said as she brought their plates over as she sat down.

"It looks delicious babe." Kit said as he kissed her cheek as she smiled.

"Kit, can I ask you something?" Jude questioned as he looked at her.

"Of course, anything troubling your mind sweetheart?" Kit asked her.

"Yes, but my question is, what are you looking for in a woman, whom you plan on marrying one day and what about your future?" Jude questioned again as Kit looked into her hazel eyes.

"You babe. I want you and only you. I want a couple of babies, maybe a houseful of them. I just want us to be happy after the he'll we went through at that snake pit. I want you, me, Pepper and a couple of babies, plus I thought about owning my own gas station." Kit said as Jude smiled as she kissed him, but this time, on the lips as she straddled him as she started kissing his neck as Kit began to unbutton her blouse as he went inside her bra and rub her nipples in between his index finger and thumb as she moaned as she knew they had to stop.

"Kit stop." Jude said as he looked confused.

"Did I do something wrong?" Kit asked as he cursed himself.

"No, no. I just know that if went take this any further, that we might regret it." Jude said as he now understood what she was saying.

"Would this be a bad time to ask you something?" Kit asked

"Depends on what you want to ask me." Jude said as she was afraid of what he was going to ask her.

"I know it's only been two weeks since we left Briarcliff and I have to say that I have had a crush on you since the third time I met you, besides that you caned me that one time, but either way, I wanted you to know that I will love you, no matter what you did in your past, because I'm not perfect and neither are you, but your perfect in my world and you have a beautiful heart and the biggest personality I have ever seen. I'm asking you to give us, me and you, a chance to a beautiful future together. Will you be the love of my life and will you be girlfriend?" Kit asked her as he presented her with a promise ring as she hugged him and smiled. 

"Yes, yes, yes. I will be the love of your life and yes, I will be your girlfriend and sorry for caning you, I had to do my job, but I won't do it again." Jude said as Kit picked up the ring and slid it on her finger as he kissed her.

"To our perfect beginning and beautiful life together." Kit said as he raised his glass of water with her too.

They ate the rest of their dinner, cleaned the kitchen up, washed dishes and went upstairs to shower and go to bed as they both lied in their own beds as they thought about their future together.

Pepper came into the house to see that the lamp in the living room was on as she knew Kit and Jude were already in bed as she walked upstairs to her room and changed as she crawled underneath her comforter and drifted off to sleep.
