Eliza looked over her last post one more tune before setting her phone down. She wanted to enjoy her last night in New York, her favorite city in the world. She'd always loved how the city was so alive and that always her feel more alive herself. But soon she would be leaving, only for good reason of course. It was help with the campaign trail of Mr. George Washington. He was an old family friend, a smart man, incredible politician, not to mention he was better than the other guy (Thomas Jefferson).
Eliza detested that man, and truly believed the American people would do what's right. From what's she's seen in her life when it matters they usually do. She just hoped this year would be the same. But just to make sure she going along for the ride, while her sisters helped in the city of New York, Eliza would travel the country to ensure him president.
"Eliza!" Exclaimed a voice that snapped her out of her thoughts.
"Huh?" She questioned looking over to see Angelica looking at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I asked if you wanted to go home yet." Angelica repeated, to which Eliza shook her head.
"No, this my last night in NYC! I am not going to waste it!" She exclaimed as she stood up. "Now who wants another round?" She asked with a smile on her face.
Angelica gave her a skeptical look, like she wasn't sure that was the weirdest thing she'd ever heard Eliza say.
"Oh come on sis I've only had one beer, and it was half of one because Peggy drank the other half." Eliza reasoned with her, though that wasn't necessarily the whole truth.
Eliza wasn't too found of how she never told her sisters the whole truth. Like how she said she only had a beer but in reality she got here early and had already had two glasses of wine before that, but she was incognito. Eliza though was woefully aware of how easily gossip spread in New York and if she told anyone anything she did that (even her dear sisters), soon enough the front page would be going on about how irresponsible she was or some other bullshit like that. Eliza didn't have time to deal with that so she had to lie about that part if her life, that's how she saw at least.
"Alright, alright, you're right." Angelica said with a small smile. "Get me one of those hard lemonades."
"Alright, Peggy?" She asked looking over at her younger sister.
"I'll have a Manhattan." She said with a smile.
"Cool, I'll be right back." She said before walking over to the bar leaning on the counter. She waved down the bartender, who acknowledged her going to the customer who was there before her.
"I'll have a Guinness please." Said the man next to her who glanced over at her. "And whatever she's having."
Eliza looked over that this man, looking over him before turning to the bar tender. "A Coors, Hard lemonade and a Manhattan." She said, the bar tender nodded and left to get the drinks.
"Well you really don't skip out on opportunities, do you?" He question looking at her with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.
"I was coming up here to get another round for me and my sisters but you were so generous with your offer, how could I say no?" She replied looking back, if she was being honest he was very attractive. Strong jaw, stubble and his eyes were beautiful.
"Well I see your point, maybe I should've checked if you were alone or not first."
"It was an honest mistake." Eliza told him with a small smile, to which he nodded.
"Is it possible you could get away from your sisters?"
"How about this, when my sisters leave, if your still here, maybe you can buy me another drink." She proposed.
"Oh you're so kind to let me buy you alcohol."
"Oh, I know." She replied jokingly, feeling something like butterflies in her stomach.
"Well, could this-" he started but Eliza cut him off.
"Maybe." She told him. "So, what do you say?" She asked him.
"I'll see you later." He replied taking his beer as the bar tender set it down, replacing it with a bill and left.
Eliza couldn't help but chuckle to herself. 'Oh how smooth.' She thought, shaking that thought from her head she picked up the two bottles items in her left hand, and the cocktail in her right, making her way back to her sisters.
"You made it back." Angelica said as she saw her sister come into view.
"Yup." Eliza said setting down her sisters drinks, then took a drink of hers.

After a few hours of talking, drinking, and eating, lots and lots of eating happened. Eliza loved spending time with her sisters but part of her this whole time had been wanting to hurry them up so she can ups talk to the handsome stranger she'd just met. Of course she wasn't expecting anything out of it really except maybe a one night stand, unless she really liked him. In that case she would get his number and they would go on a proper date.
"Well I'm going to head home." Angelica announced and Eliza almost let a sigh of relief. Luckily she held it back. "You girls want to split a cab?" Angelica asked.
"No, I'm going to stay a bit longer." Eliza told Angelica.
"You sure?" Angelica asked.
"Yeah, I'm still hungry." Eliza told her and Angelica nodded slowly before looking to Peggy.
"Split a cab peg?" She asked asked and Peggy nodded.
"Yup." She said as she stood up, putting her purse over her shoulder. "You'll be alright liz?" She asked to which election said nodded.
"Yeah I'll be fine, I can handle myself." She told them both.
"Alright, love you, see you later." Angelica told Eliza.
"Love you both, bye." She said to them.
"Love you, bye." Peggy said and the two Schuyler sisters proceeded to leave the bar, leaving Eliza alone at their table.
Though it didn't take long for another person to join her at the table. Eliza looked over to see the man from the bar earlier. She couldn't help but chuckle a bit, he had an adorable look on his face.
"Well hello there." She greeted, a smile forming on her lips.
"Hey, I missed you."
"Missed me? You don't even know who I am."
"I missed your eyes, they're so pretty." He replied to her, causing her to blush a bit.
"So are you going to buy me a drink or what?" She asked him.
"I would absolutely love to." He replied with a large smile.
