I crawled out of bed this morning feeling sick and tired. I didn't want to go to school at all but I had to. I laid my head back on my soft pillow right when Justin poked his head into the doorway of my room.

"You ready yet?" Justin asked. I didn't answer but I just let him scan the room and figure it out  him self. "Come on, we're gonna be late!" Justin said as he picked up my gray pillow with tassels on the sides and threw it at me. 

"Ok, Ok" I said. I sat up and walked over to my large mirror standing in the corner of my room. I grabbed my black brush and began quickly brushing through my curly mess of hair. I threw my brush on the ground and walked slowly toward my messy bathroom. I spread mint toothpaste on my toothbrush and slipped it into the corner of my mouth. I then rubbed my fingers through my freshly washed brown hair. I rinsed my mouth and left the bathroom. I sat on my bed and pulled up some black joggers and tied it with a white drawstring. I bent down and scrapped up my favorite gray hoodie that has the word 'OBEY' in red on the front. I then tied on my red vans. I then placed a gray beanie to tie the look together. 

Jonah had been stylishly dressed in a grey 'obey' shirt, black sweats and red converse with a grey beanie to top it all off.

I ran out of my room and into the kitchen where Justin was waiting for me. "Finally you took forever," Justin said.  "Lilly should be here any minute, she's picking us up."

"Oh, OK." I said.  

"I think she's bringing Gavin too," my mom shot me googly eyes from across the table. 

"No mom, he's dating Lily" She shot a disapproving face at me and I couldn't help but laugh. 

"She's here, come on Jonah".

Me and Justin rushed out the door and into Lilly's car. Lilly immediately turns around and gives both of us a weird look.

"I can't tell which one is Jonah" Lilly said.

 Then before I can answer, Gavin turns around points to me and says "That's Jonah".

Then Lily turns around and looks at me. 

"He's right," I said. "I'm Jonah". I'm actually very surprised by the fact that Gavin could point me out even if my own best friend couldn't. That has to mean he has been watching me-- Right? 

Lily pulls her car into a front parking space right next to the school entrance. All four of us exit the small doors of her black Honda. We were immediately joined by Gavin's best friend, Noah. Lily greets Noah with a big hug. Which was weird to me because Lily only gives hugs to people that she really likes or cares about. I shrugged it off and walked into the school. 

The day went on as normal and I could tell that Gavin and Lily were trying their hardest not to make me feel uncomfortable. After school got out I was starving and all five of us agreed that we would go to In-N-Out. We all squeezed into Lily's tiny car and took off towards 'In-N-Out'. Once we pulled up in a front row parking space, I was the first one to jump out with excitement. I've been to this place so many times before but every time I go I always get excited. I practically ran up to the cashier and spit out my order. I got a hamburger with tomatoes on it, a large fry, and a small strawberry milkshake. Gavin, Justin, Noah, and Lily opened the doors and appeared behind me while I ordered. Lily just got a plain cheeseburger with a root beer, Noah and Gavin both got the same order which was a double-double and a small chocolate milkshake, and Justin got a cheeseburger with lettuce and onions on it , he also got a small vanilla milkshake and 3 fries to share among the four of them. I pulled out two 20 dollar bills and before I could hand them to the cashier Lily put her hand in front of mine and paid for all the food. We all thanked her and took a seat at a nearby booth.  

Lily got up to go to the soda machine to fill her cup up with root beer, and Noah went to go get a couple ketchup packets and some salt packets. Justin also joined Lily to go get the soda. So that left me and Gavin sitting in an awkward silence.

"How have you been?" Gavin asked me in a normal tone as if we've been friends for years.

"Good...," I said not really sure how I should respond. By this time Lily had rounded the table and took a seat next to Gavin. Gavin then placed his hands together and placed them in front of him on the table. Then Noah and Justin rounded the opposite sides of the booth. Justin took a seat next to me and Noah pulled up a chair and sat at the end of the table. Gavin kept staring at me the entire time we were there which made me feel a little weirded out. We all sat there eating our food and having a great memorable time.
