Sorry that I have not updated in a while. It's been pretty hectic with summer and all. Any way thanks for reading!

Lily swung her leg over the lunch table bench and now has her torso facing me. Lily has always been a pretty fast eater. So, it generally came down to everyone watching me eat.
"Gavin and I had our first date in August of last year." Lily said. "We had it on a Saturday. I came to school the following Monday and I was going to tell you all about it but, you mentioned your crush on him. I never wanted to hurt your feelings so I just never told you. I should have told you sooner but I was really happy for the first time in a while and I just wanted to keep things the way they were for a little bit. I'm really sorry and I feel terrible."
I honestly didn't know whether to cry or smile. It seems a little weird that I wanted to smile at a time like this but I did. But what I did next surprised me. I opened my arms and leaned in to give Lily a big bear hug. I felt a tear fall down onto her favorite tan sweatshirt. I loosened my grip on her back and we fell out of the hug. I began chuckling a bit while I was smiling and crying.
"You are dating him?" I asked as two more tears fell down my cheek. I smiled again and wiped my nose. "I'm really happy for you" I said. The truth is I am actually really happy for Lily. In some way what she just said made me feel bad about the way I have acting.
"Well, Lily I wish you would have told me so I could stop drooling over your boyfriend." I said while laughing. This moment felt good. I needed a moment like this, like old times. Lately we haven't really seen each other much and with this fight that we had didn't really help. It felt like we have been quite distant.
I got up and placed my tray on a rack above the garbage. When I came back Justin and Lily were talking away. I gestured my hand toward the exit and we all left the Cafeteria. Lily said that she had to grab a few books before heading to our next class. Me and Justin followed her through a couple hallways before we came to her small white locker. She opened the locker with two twists to the left and right. I took out my phone from my back pocket and opened up Instagram.
*The sound of a hand hitting the locker very hard* I jumped and looked to the right. Gavin was standing there with his right arm leaned up against the locker and his body facing Lily. His two best friends were some distance behind him.
"Oh my god you scared me!" Lily said while smiling and looking up into Gavin's eyes. "Guess what babe! I finally told Jonah about our relationship."
"Oh thats great." Gavin said while giving Lily and quick smile. "Ok well I gotta go get to class." He gave Lily a quick peck on the cheek and turned quickly to catchup with his friends. Justin and Lily turned the other way and began walking to class.
"Oh hey Lily you forgot to close your lock-, nevermind I 'll close it." I said. I reached my hand out and shut the locker door and gave one last quick look toward Gavin. To my surprise he was staring right back at me. He gave me one of the biggest grins and winked at me. I turned around and walked very quickly toward Lily and Justin. I followed a little behind them and couldn't help myself from smiling and blushing a little bit. Was he looking at me? I went to class being as confused as ever.
