"No!" Gavin hissed. "Not happening no way" 

Just then my butt starting vibrating. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my Phone. My hands were slippery and I dropped my phone face down onto the moist floor of the school's hallway. I dropped to the ground and received my phone without hesitation. I flipped my phone over to find no cracks. 

"Ugh" I mumbled. I placed the phone next to my ear. It was Lily. "Can I help you?" I said into the phone. I dragged out the word "you" extra long and dramatic. I also added a very rude tone to my voice. Lily proceed to ask me if we wanted to meet at Cold-Stone for ice-cream and talk. Pretending not to notice my rude tone. "I guess...." I said making it seem like it was such an annoyance to talk to her. I pulled the phone away from my ear and ended the call. 

"I'm going to guess that was Lily"

"Yea" I rolled my eyes and walked by him bumping him a little with my shoulder. I wasn't mad at him it's just that I was in one of my 'moods'. I really want Gavin to fall in love with me but I decided that pushing it on him won't do either of us very good. I went into the cafeteria and picked a small circular table in the way back. The table seats four and me and Lily would usually sit here for lunch everyday. I pulled out my phone and texted Justin. 'Hey, I'm at the cafeteria in the back.' I typed. Just as I hit the send button someone was standing in front of me.

"..."

"Can I sit here?" While asking this Lily made an effort to sit down next to me anyway.  I shrugged my shoulders and looked back down at my phone. Justin had replied with 'Ok, be right there'. I clicked my phone off and laid it face down on the lunch table. Two other kids sat down at our table. They both had dark brown hair and light skin. 

"Do you mind?" I said. "These seats are saved." They both got up and moved to the table behind them. I placed my purse and sweater in their places so that no body could sit there. 

"Hey?" Justin said confused. I got up from the table and flew to Justin's side. I hooked my arm into Justin's and turned to look at Lily.

"Save our spots please" I said. I guided Justin to the lunch line.

"So you guys good again?" Justin asked with concerning eyes. 

"I don't know she just sat down. It was pretty awkward." I said. We grabbed our lunch trays and paid. I got a piece of cheese pizza, fruit cup, and chocolate milk.  When I got back to my lunch table Lily was there ready to pamper me. She grabbed my lunch tray and put it on the table. Justin stuck his fork in his salad, Lily sipped her apple juice, and I ate a piece of fruit.

We sat in silence eating for the last minute.
