I continued to walk down the hall as Justin was catching up to me now. 

"Why so fast?" Justin asked running out of breath. 

          "I want to get out of here, I saw Lily and I don't want her to follow me," I said walking faster. Since I couldn't leave school, I ducked into Mrs. Johnson's class and sat down. Luckily I was able to scramble an excuse as to why I was there early. I said that I didn't understand our homework for last night. She always has told the class that if we didn't get the lesson, that we could stop by her class in the morning. I slumped into a second-row seat. She began her un-planned math lesson. I laid my head on the desk that was behind me and I lifted up my feet to the chair of the desk in front of me. My feet were kicked up and my head was leaned back. We were already 10 seconds into the lesson and I was seriously bored.

           Finally, the first bell rang and I practically leaped out of my chair. I got up all too fast and Mrs. Johnson gave me a warning look.  I have to stay in this class for the first period anyway so I wanted to get a snack before I got locked into this class for another hour. I exited the closed brown door. I felt a pull on my sweatshirt. Justin pulled my sweater and dragged me closer to him. 

"Where were you!" Justin said being very demanding. 

"I was getting some pointers on last nights math," I said. He gave me a disapproving look. 

"Anyway, Lily came up to me thinking I was you." Justin said, "She went on and on about how sorry she was until I finally told her that I wasn't you, she wanted me to tell you that she was sorry and that she wanted you to text her." 

I didn't really want to talk to her but I did have some questions. Like why she did it, and how long it has been going on for. I made the long walk to the nearest vending machine. I got a pack of pink bubblegum and some red vines. I made it back to class just in time for the first period to start. 

First, second, and the third period were as boring as ever. Today would usually be one of those days where I would walk around and mope, but since I have Justin with me I felt like it would be rude if I were to do that. 

"Hey!" Someone out of breath and tired yelled from behind me. The voice sounded familiar but I couldn't put a face on the voice. I turned around to greet the person that was talking to me. Gavin! I thought. I was confused because I didn't think that Gavin would want to talk to me after that "incident" at In n' Out.  I just started at him with a blank expression on my face.

"Uh, Hi" I stammered. Looking down at my tight fitted dark jeans while playing with my thumbs.

"Look, after you ran off in In'N'out I got this feeling that something weird was happening. I asked Lily and she told me everything. She told me about how you liked me and your background history about your dad and all." Gavin then reached out touched my hands that were being held together and he held them in his hands. It was a warm and gentle touch. He then looked at me and offered his condolences. "I am attracted to women, as you know.." I cut him off there. 

"One week" 

"What?"

"Give me one week to make you fall in love with me"
