*EMBERLY'S POV*

They say that there are certain days in your life that you never forget. 

They are defining times. 

They are joyous.

They are agonizing.

The point is, there are days we will always remember for the rest of our lives. Days that are turning points in our lives.

For me, today is that day. 

I slip my satin ballet flats on, then straighten and stare at myself in the mirror.  My dark hair is twisted into an intricate knot at the base of my hairline. A couple of whisps have escaped and frame my face. I have on makeup that makes me look like a model. 

My dress is long and billowing while managing to maintain my waist. The detailed lace slithers down my arms, creating the perfect sleeves. The front dips into a deep V-neck. I let out a shaky breath. 

          "You look amazing." CC appears behind me. I let out a quivering laugh. 

          "I can't believe this is happening. I don't think I can do this." I start to panic. CC gently pulls me into a side hug, joining me as I stare into the mirror.  

           "Em, you look amazing. All that matters now is Andy. Just think about him."  He gently directs me out of the farm style house. I can see the rows of chairs and their occupants. Beyond them is the love of my life. I can tell by his stance he's nervous. 

Mer appears and hands me a large bouquet of green, dusty pink, and crimson flowers. I can feel my engagement ring on my finger, a unique and beautiful weight. 

Suddenly, "Love Me Now" by John Legend begins playing. Mer dutifully and gracefully dances down the aisle before me. All eyes are now locked on CC and I. 

I am only focused on Andy. 

He is gorgeous in his suspenders and white button down. His black pants wave lightly in the breeze. The fall colors surrounding us are intense and a stark contrast to the pale blue sky. The crisp November air tickles my face, but I don't notice. I'm only focused on getting to my love.

CC escorts me down the aisle and kisses my forehead gently as I take my place. Andy and I found a secular ceremony online and Jake is officiating. Dr. Purdy and Jinxx stand behind Andy, as CC and Mer do for me. I meet those perfect blue eyes and melt. 

Jake begins the ceremony and I take Andy's hands in mine, ready for forever. 

            "I love you." I whisper to him as Jake speaks.

            "I love you more." Andy promises. 

Like I said, some days define us. They are a turning point in our lives. 

Today is the day my life changes. 

Today is the day things start to get better. 

Today is the day I marry the love of my life and my best friend.
