PART 19 | Drunk Riddhima
Ishani's wedding took place successfully. It was time to remove all the decorations and clean up stuff, which was being taken care of, by Devraj Singh Rathore.
"Riddhima will be mine at any cost..." Kabir told Anupriya
"And I support you for this...my son..."
Anupriya had married Vansh's father just for Kabir's sake, but things did not happen as expected. Vansh had taken over the business after his dad's death and was very successful. She had thought that after his death, things would come into her own hands, but Vansh spoiled everything. Her real son's wishes never came true. Now that his eyes had fallen on Riddhima, she would go to any extent to get her for the sake of her son. Separating Vansh and Riddhima would not be a big barrier for her. She would go to any extent to get things right for her son.
"This is very strong...I'm sure she'll lose her consciousness..." Anupriya said as she spiked the drink Vansh had kept for Riddhima
"If Vansh comes to know that Riddhima is having an illicit affair...then their relationship will be crushed into pieces...just one video proof would be enough..."
Kabir smiled slyly "She'll be mine after that..."
Nothing could match the wickedness of the mother and son duo . By hook or by crook, they always wished to get what they wanted. Anupriya was even ready to disrespect and defame a woman.

"You've not eaten since morning...here, have this..." Vansh handed over a glass of juice to Riddhima
Riddhima frowned, but the butterflies in her stomach overpowered her resistance to Vansh's offer. Her stubbornness had to lose in front of her hunger. She hadn't eaten since morning and was surprised that Vansh knew it. She silently took the glass of juice and within a second, gulped it down in a draught. She began to feel a little dizzy and shook her head like a baby.
"It's time for you to sleep...." Vansh said and tucked her to bed
Riddhima closed her eyes and pretended to sleep. As Vansh walked out, she sat up.
"Ste....ww....pid...boy...he..hee.." Riddhima closed her mouth chuckling
She sat there waiting that he would come. But there was no sign of him.
She stumbled out of the room and searched for him everywhere
"Vansh?...Are you angry with...me?" She lifted her brows and pouted
Though Vansh was not there in front of her, she was imagining him. She narrowed her eyes and shook her head.
"No...Vansh?...I'm sorry..." she searched and stumbled on Mr.Devraj Singh Rathore.
"Have you seen Vansh?..." Riddhima asked cutely biting her lips
Kabir's blood was boiling with anger. Riddhima was only his, he thought.
"Yes....I know where he is..." Devraj smiled slyly.
"Where..." she curved her lips and frowned like a kid
"Come with me..." he said as he took her out of the house, to a lonely place, near to the VR mansion.
"You don't look like a old man..." Riddhima looked at him carefully
Before Kabir could do anything, Riddhima's hair clip had detected her location and Vansh came to know that she was moving around.
"Riddhima!!" Vansh muttered as his detector showed signals.
"Shh...listen to me,Riddhima...just one photo..." Kabir came towards her
"Stay away..." she pushed and fell on the dried grass behind, unable to understand what was happening. It was a small warehouse, where things were stored. Kabir had fixed a camera outside in case no one entered in. But he was lucky enough to see Vansh coming in and escaped from the other side, thus, miserably failing in his plan.
"Riddhima! What are you doing here?" Vansh shouted as he barged into the dark room
"I was searching for you..." she scratched her head
"At this hour?...And that too here?"
Vansh's patience level was being tested day by day. The volcanic eruption would not be very far if that continued.
"No...he brought me here..." Riddhima pouted
Vansh realized that Riddhima was drunk. His muscles and jaw stiffened as he came to know that someone had tricked his wife to go there and that too in a drunken state. He scanned her hands and the finger marks on her soft skin indicated that someone had forced her to go with him. His rage was equal to that of a hundred thousand litres of hot lava put together.
"Riddhima tell me who was it?..." Vansh genttly tapped her cheeks
Riddhima remained silent. She didn't know who it was. In fact, she did not remember.
"Ummm..." she smiled and bit her lips again
Vansh was angry at himself for leaving the room. He had no idea that the drink had been spiked. Which meant someone inside the house had done this act.
There was a coldness in his eyes that would make even a roaring lion nervous. Vansh had determined to hunt the traitor down and show him how hell looked like. The only outsider was Devraj Singh Rathore and the old man had already been noticing his wife, as far as he knew. That's why Vansh had allowed Riddhima to go out, to keep her away from that jerk and at the same time, keep a track of her.
Devraj's intentions seemed clear. His frequent glances on Riddhima did not go unnoticed by him. He did not take any action against him as his wife did not notice anything weird and she was busy in spying to get nothing as the result. Any discomfort caused to her, that jerk would make a deal with his own life, begging it to be spared in return of not eyeing any woman in his life. Vansh remained silent. But Devraj had crossed all the limits.
"That old moron..."
Riddhima looked at him with narrowed eyes and a pout. She pulled him back and began scanning his face.
"What?" he glared at her
"Did you eat anything?" she asked, with a little bit of worried expression on her face
Vansh rolled his eyes, unable to ignore her question, and at the same time irritated at the situation.
"No.." he said crossing over his hands
"I've made meethi bhaat for you..."
Vansh was surprised. He never thought Riddhima would do this for him. As the number of misunderstandings increased in her mind day by day, he thought it would be difficult for her to behave like a normal human being in front of him. Well, she was never a normal human from the first day he met her. She would either be a beautiful angel, or an accusing maleficent, who was ever ready to snatch his peace away. But that would work too, only if it was her or for her. All was fair in case of Riddhima.
Vansh narrowed his eyes and smirked,
"I hope you have not added poison in it..."
The drunk Riddhima smiled,
"I thought of adding poison, but I didn't want you to die so easily, I wanted to torture you to death..."
Vansh raised his eyebrows, "Fair enough..." he uttered as he was trying to balance his wife on one hand and the tray of sweetened rice on the other. Riddhima's comebacks were getting wittier day by day. She learnt the art of talking with The Vansh RaiSinghania, even in drunken state.
"I thought you were....not that smart...but I was wrong...." Riddhima confessed and sat in front of him.
"Why?..." Vansh chuckled
"I sneaked out of the mansion!!..." she exclaimed proudly
Vansh was silently eating his bowl of meethi bhaat, as Riddhima continued chirping,
"I thought you were dumb and that you were just a big talker...but I was wrong..." Riddhima cried and pulled out her hairpin.
"You were keeping..." Riddhima hiccuped
"a....track....of me..." she chuckled and continued
"not bad...VR..." she took a deep breath and left it out.
Riddhima's senses were working better when she was drunk. Vansh shook his head in appreciation. His eyes traveled over the hall and his anger eruptions was about to resurface as he saw Devraj.
"I hate betrayers...I would want them to end themselves before they even think of betraying me..." He said looking at Devraj who was a long distance away.
Riddhima felt offended at this.
"You know what, end yourself even before you think I would betray you..." she frowned like a kid, but the seriousness in her tone shook Vansh.
"I'm leaving..." she stood up offended
"I wasn't talking to you, Riddhima..." Vansh tried to explain, but Riddhima ran off to the pool side.
Drunk Riddhima was far more dangerous than her true self. Vansh went behind her. She mischievously looked at him and splashed some water on his face from the pool. Vansh stepped back. His expression turned serious
"You've done a big mistake by poking fun at me...don't you know, that I don't keep any favour...I believe in tit for tat...now you won't be spared..." Vansh said removing his velvet coat.
"Really?..." Riddhima inched closer, instead of being scared of Vansh's water attack. Before he could do anything, she suddenly pecked his cheek. And ran away chuckling.
"Now you cannot do tit for tat Mr.Raisinghania...you are a true gentleman...and The Vansh Raisinghania does not go back on his word..."
Riddhima's change of behavior towards Vansh surprised him. Something had changed her point of view on Vansh. But what was it?
