{LEVY'S POV}
I wake up tucked into Gajeel's chest, with his arms wrapped around me, him snoring in my ears. I'm incredibly embarrassed, until I remember that I'm a cat. This is nothing more than a person cuddling with their pet.

Sighing, I wiggle out of his grasp and stretch, flexing my claws against his blanket.

"You up, Mini?" Gajeel's voice is laden with sleep. The weight on the bed shifts a little.

I spin around to hiss at him once again for the name, but it dies in my throat. Apparently, Gajeel Redfox sleeps in the nude.

Oh Mavis. I get a heaping helping of... I quickly turn my head away, but it's already burned into my memory. Every detail.

Maybe being a cat isn't half bad.

"What are you smiling about?" Lu-chan asks when Gajeel and I arrive at the guild hall.

"I'm not smiling." I deny.

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not."

"You totally are!" Lu-chan smirks.

"What are we, three years old?" I make sure hide my face after that.

Then Gray walks in the guild and I resist the urge to facepaw. Juvia is curled up on Gray's head like a living blue fur hat.

"What's with this cat? She's so clingy, and I swear she was ogling me in the shower." Gray complains, trying to shake her off, but Juvia uses her claws to stay put and he winces.

"Juvia..." Lu-chan shakes her head in exasperation. "What are we going to do with you?"

Meanwhile, Natsu and Gray have already gotten into one of their usual name calling fights.

"Flame Brain!"

"Popsicle!"

"Pyro!"

"Stripper!" They continue to throw punches at each other, eventually getting the whole guild wrapped up in it. Chaos ensues.

Then Natsu unleashes a massive fire dragon's roar at Gray, who dodges. The guild hall isn't so lucky, and wood starts to burn.

"Great job idiot, now look what you've done!" Gray gets up in Natsu's face, who leans in so they're touching foreheads. They glare at each other until Erza bonks them both on the head.

"Focus! You made this fire, so put it out!" She yells. The flames are getting worse.

Gray runs forward, but Juvia jumps in front of him. "Juvia can put this out, piece of cake! Just you watch, Gray-sama!"

He gasps. "Ame no!"

"Juvia you're a cat! You can't use magic!" I warn.

"Water slicer!" Juvia opens her mouth and, behold, a blade of water shoots out of it, much to the astonishment of everyone, both human and feline, in the guild.

The blade of water hits the fire and puts it out easily, but it's dull enough that it doesn't do any more damage than what's already been done.

Juvia stands on one of the tables, clearly pleased with herself. She looks over her shoulder at Gray as if to say, 'See that Gray-sama! Juvia is amazing even as a cat, right?'

I, however, am not so impressed. "Solid script: iron!" I meow. A word in iron does appear, but it's not IRON. It's MEOW.

My iron MEOW falls on Juvia, turning her from a living blue fur hat to a living blue fur pancake. "Why would you use magic as a cat?" I shout at her.

"Um, Levy-chan, you just did the same thing." Lu-chan points out.

"They can use magic?!" Everyone in the guild yells, jaws on the ground.

"Take that Fire Freak!" Gray boasts, puffing up his now bare chest. "My Ame can use magic!"

"Your Ame..." Juvia has hearts in her eyes.

"Hey Kira!" Natsu pats her head. "You can use magic too right?" He looks so hopeful.

"Whatever." Lu-chan rolls her eyes but picks a key from her ribbon and touches it with her nose. "Gate of the Maiden, I open thee! Virgo!" A short haired pink cat appears. Lu-chan's eyes just about pop out of her head.

"Check it out!" Natsu laughs, holding Virkitty out Rafiki style. "Kira can summon an army of cats!"

"That's one cat, Salamander." Gajeel laughs.

"You. Cat. Why?" Lu-chan sputters.

"I took this form to please Hime, who is now also a cat." Virkitty explains. "Punishment time?"

"No! In fact, if you could ask the others if they'd possibly also come out as cats, that would be a big help." Lu-chan tells her, and Virkitty disappears, much to Natsu's sadness.

"This is weird." Gray says.

"You're weird." Natsu snaps back.

"Not you idiot!" He growls. "I mean the fact that the girls vanished and these cats came out nowhere, with magic that's similar to theirs."

"Hmm..." Natsu looks like he's thinking hard, then scratches his head. "I don't get it."

"He's saying," it's Lisanna who responds, "that maybe these kitties are connected to the girls. You should take extra good care of them."

"Really?" Gajeel looks down at me. "You're connected to Shrimp?"

"Yup!" Lisanna beams. "You have to cuddle with them, sleep with them, dote on them. And don't forget that you can be honest with your feelings to them too. Like, hint hint, if you have something important you want say to your girl, you could totally practice with your cat!"

Just what is Lisanna saying?! Even thinking about doing all those things with Gajeel makes me bury my face in my paws! If I didn't know any better, I'd say Lisanna knows we've been transformed into cats and is trying to set us up with the boys. But that's simply impossible!

I'm interrupted by Lu-chan's yowl, and see Natsu pick her up by the scruff of her neck and drag her away. "Let's go look for Lucy again Kira! Maybe Gray's right for once and you'll find her!"

"Natsu, that hurts!"

"Ouch! Kira, why'd ya bite me?"

"Come on Ame, I'm beginning to get a little worried for Juvia. Let's search too." Gray holds out an arm and Juvia prances up it.

"Juvia is very happy Gray-sama is concerned about her wellbeing." She purrs, and licks his face.

He scratches under her chin. "Yeah, I like you too."

"GRAY-SAMA! JUVIA LOVES YOU!!!"

Which leaves me and Gajeel. I look at him expectantly. Is he going to say something about being worried and looking for me too?

"Damn that Shrimp." He mutters.

Hopes squashed, I glare at him, swishing my tail in annoyance. "Excuse me?"

He picks me up. "I told her to stay close to me. She didn't and now she's lost."

I rub my cheek against his chest. "That's funny, 'cause I'm right where I wanna be."

And with that, we leave too.
