A/N: Okay, Okay, in this part, I'm making it easy to distinguish between Y/N's and Marinette's words when Marinette's body is speaking, for Marinette, it'll be normal, but if Y/N is using Marinette's mouth to say something, I'll make it underlined. If both, then it'll be underlined and bold.

Y/N sighs as she watches the news through Marinette's eyes, feeling lonely for the first time in a few months. She sits down on her mind couch and pulls her legs up to her chest.

"The stone beings are scattered all over Paris, and for the time being, they are showing no signs of movement. Police have cordoned off the area." Nadja Chamack reports.

Mayor Bourgaire announces, "We won't stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves. But for now, we're not making much headway."

Y/N sighs, "Of course they're not. They don't have the magic to do it."

Nadja continues, "Paris is relying on our new Guardian Angels Ladybug and Cat Noir to save us all. Our lives depend on them."

"Wow... No pressure or anything." Y/N scoffs.

Marinette hasn't spoken to Y/N since yesterday, and that worries her. Y/N's tried to communicate with Marinette, but each time, she's thrown back into the mind palace. Y/N knows that Marinette will become Ladybug again, but she's uncertain of if Marinette will speak to her again.

Tom comforts Marinette, "Listen, I know how upsetting and scary all of this must be, but don't worry, sweetie. We've got two superheroes looking out for Paris now, and the best way of helping them is to show that we're not scared because we trust them."

Y/N exclaims, "Does no one notice how old they are?! Teenagers shouldn't be tasked with saving the world! But... but we are. We're tasked with saving the world because adults are idiots. Except for Sabine and Tom."

"But what if Ladybug fails?" Marinette asks.

Tom jokes, "Then I'd come and save you! Super baker to the rescue!"

"That'd actually be a damn good hero name. He just needs a good costume. I'm sure you could design his costume, Nettie." Y/N smiles, hoping Marinette can hear her.

Marinette giggles, "Thanks, Super dad." and kisses him on the cheek.

Marinette runs upstairs to grab her bag for school when she stops at her mirror. She stops. Y/N stays silent, worried that if she says anything that Marinette won't take the Miraculous. Marinette softly gasps in concern and opens the drawer, taking out the Miraculous and putting it in her bag. Y/N lies down on her chair, waiting. Adrien should be running away from home now just to get into school.

"Ladyblog, bringing you all the latest news about the coolest superhero, Ladybug!" 

Y/N zones back in as she realises Marinette's talking with Alya. "Check out the number of views since I uploaded that video!" Alya smiles.

Marinette frowns, "Why do you trust Ladybug so much? All these stone beings..."

"She's gonna handle them!" Alya smiles, so sure of herself.

Marinette frowns, "But what if she's not really cut out to be a superhero, even though everyone thinks she is?"

Y/N feels Marinette's heart pounding in pain and regret. She wants to comfort her, but maybe it's best to leave that to Alya.

"What are you talking about, girl?" Alya asks, then narrows her eyes. "Oh, wait. I know what this is about." Marinette panics suddenly when Alya places her hand on Marinette's shoulder. "You're scared! But don't be. I've seen her with my own two eyes, girl! Ladybug is a true superheroine! She's gonna protect us all! I believe in her." Alya smiles.

Marinette stops, actually processing Alya's words.

"I believe in her."

The words repeat in her head for a moment. Y/N knows because she can hear them. Marinette follows Alya when they hear a few kids surrounding Ivan talking to him.

"So you really don't remember anything?" Alix asks.

"You were totally going ballistic. It was so cool." Juleka smiles.

Y/N smirks, "Someone likes danger."

Kim exclaims, "You were totally out to crush me, dude!"

Mylene looks away from Ivan, which upsets Ivan.

Suddenly, Y/N, somehow angry enough to take over, moves Marinette's body over to Kim and glares, the voice slightly deeper, "From what I heard, Kim, he was justified in his motives. If anyone should've been punished, it should've been the one who provoked Ivan. Who was that again? Oh yeah. You."

Marinette goes to take over again when she realises that Y/N knows what she's doing.

"What are you implying, Marinette?" Kim asks.

Y/N scoffs, "I dunno, what are you inferring?"

Kim stops, seemingly stumped by the question.

"Ivan has as much right to get angry as anyone else." Y/N smiles, then decides to bring on the guilt trip. "But what do I know? I'm just someone who's been bullied half my life, what do I know about being name-called and its effects?"

Chloe scoffs, "Once a monster, always a monster." Ivan gets angry and gets up, scaring everyone except Y/N who was expecting this. She gives him a sad but comforting smile as he walks away. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out!" Chloe calls after him.

Y/N wants to walk up to Chloe and slap her, but she knows it's better to talk to Ivan.

"Alya, give Chloe a piece of your mind. I'll help Ivan." Y/N orders as she walks away from the group.

Before she opens the door to the locker room, she turns to the group and gives them a disappointed look. The "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed in all of you" look that makes people feel even more guilty. She sighs.

"I'm sorry for taking over Marinette. I'll go back in my corner if you're still upset with me." Y/N whispers.

She pushes Marinette to take over again. Marinette mentally smiles at Y/N.

"We'll talk about this later. I'll handle it."

Marinette finds Ivan listening to music to calm himself down through headphones. She places her hand on his shoulder, getting his attention. He takes off the headphones.

"You know, you should tell Mylene how you feel." Marinette smiles.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Ivan frowns.

Marinette smiles, "Come on. I saw how you looked at her." Ivan frowns at Marinette, then looks to the ground in shame. "No negative emotions, Ivan." Marinette smiles. Ivan glares at Marinette.

"Y/N? Help, please?"

"I got this, Nettie. Just be prepared for me to take over at random parts, and pick up on when I've finished."

"Look, what I mean is, be positive. I'm sure Mylene has feelings for you too. In fact, I'd bet on it. Just talk to her."

Ivan frowns, "I'm no good with words, anyway."

"Neither am I. I'm awful with talking to boys I'm attracted too. But who needs words? Girls love all sorts of ways to show affection. You could draw her a picture, send her Flowers, inviting her out to an arcade..."

Ivan asks, "I could write her a song?"

Marinette smiles, "That's a wonderful idea! What girl wouldn't want a love song written just for her?"

Y/N answers, "Me. Oh, before he runs off, warn him what kind of music she'd like!"

Marinette smiles, "Go for it Ivan, oh, and stay positive. Also, be careful what music you choose. She has to know what you're saying."

Ivan runs out, causing Marinette to giggle.

"Thanks, N/N. Sorry I've been blocking you out." Marinette smiles.

Y/N smiles, "It's cool, Nettie. But I think we just P.O'd the resident supervillain. Let's get to class with Alya before the bell rings."

When the two girls in the one body meet up with Alya, they walk to class.

"Alya, wouldn't you like to be a superhero and go out and fight monsters and villains?" Marinette asks.

Y/N sighs. She was hoping this part wouldn't come, but it's needed.

Alya smirks, "Totally! I'm not afraid of anyone. Why do you ask?"

Marinette nervously laughs, "No reason."

As Alya turns back to see what's in front of them, Marinette places the Miraculous in her friend's bag.

"There are some big warning's here, Nettie. Let me explain three rules I know that keep me alive during a fight. Rule one, Always be afraid. Rule two, always finish the fight. Rule three, when in doubt, kick in the Gronk-nuks. Alya doesn't have these rules." Y/N explains.

Before Y/N can explain any more, the girls walk into their classroom. As they go into the classroom, they see a blond boy seemingly putting gum on their seat.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Marinette exclaims.

The boy, surprised, tries to explain before two haughty laughs sound from behind Nino.

"Permission to take over?"

"Permission freaking granted!"

As Y/N takes over, she growls, "Alright then. Blondie, back to your seat. You must all find this very funny! Don't think I don't see you all watching and not stopping it!"

He exclaims, "No, I was just trying to take it off."

Y/N walks over to the piece of gum and pulls a tissue out of her pocket and a pen, scraping the gum off easily while her classmates look down at their laps in guilt.

"Your claim of innocence is not what the evidence suggested, sir. Friends with Chloe, right? You look like you could be her brother. Anyone who's friends with Chloe is known as someone to stay away from. Everyone knows Chloe's a jerkface that'll drop you like a hot tray fresh out of the oven." Y/N scoffs.

Even though she knows the truth, might as well show Adrien not to mess with Marinette. She sits down in her seat, frowning in disappointment at her classmates.

"Now do you see what I mean about respect, Adrikins?" Chloe smirks.

Y/N bites her thumb at Chloe and lets Marinette back in control.

"I know I've seen him somewhere before..." Marinette frowns. Alya shows Marinette her phone, which has a picture of Adrien Agreste on it. "Of course! He's the son of my favourite fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste!" Marinette gasps.

Alya scoffs, "Daddy's boy, teen supermodel, and Chloe's best friend? Forget it!"

Y/N sighs. As she's waiting for something interesting, she plays Never Enough in her mind, letting Marinette hear it too.

"What's with the romantic song?" Marinette asks.

Y/N shrugs, "I like it. It makes me cry."

"Agreste, Adrien?" Miss Bustier smiles.

After a short while, Adrien shoots up and yells, "Present!" making everyone laugh.

"Bourgeois, Chloe?"

"Present."

"Bruel, Ivan?"

Suddenly, Stoneheart bursts through the door, yelling, "PRESENT! Mylene!"

Y/N exclaims, "Stoneheart's back! Marinette, do something!"

Everyone screams in fear as Stoneheart walks over to the cowering girl Mylene and picks her up, scaring her even more.

"Let go of me, Ivan!" Mylene exclaims in fear.

Ivan frowns, "I'm not Ivan anymore! I'm Stoneheart."

Mylene asks, "Why are you doing this?"

"So you and I can be together forever!"

Y/N shrugs, "Romantic, but kinda toxic."

"DADDY! The monster is back!" Chloe's high pitched voice exclaims, getting the attention of Stoneheart.

Stoneheart picks Chloe up, then kicks the wall, breaking it, then jumps out, taking both Mylene and Chloe with him.

Y/N smiles, "I find an odd satisfaction seeing Chloe getting kidnapped."

"Y/N!" Marinette exclaims to her in shock.

"You don't?"

"NO!"

Alya smiles at Marinette, "Come on, let's go follow him!"

Marinette disagrees, "Uh... Oh, no. You go. I'm finding myself a safe place to hide."

Y/N rolls her eyes.

"Girl, you're gonna miss Ladybug in action!" Alya exclaims, trying to encourage Marinette.

Marinette's eyes land on Alya's bag. She picks it up and holds it out to Alya.

"You and Ladybug will both be better off without me." Marinette frowns.

"I really don't want to be the one to say this, but no one else is, so I have to. She'd be a horrible Ladybug. She doesn't have any self-preservation instincts." Y/N mutters to Marinette.

Alya shrugs, "If you say so!"

She then runs out, without her bag. When Marinette realises it, she chases after her best friend.

"Wait, your bag!" Marinette calls after her.

Y/N shrugs, "I'll be back here until you catch up to her."

"Can't you increase my speed?" Marinette asks as she chases after Alya.

Y/N lies, "Not right now. Being locked up kind of depleted my energy."

After a while of running, Marinette stops in front of a horrible scene. Cat Noir fighting a bunch of stone beings and Alya hiding behind a rubbish bin. Suddenly, a car goes flying towards Alya. Marinette gasps in horror as the car comes closer to her best friend. Cat Noir, quickly thinking, throws his baton at Alya, making sure it didn't crush her. She's stuck underneath the car. Suddenly, Cat Noir gets picked up by a stone being, getting taken captive. Marinette, in shock, drops Alya's bag as the stone beings walk away.

"Cat Noir can't help them! Alya's in danger! Who's going to save everyone, Marinette?" Y/N asks.

Alya tries to climb out of her captivity, takes a breath in, then screams in the loudest voice she can as she suffocates, "HELP!"

Marinette growls in anger as she's filled with courage and pulls the Miraculous out of Alya's bag, putting the earrings back on. Tikki forms in front of her.

"I think I need Ladybug!" Marinette exclaims.

"I knew you'd come around!" Tikki smiles.

Marinette frowns, "Well, I'm still not sure I'm up for this, but Alya's in danger. I can't sit back and do nothing! Tikki, spots on!"

She then transforms into her Ladybug suit.

"Whoo-hoo! I knew you had it in you, Maribug!" Y/N smiles.

Ladybug quickly frees Alya from her car trap. Alya runs out and falls to the ground, taking a deep breath, letting the air flow back into her lungs. Ladybug lets go of the car and walks to Alya.

"You can't stay here. It's too dangerous." She frowns as she picks up Cat Noir's staff. She then runs after the stone beings. She swings over them like a trapeze artist and throws Cat Noir's staff into the hand holding him. "Cat Noir! Extend it!"

Cat Noir does just so, rolling out and hurting his head. Ladybug wraps her yoyo around his leg and pulls him away just as a Stone being tries to crush him. Cat Noir ends up hanging upside down on a light pole.

"Sorry I was late, Kitty. Got held up in my civilian life." Y/N smiles, taking over just to say that.

Cat Noir jokes, "M'lady, have I ever told you that you turn my world upside down?"

Y/N mentally rolls her eyes as Ladybug takes over again.

"Oh, you're quite the jokester, aren't you?" She smirks. The Stone beings roar at her. "But your comedic timing needs work! We gotta get out of here!"

She jumps onto a building's roof, Cat Noir being dragged along by the yoyo for a few moments. He quickly rights himself and follows the bug-themed heroine.

"Hey, aren't we gonna take care of them?" Cat Noir asks, confused.

"Ivan is our target, isn't he, Maribug?" Y/N asks.

Ladybug frowns, "If we want to save them all, we go to the source. That one!"

She glares at the Eiffel Tower, where Stoneheart is surrounded by police.

Y/N asks, "Do we have to save Chloe?"

"YES!" Ladybug scolds Y/N.

Y/N shrugs, "Hey, I'm just saying, there'd be a lot less negative emotions in Paris if she weren't here."

"I demand my daughter's safe return!" The Mayor orders.

"Daddy!" Chloe whines.

Stoneheart glares, "You know what? You're welcome to her!"

He throws Chloe through the air towards her father.

Chloe screams, then prays out loud, only to get caught by Ladybug, interrupting the prayer. "I didn't promise."

"Liar." Y/N whispers, loud enough for Chloe to hear.

Marinette asks, "What did she say?"

Y/N tells Marinette, "Her exact words were: "Help! I promise I'll be nice to everyone, say please and thank you all-." That was it."

Marinette chuckles slightly as Chloe runs to her father, hugging him.

"We're clear to attack!"

Ladybug exclaims, "Wait! No! Don't attack them! You know it'll only make things worse!"

Officer Roger scoffs, "I have a new plan, unlike you. Move aside and let the pros do their job. You've already failed once!"

Y/N frowns, "He's wrong. I'm taking over. Listen to every word I say to this idiotic officer."

Y/N takes over and walks right up to Officer Roger and growls in his ear, "I failed? I FAILED?! You failed too, you know! Unlike you, I have the power to turn the young man back to normal. If I never showed up, Officer, then Chloe would be dead. If we never showed up, half of Paris would be dead. If Cat Noir and I never showed up, Stoneheart wouldn't have turned back the first time! You can't make it without us!" Her voice gets louder as her anger builds, "It's because of incompetent cops like you that we're in situations like this! Now SIT DOWN! YOU'RE IN A TIME-OUT!"

Y/N walks over to Cat Noir, the anger dissipating to show sadness and guilt, which comes straight from Ladybug.

"He's not completely wrong, though. If I had captured the Akuma the first time, none of this would've happened. I'm probably not the right person for the job." Ladybug sighs.

Cat Noir puts his hand on Ladybug's shoulder and disagrees, "No. He's wrong. Completely wrong, M'Lady, because without you, she'd no longer be here. And because without us, they won't make it, and we'll prove that to 'em. Trust me on this. Okay?"

Ladybug blinks, then smiles, "Okay, Cat Noir."

Suddenly, Stoneheart starts coughing, although it sounds more like it's choking. Stoneheart coughs out a large swarm of butterflies and falls backwards. Y/N gasps as she realises Mylene and Ivan could be badly hurt from the fall. She didn't realise this while watching the series, she does now. The Akuma's form a face.

"People of Paris, listen carefully. I am Hawk Moth." The face smirks.

"Hawk Moth?" Both Ladybug and Cat Noir ask.

"Ladybug, Cat Noir, give me the ladybug earrings and the black cat ring now. You've done enough damage to these innocent people!" Hawk Moth blames.

Ladybug claps sarcastically, "Nice try, Hawk Moth, but we know who the bad guy is. Let's not reverse the roles here. If there's anything I hate more than a bully, it's a bully playing the victim! Without you, none of these innocent victims would be transformed into villains. You were the one who took advantage of that young man's heart. You were the one to manipulate his feelings into something for your own selfish desire! YOU, sir, were the one to make the young man destroy half of Paris! So listen very carefully, Hawk Butt! No matter how long it takes, No matter what obstacles you throw in our path, we will find you, and YOU will hand us YOUR Miraculous!"

Ladybug runs towards the butterfly face and swipes her yoyo at it, de-evilising all the akumas, getting rid of Hawk Moth's face. As she lands, she turns to the crowd.

"Let me make this promise to you. No matter who wants to harm you, Ladybug and Cat Noir will do everything in our power to keep you safe!" Ladybug announces.

She opens her yoyo, sending thousands of butterflies into the sky. Paris celebrates the young teen's promise to the entire city. Suddenly, Stoneheart gets up, making Cat Noir come to the female to help.

"He's been given orders from Hawk Butt! We have to help them." Y/N frowns.

"Agreed."

Mylene yells in fear, "Help me!"

Stoneheart yells, "You'll never take Mylene away from me! Come to me, my stone beings!"

Y/N deadpans at the golem, "Coward."

The other stone beings surround the superheroes as Stoneheart climbs to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Cat Noir announces, "We're surrounded! What do we do now? We can't attack him!"

Ladybug nods, "Yes, but we know where the Akuma is. Oh! I know! Let's try true love's kiss!"

Cat Noir blinks, "I'm not following."

"It's simple, Kitty. They're in love with each other. We have to make her kiss him! He'll be in shock, dropping her and the object, so we can grab it and this time we'll purify the Akuma!" Ladybug smirks. She pauses for a moment, then shrugs, "Wow. That is simple."

Cat Noir shrugs, "Uh, not really following you, but guess I better trust you. Something tells me that this is how it's gonna be from here on out."

The two teen heroes climb the Eiffel tower, getting closer to Stoneheart, who has helicopters surrounding him.

"Damn. I'm getting some crazy King Kong vibes." Y/N giggles.

Mylene yells, "Help! I'm scared of heights!"

Ladybug replies, "Everything's gonna be alright!"

Stoneheart roars, the soundwave pushing the helicopters back. Cat Noir is suddenly surrounded by more stone beings.

"How do you plan on getting them closer than they already are?" Cat Noir asks as he dodges them.

Ladybug answers, "By using our powers! Lucky Charm!"

As she throws her yoyo into the air, a parachute appears, landing in Ladybug's hands.

"Maybe we should toss it to Mylene?" Y/N suggests.

"Woah!!!!! Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Cat Noir asks, after being thrown across the tower as Ladybug equips the parachute.

Ladybug replies, "We'll know soon enough!" She throws her yoyo around Stoneheart and Mylene, wrapping it around them. "His hand! Get ready!"

Ladybug pulls on her yoyo string, pulling Stoneheart's hand closer to his body, causing Mylene to kiss him. In shock, Stoneheart drops Mylene and the akumatised object. Stoneheart manages to catch Mylene before she falls as Cat Noir dives after the akumatised object. As soon as he gets close enough, he hits it, sailing it towards Ladybug. Ladybug catches it with her yoyo.

"Home run!" Ladybug smirks.

Y/N exclaims, "Wait, Maribug! I have to take over!"

Ladybug agrees, knowing Y/N has good ideas.

"Cat Noir! Catch my parachute, then hook it onto Mylene!" Ladybug yells as she throws the parachute to her partner.

Cat Noir jumps upward, catching the parachute. He hooks it onto Mylene while dodging the attacks of Stoneheart.

"Just pull the wire if you fall." Cat Noir orders.

Ladybug breaks the object, setting the Akuma free.

"No more evildoing for you, little Akuma. De-evilise!" Ladybug smirks as she waves the yoyo around to capture the akuma.

She makes a surprised sound as Stoneheart turns back to Ivan before she can capture the akuma.

"Cat Noir, go after Ivan. Mylene, pull the string!" She orders as she captures the Akuma.

Mylene, too panicked to do anything else, pulls the string, activating the parachute. Cat Noir activates his Cataclysm, making a beam out of the Eiffel Tower. (This part confused me in canon. I thought that was supposed to destroy things, not make things.) He then grabs Ivan as he falls. Ladybug smiles as she jumps down, using her yoyo to save herself just mere centimetres away from the ground. She releases her yoyo just as Mylene lands next to her.

"Are you okay?" Ladybug asks.

Mylene nods, "I'm okay now..."

Ladybug opens her yoyo, the butterfly now white and plain.

"Bye-bye, little butterfly." Ladybug smiles. She turns to Mylene, "May I have the parachute back?"

Mylene hands the Lucky Charm back to Ladybug.

"Sorry." Mylene frowns.

Ladybug shrugs, "It's alright. Miraculous Ladybug!"

She throws the Lucky Charm into the air, where it breaks into millions of tiny little ladybugs. As Ladybug watches, she sees they are actual insects fixing everything.

"That's slightly disturbing." Y/N frowns.

"Whoa. Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Cat Noir asks.

Ladybug nods, "Yes. It's amazing! It's beautiful! It's... Miraculous!"

After the cure is finished, Ladybug turns to Mylene and Ivan.

"Don't you two have things to talk about?" Ladybug asks.

Ivan hesitates. Y/N rolls her eyes.

"Dude, take a breath. Girl, here's his lyric sheet. It clears a few things up. Enjoy." Ladybug deadpans as she hands Mylene the piece of paper.

She walks away, completely uninterested, confusing Cat Noir.

"Uh... aren't you gonna-?"

"Nope. I gotta get back home. I have a life outside of heroing, ya know. Besides, I already read it. Bug out!" Ladybug smirks as she throws her yoyo away.

Ladybug swings to the school and hides just behind it as she transforms back into Marinette.

"I'm so proud of you, Marinette!" Tikki smiles.

Marinette smiles, "It wasn't just me. I'll tell you more about it when we get home, Tikki."

Alya and Marinette talk as they walk into the school that afternoon, while Y/N lies on her mind couch as she throws a ball into the air, catching it.

"So, by the time I went to the Eiffel Tower, it was all over! I'm way bummed." Alya frowns.

Marinette encourages, "Don't worry. You'll get your scoop eventually."

Alya smirks, "You're right. Next target: Ladybug, an exclusive interview!"

"Ooh. Sounds exciting." Marinette smiles, glad her friend is feeling happier.

"Oh, wait! Even better: finding out who's really under that mask." Alya smirks.

Marinette chuckles, "Uh-huh. Good luck with that one."

The two teens walk into their classroom, where Marinette gets an idea. Y/N sits up as Marinette takes Alya to the seats Chloe and Sabrina were sitting in earlier.

"Uhh... You're in the wrong seat. Go on, get lost!" Chloe exclaims as she comes in.

Marinette smirks, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good people do nothing!"

Chloe asks, "What is that supposed to mean?

"I got this."

Marinette stands up and yells, "It means I'm standing up to supervillains, and a lowlife like YOU is no exception! I'm done taking orders from you and your ponytail so SIT DOWN! No one else is gonna put up with your crap anyway! Is that understood, Bourgeois?"

Everyone stares at Marinette in shock, but she doesn't back down. Chloe opens her mouth to protest and insult Marinette, but Marinette doesn't budge. Adrien walks in to see the cat fight, but doesn't say anything in shock.

"How dare you!? My Daddy is-"

"Your Daddy is nothing but a coward who abuses his authority to please you. You've abused me for how long now? Four years? You've bullied me, you've harrassed me, and just yesterday you forced me out of my chair just so you could sit near your friend that apparently adores you, Adrien." Y/N smirks, landing her eyes on Adrien.

"Is this true, Chloe?" Adrien asks, shocked, getting the attention of everyone.

Chloe tries to defend herself, "Adrien, this bully-"

"You forced her out of her seat?! That's not cool, Chloe! Marinette's right. If this is how you act, I don't think we can be friends anymore." Adrien frowns, disappointed.

Y/N pushes Marinette back to the control panel as she jumps back on the mind couch, throwing the ball back up into the air.

After school, the rain falls, making Marinette upset. Even though home is just a quick run away from school, she's going to be drenched by the time she gets there if she runs quickly. She didn't even bring an umbrella.

"I knew I forgot something. Sorry for not reminding you, Nettie." Y/N frowns.

"It's alright, N/N. It fits my mood anyway." Marinette frowns.

"Hey." A voice smiles. Marinette turns her head away from the blonde. He opens his umbrella, sadly. "I just wanted you to know that I was only trying to take the chewing gum off your seat. I swear. I've never been to school before. I've never had friends. It's all sort of new to me."

Marinette smiles to Adrien, "It's... It's okay. I forgive you. Thanks for standing up to Chloe."

Adrien frowns, "I feel bad, though. Chloe's been my friend for years."

Y/N frowns, "What kind of parent lets their kid associate with Chloe?!"

Marinette hesitates, "Well... I can be your friend now, if you want."

Adrien hands his umbrella to Marinette, who reaches out to grab it. As she brings it towards herself, she accidentally pushes the button to close it, causing it to collapse over her head. She drops her bag in surprise while Adrien laughs, shocked, getting a chuckle out of Marinette and Y/N.

Adrien smiles, "See you tomorrow." as he walks to his car, just a few feet away.

Marinette stammers, "Uh huh! See you to- mo- tomo- Haha! Whoa, why am I stammering?"

Tikki pops up at Marinette's cheek and smirks, "Hey! I think I might have an idea!"

"Me too. Want me to kill your romantic desire?" Y/N asks.

"Y/N!!!"

"Just asking."

Marinette turns away from Tikki, who, in turn, hugs Marinette's cheek.

"As soon as we get home, we're gonna tell Tikki about you, okay?" Marinette smiles.

Y/N nods, "Agreed."

As the young girl with two minds in her head walks to her house, she glances at an elderly man in the rain, watching her with a kind smile.

"Tikki, I have to tell you something, and introduce you to someone..." Marinette hesitates.

Tikki frowns, "Marinette, no one can know about me or about you being Ladybug."

"Well...  she kinda already knows because she was there when I met you..." Marinette explains lamely, twidling her fingers.

"What are you talking about, Marinette?" Tikki asks.

Y/N groans, "Ugh, this is taking forever."

Marinette sighs, "Long story but- Okay, look, trillion-year-old cute goddess of creation, I got two minds in my head. One is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the brilliant girl with a creative spirit. Then there's me, Y/N. I'm probably her alternate personality, and I basically take over when she's going to make a fool of herself, when Nettie's in danger, or someone else is threatened and Nettie doesn't know what to do. Nice to actually talk to you."

Marinette frowns, "You didn't have to do that, Y/N. I was going to tell her."

"You were taking forever, Nettie. I was just speeding up the process." Y/N shrugs.

Tikki blinks, "You have two souls residing in your body?"

Y/N smiles, "Yeah, that sounds about right! Better than our explanations, like me being her inner demon, conscience, or just alternate personality. I've only been here a few months while Nettie's been here in her body her whole life."

Tikki sighs, "I've only had one holder that had another soul in her body, so this is gonna get some getting used to. I'm sure we can figure something out though."
