You heard Bruce's distantly from the manor, knowing that they caught up to him and had him literally in their hands. Refusing to move away, even for a second.. Bruce forced you to leave before he it happened, blocking anyway back inside before he spoke loudly.

You knew he was in pain, but that he was too stubborn too broken to let them take him alive, to learn anything about how you worked together.
