"What happened?" Taehyung asked with a small voice, his eyes holding so much fear and hurt.

Jungkook sighed and softly connected his forehead with Taehyungs. "Do you trust me?"

Taehyung lifted his hands and held Jungkooks face, sending him a small smile. "I trust you with my everything." Taehyung cupped Jungkooks cheeks and kissed his nose. Jungkook were surprised but in a good way.

"It doesn't matter what happened." Jungkook whispered and cupped Taehyungs face like Taehyung has just done to him. "What matters is that we're all okay."

Taehyung sniffled as small tears prickled down his face. "But I'm not okay."

Jungkooks eyes saddened as he watched the love of his life shrink in his lap.

Jungkook grabbed Taehyungs face and made him look at him. "You are okay, you have survived and you've gotten so much better, don't let a little hole in the road drag you down."

Taehyung nodded and wrapped his arms around Jungkooks neck. "Thank you." Taehyung mumbled.

"Don't thank me, love."

"Are you two okay?" Yoongi asked, genuinely worried.

Taehyung had seen it were Yoongi firing the gun, he just didn't see the bullet hit it's target.

Taehyungs eyes filled with fear and he clung on to Jungkook.

Yoongi sighed and walked into their room with heavy footsteps. "Look I'm sorry, I knew who he were and his intentions weren't good."

Taehyung nodded, his face buried in Jungkooks chest. "Don't do it again, I had everything under control."

Yoongi smiled and looked at the ground. "Taehyung is lucky to have you."

"Indeed." Taehyung said and lifted his head to meet eyes with Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled as Taehyung pecked his cheek.
