Chapter Ten
Maria's POV:
She sat on her bed and listened to music. Her cousin was coming to her house today. She hated her cousin. And they were going to share a room together! "Maria! James is here!" Her mother called. Maria took off her headphones and left her room to see her despised cousin, James. He was standing in the living room, a suitcase beside him, with a smile on his face. "Hello, James." She said coldly, "Hello Maria. I hear I am sharing a room with you." He says smirking. Maria nodded, "Follow me." She said and rolled her eyes. James followed her to her room. They entered and Maria gestured her hand towards a bed in a corner of the room. "That's yours. And no going into my bed this time!" She told him and she glared at him when he laughed. "Okay. But no promises." Maria kicked his leg. "Hey! You don't want to get in trouble now do you?" He said. She just rolled her eyes. Maria went back to her bed and turned her back towards James and continues to listen to her music. Later that day Maria's mom and dad went out. Leaving Maria and James alone. Maria lay on her bed, calmly watching YouTube until James came in the room. "Hey Maria." He said, "Hi." She replied, glancing at her cousin then going back to her video. She then felt something getting onto her bed. She looked up from her video and saw James on the bed. She sat up, "Get off." She said angrily while glaring at him. He smirked and moved closer, "But what if I don't want to Maria. What if I want to stay here with you." He said and held up her chin. He leaned in to try and kiss her but she pulled away. "Get off me James! I don't want this to happen!" She said angrily, grabbed her iPod and left the room. Maria sat on the couch and texted her mom.
Maria: Hey mom. Can Eliza come over? James is bugging me.
Mom: Sure sweetie. See you soon! Love you! ❤️
Maria: Kay. Bye. ❤️
She then went to texting Eliza
Maria: Yo Lizard!
Eliza: What Marua?
Eliza: Maria*
Maria: Wanna come to my house? James is bugging me and no one else is home. Mom said it's okay.
Eliza: Yeah sure! I be there soon!
Maria: Kay!
Maria waited for fifteen minuets until Eliza came. "Hey Eliza!" Maria said and smiled. Eliza smiled back, "Hey Maria! What do you wanna do?" She asked. "I dunno. Wanna watch a movie?" Eliza nodded. They went over to the couch, "Which movie?" Maria asked, "The Lion King!" Eliza said excitedly. Maria chuckled, "Okay." They watched the movie and hung out until Eliza had to go back home.
Thomas Jefferson's POV:
Thomas laid face down on the couch, bored as heck. "I'm booooorrrreeed." He said and raised his head and put it back on the soft cushion. "Then why don't you hang out with one of your friends Thomas." Suggested his father. Thomas looked up, "Fine. I'll go hang out with James." When Thomas said that he felt something wrap around his left wrist. He looked at it and saw a red string tied around his wrist. Is then disappeared and it left Thomas confused. He got up from the couch and went to the front door and put on his shoes. "I'll be back around five thirty. Bye." He told his dad calmly and walked out of the house. He made his way to his friend James Madison's apartment and knocked on the door. James answered. "Madiiiee! I'm bored. Can we hang out?" He asked. James nodded, "Yeah. I'll go tell my mom. I'll be right back." James said and left to go find his mom. James came back and they left the apartment. "Where do you wanna go?" Asked Thomas, "That park with the creek in the middle of the field!" James exclaimed, his eyes lightened up. Thomas laughed, "What's with you and that park?" He asked, "That's where I found my pet mouse, Maddie!" James replied. "Yeah we can go to that park." Thomas said, "Yay!" Said James excitedly. Thomas then felt something weird on his left wrist. He looked at it and saw that red string again. This time the string wrapped around James's wrist. James looked down at his wrist and looked back up, confused like Thomas.
Soon the two boys got to the park. They immediately ran over to the forest to go to the tree where they first met eight years ago.
Thomas was disobeying his parents rules. He ran into the forest and followed the creek. He ran into a tree with a tire swing on it. He fell to the ground. His right cheek hurt. He touched it and found some blood on his finger. The pain had made the four year old Thomas cry. "Are you okay?" Asked a young boy's voice. He turned around to see a short boy with a sweater that was a little to big for him. The boy spotted his little wound on his cheek. The boy pulled out a band-aid from his pants pocket. He went over to Thomas and put it on for him. "There we go! All better!" Said the boy proudly. Thomas wiped his tears away, "Hi. I'm Thomas Jefferson. Thank you for giving me the band-aid." Said Thomas. Thomas got up from the ground and looked at the boy, "You're welcome! I'm James Madison." James said and coughed a little, "Sorry. I'm a tiny bit sick. I'll be better soon." He told Thomas. "Okay." Replied Thomas. "Thomas!" "James!" Said two different female voices. The boys walked towards the voices. When they got to the women they both sighed in relief, glad to see their children were okay. "Hi mom!" They said in unison. "Thomas! I told you! You can't go into the forest! What if a wild animal hurt you! Or someone took you!" Thomas's mother scolded. Thomas looked down at the ground, "Sorry mommy.." He said sadly. "James! Thank god you're okay!" Said James's mother and picked him up. "I met a friend today!" James told his mother. Thomas looked up with a smile on his face, "He gave me a band-aid! Now I'm not gonna die!" Thomas said. His mother chuckled, "Well that's good." She said, "Now c'mon, let's get out of this forest." James's mother said. Thomas's mother agreed and they left the forest.
Thomas and James were talking by the tree where they first met. Thomas was on the tire swing and James sat on the ground. They soon started arguing about wether something was real or not. James pushed Thomas into the creek. Thomas had a shocked look in his face and James had realized what he had done. "Oops! Sorry Thomas!" James said and put out a hand for Thomas. Thomas grabbed his friend's hand and pulled him into the creek. James looked shocked but the boys burst out laughing. "Good thing my watch is water proof." Thomas said through laughter. The boys played around in the creek until they decided it was time to go home. They walked home, both of them dripping wet but they didn't care.

Hey! It's me, Peanut. This is short but hopefully you like it! I'm really excited to write the next chapter. It even includes a picture that I need to colour.
Well, bye!
