A look of realization crossed her face as she realized that she had indeed saved the boys life. Ohm was glaring at her and she slowly got back to her feet and brushed the dust off of her clothes.

"Point taken..." She said in a low voice. She then turned to leave but was stopped by Ohm.

"Thank you by the way." He said as he teleported away. Ohm dropped his hand to his side as he watched after her.

"I missed you..." He whispered as he picked up the stuffed rabbit. He handed it back to Bryce and slowly walked away. Unsure of what to do he tailed behind Ohm.

"Ohm?!" Bryce called after the taller man who was once again wearing his mask.

"I have stuff to do Bryce. Go into the house or something." Ohm was cut off by a loud scream. Bryce's head shot into the direction of which he heard the scream and ran that way. Ohm tired to stop him but it was too late, Bryce was out of sight.

"God damn it!" Ohm hissed under his breath.

~Bryce's POV~

Bryce ran through the piles of junk until he stumbled upon a girl stuck in a bear trap trying to get herself free. Without thinking he ran up and helped her pry open the trap.

"Quick follow me." He said in a hushed voice. He knew which monster was out here after this poor girl and he didn't want to face him again. He dragged her to her feet again and lead the way as he held onto her hand tightly. Bryce lead her to the safe house, the house he almost died in.

"Who the hell are you?!" The girl finally yelled when she pulled away from him. They hadn't made it to the safe house.

"I'm the man that just saved your life!" Bryce shot back in a sharp tone.

"Well I didn't need any help!" She yelled back.

"Oh says the one who's friends didn't come to her aid!" He didn't know why he shouted this. Before he could even speak he saw Jonathan walking up on the two. He stopped moving and just stared at the two for a moment. The he charged. It was like slow motion. Jonathan shoved the girl off to the side and paid her no mind. The one he wanted was the one he thought was dead. He grabbed Bryce by the throat and slammed him down into the ground with enough force to knock him out cold. But he held on to his consciousness with a firm hold and began to scream the best he could. He called from Ohm as the girl backed up slowly. She was soon stopped by an unseen force, then the monster Bryce fell for came into view. The girl screamed at the sight of yet another monster. Ohm, much like Jonathan paid no mind to her as he charged at Jonathan. He knocked him off of Bryce who quickly jumped up and grabbed the girl.

"Get to the safe house! Cartoonz should be there" Ohm shouted over his shoulder as he held Jonathan down. Bryce ran as he held the girls hand. She was scared but kept moving just as fast as him. Soon he was inside the safe house with the girl as he let go of her hand dropped to his knees panting.

"What the hell is going on here?!" The girl shouted softly.

"I-" He huffs softly, "Live here with those monsters... After they killed my friends." He's trying to catch his breath as he continued to speak. "The one that was trying to kill you tired to kill me twice already." He finally looked up and took a good long look at her. She had blue/green eyes and dirty blond hair just below her shoulders. She was pale with a slight tan and freckles. She had two black strips on her face, much like what you'd see in football, and a black hat. She was wearing a white tank top, which was stained with blood now and a blue hoodie also stained with blood. She was also wearing black shorts, white bloody socks and a pair of bloody black converses. She was shifting from one foot to the other slowly as Bryce holds out a hand to her.

"Bryce McQuaid." He says softly.

"Alexandra Freeman . Or Al. Or even Alex." She took his hand and shook his hand softly.
