Epilogue....

Harry's POV:

After our passionate afternoon together, we both slept peacefully on each other's embrace. She let me lay on her chest and I found my heaven.

By the time I wake up, my eyes caught the darkness beneath my curtain that shows it's already night. I looked up to the fabulous woman beside me and memories started to flash in me.

The day when she promised me about being separated and it feels like a nightmare now. I don't know how could I survive 8 years without this woman.

She's my everything now and I'm willing to do anything for her. Only her.

My fingers traveled to her glorious face while stroking them delicately and she stirred a little. Opening her eyes while her shiny hazel orbs looked at me with a smile.

"Good morning. " she said as she stretched herself like a baby.

"It's a good night, baby. " I whispered as I scooted to her ears and she looked around in surprise.

"Really? And...you called me babe? " she asked in horror and I chuckled while nodding in a yes.

"I love you, babe. " I hushed as I lead my lips to hers and she literally jumped on me while whispering the same three words.

"Alright. Let me make dinner for us. " I said as I tried to entangle myself from hers but she rolled us over as she came on top of me.

"I don't want dinner. I want you. " she whispered near my ears and I looked her in flabbergasted. After all those rounds just now, she's still on for more?

Well, indeed maybe I do too. With that, we do the magic again.

She left me. She just came to me and now she's gone.

I sat there with a pout while memories of last night came in.

"Hey, drama queen. I'm just going for my hotel to get my things here, so stop overacting. " she laughed at me as she come closer to me with only in those short pants and big t-shirt that I borrowed. Her pale skin softening under those t-shirt of mine.

How lucky are my clothes today.

"I'm gonna be back soon. " she whispered as she squished my mouth and kissed it briefly. Seeing me with all those loves that I longer for.

With that, she left the house. I got this feeling of loneliness again but I encouraged that she will be here in minutes.

I think I better do kill some time by making us dinner.

I walked to the kitchen and found the perfect recipes for all the dishes she likes. Maybe...she won't get to like as I'm confused about what might she like now.

Because, it's been 8 years since we met and what if her interest changes through all this years?

I shrugged unwatedly and started to cook her favourites. She do better like it or else, I will be scraping my head.

The aroma of the hot cooked meal run into my nostril and I gawked at how appetizing my cooking skills is.

Soon, I heard knocks on my door and I literally ran to the door to open it. Welcoming the beauty as she jumped on me while circling her arms around me. Hugging me tightly as she breath in me.

"I missed you. " she whispered and I chuckled.

"Now, who's being the drama queen. " I teased back and she squealed a little.

We then pulled away as we peppered kisses on each other and we got her bags into my house.

"Harry, my dad called. " she informed and I got curios about what might she say more.

"Okay. " I said and nodded softly as I placed her luggage aside.

"He wanted us to meet them. " she explained as she sniffed something and automatically ran to the kitchen.

I stood there, surprised. D-Did the parents wanted to meet me?

"Urmm, you mean...meeting your parents? " I asked nervously as my breath quicken.

"Oh, baby. Don't worry about that. They aren't that bad. " she uttered while facing away from me as she examines the meals.

"N-No....I mean, am I ready enough? " I asked in nervous again as I followed behind her and she came to me while placing both her palm on either side of my cheeks. Stroking it lightly.

"Harry, you all ready enough for this. But, if you don't want right now...I think we shouldn't do it. " I proposed with a smile as she kissed my cheek while turning around to the meals again.

"Urgh...I'm starving and you made my favourite. " she jolted in excitement and made herself comfortable on the dining table.

First of all, I'm glad that her favourite meal maintained as her favourite even after so long and second of all, why do I need to be afraid to meet the parents?

I'm going to hold this woman for the rest of my life so why this hesitation.

"Baby, you better join me. " she announced as she moaned after taking in a spoonful of meal.

I smiled at her and made my way opposites her. We consumed some minutes of silent after digging in and I finally found the courage to began.

"Mia, I want to meet them...too. " I informed and she looked up at me.

"You sure? " she asked in curios and I nodded with determination flashing over my face.

"Okay, then. We are leaving today. " she simply stated as she got up from the table and my jaw met the floor.

What?

"T-Today? " I questioned surprisingly and I could hear her giggles.

I stood up quickly and made my way right behind her.

"Mia? Are you serious? " I questioned again and she laughed at my face.

"I'm serious, Harry. You see, I made this promise to my dad that I will be back home with my guy within tomorrow, so that I don't have to marry that alliance of mine. " she explained.

"Altogether, if I didn't bring you today....then my father would force me into marrying that alliance. I have no choice then. " she continued simply after and I was shocked to hear that while she encircle my neck with both her arms, pulling me down to her level.

God, no. I have waited all this years to have this woman and there's no way for me to slip her up this time.

I'm getting this done myself. There's no way for me to let my girl marrying others.

"So, when's the flight? " I asked encouragingly and she smiled widely at me.

"We are landing soon, so need any motivation? " she giggled as she brushed her nose on the side of my neck which make me squeal.

For once, I'm sweating like shit. Because this is the first time I'm meeting them official and I don't know how they going to react upon seeing me.

"I'm fine. Super fine. " I replied to her and she giggled softly. God, I know that she can read me.

"Don't worry, Harry. You are going to be fine. " she whispered as she kissed my cheek.

At least, this kiss can keep me comfort for some time.

"Papa, meet Harry-- "

"Harry Brown. " Mr Knight applauded as he approached me with wide arms.

"I know this boy very well. " Mr Knight continued as he hugged me a little.

"Enough of this drama. Now, who's the boy and what's our daughter doing with him? " Mrs Knight came out of nowhere and suddenly startled all of us.

"Angela, this is the man whom I'm talking to you about. The reason behind our daughter's doom self for years. " Mr Knight explains and Mrs Knight looked me with a glow.

"Oh, boy. Your the one, huh. " she then came approached me as she patted my shoulder soothingly.

My lips formed in an innocent smile.

They...likes me.

"Mama and Papa, thank you. " Mia came from my side and hugged them firmly while they both kissed her forehead.

"No, thank you Mia. We regret everyday for not having time with you since your little. We regret being that busy material like parents. Our hope and intention is to keep you with wealth and safe but we did never think of spending time with you. You were like soulless all this years because of this guy and honestly, it makes us realise about how lost are you without support. " her mother explained and they soon had this group hug while sobbing soundly.

I'm such a lucky man to get this family.

"So, it's time for wedding bells. " Mr Knight cheered as he pulled away from the hug and rush me to them.

"Papa, but it's-- " Mia started but he cut her short.

"Mia, you got the man and what are you going to wait for? " her father asked and she looked at me with wonder.

I knew that she's super fine about us getting married but she's just considering about how will I feel.

Well, they deserve the truth in me so here we go.

Just say it, Harry.

"Mia, I don't have any words to describe how I feel about you because I had already worn out of it. " I started with a chuckle as I reached for her hand and the parents laughed along.

I slowly got on my knees and with my another hand, I took out the little red box from my pocket that I had bought right before we landed here as I heard sounds of gasp and squeal yet I ignored it to keep on my track.

"So, with the parent's blessing right infront us...." I nodded at them and they nodded acceptingly as I looked back at her, one hand covering her mouth and another holding mine tightly. I opened the box, revealing the red diamond that I specially craved for her just alike the one that she gifted me on high school.

Well, I'm still wearing it and it's clear that she wasn't expecting this. None of them does.

"...Will you marry me, Mia Knight? " I proposed and she nodded frantically.

"Is that a, yes? " I joked and she squealed while jumping on me as she made us lay together on the floor.

Her arms circling my neck as she kissed me.

"Yes! " she screamed while pulling away a little.
