I looked at my screen nervously. I'd never used a chat room online before. Jii-Chan would kill me if he knew I was going to use one. He always hated me going online. But sometimes I had to for schoolwork, not that this is schoolwork. At least no one would know who I was, hesitantly I decided to start the conversation.

DarkMagician: Hello, my names Yugi.

Great, I sounded like a totally idiot, I sighed and moved to turn of the computer but a message from another person popped up.

I sat back down and started to type, maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

I stifled a laugh and continued to type.

I laughed at how different I seemed then how I am in real life, "Yugi my boy, what are you laughing at" Jii-Chan called, I froze in my seat and looked at my door fearfully "it's nothing, Joey just texted me something funny!" Was the first thing in my mind. I prayed that he would forget that my phone had been smashed a couple days ago by Ushio, "tell him I say hi!" I sighed in relief and turned back to the computer seeing that Yami had messaged me back.

Well that was unexpected, I wouldn't of put it that way but that's how some of my friends speak on this. :EgyptianPharoah

I was speaking the truth on that one, I was always known as the innocent one who could do no wrong, my best friend Joey could never resist my puppy eyes and normal did what ever I wanted when I showed them to him. Luckily I use my power for good and not evil. I gave a small chuckle when I dared Joey to shout out 'I love Seto Kaiba' extremely loud, at first he declined with a 'oh hell nah' but my puppy eyes soon sorted that out. Now Joey is known at school as the guy who loves Seto Kaiba, I grinned at the memory.

I waited for his answer, I don't know why I cared so much on what he wanted in someone but I guess he just intrigued me, no other reason.....I hoped there wasn't any other reasons.

I want someone who will love me for who I am, not just for my looks, someone who won't judge me for who I am inside, who won't try to change me, who won't take advantage of me and use me. It doesn't matter who they are, boy or girl, I just want someone who truly loves me. :EgyptianPharoah

I closed my eyes and sighed as the memories of all the bullies beating me up, being weak and defenceless against all the taunts and jeers. A lone tear streaked down my face but I quickly wiped it away, "this is why your weak, you cry all the time" I whispered to myself, I looked at the screen again and saw Yamis reply.

I don't know why my heart leaped at the though that he was coming to live near me, maybe he would live on my street or go to my school!

I looked at the clock on my bedside table and nearly fell off my chair at the time, 11:30! How was it 11:30 already!?

DarkMagician: sorry Yami but I have to go! I lost track of time.

I shut off the computer and walked to the bathroom before having a quick shower, the entire time as a dried myself and changed into my pyjamas I was thinking of Yami. I climbed into bed and pulled the blankets over my cold body, Yami keep popping into my mind, what does he look like, what's his personality, I stuffed my face into my pillow and willed those thoughts away, my heart was doing strange flops, I knew what the meant but pushed them away. "You can't love him Yugi, he's just a stranger that you met online, he won't love you because your a nobody and a freak" I closed my eyes "just forget about" I fell asleep after that but my dreams were plagued with Yami.
