Secrets and Feelings

Later that day, Sasori, Isuke, Kiki, and I were sitting on the back porch, gazing at the sky. "Kiki thinks the sky is pretty tonight." Kiki mentioned. "Yeah, it is." Isuke agreed. "Oh, that reminds me," I reached into my pocket and took a small red bag will a few marbles filled inside.

"Here. This is for you, Kiki." I said, handing it to her. Kiki took the bag and broke it, ripping it in half. "Oi, what's your problem?!" Isuke yelled at her. "She made that for you, brat!" Sasori chimed in.

Kiki only laughed as the marbles rolled off the deck and onto the grass. "Hey, did you hear me?!" Sasori demanded. "It's fine. After all, she is just a child." I said, petting Kiki's head. "She's an adult trapped in a child's body!" Isuke and Sasori said at the same time.

"You two always yell in sync." Kiki stated. "As if! It's just a coincidence!" They yelled again. "If it's just a coincidence, then why did you guys do it again?" I asked. Sasori and Isuke frowned at each other before looking away.

"I hate him." They said at the same time. "They did it again!" Kiki cheered, giggling. I looked at them before looking back at the sky, thinking about Sasuke. After seeing him on my mission, he's all I could think about.

But the more I think about him, the more I think about how he broke my heart. I still hear the words and the hateful comments he said to me before he left me, before he abandoned me. "You don't look so well, Princess. Are you feeling okay?" Isuke asked.

I looked at him. "Yes, I'm fine." I said. "You don't look fine. What are you hiding from us, Miu? Is something bothering you?" Sasori asked with suspicion in his voice. I shook my head. "No, I'm just... a little tired." I said.

It wasn't a secret that I miss Sasuke, but I'm not sure if I should tell Sasori that. I'm afraid what will happen when I tell him that I'm still in love with Sasuke, the person who broke my heart, called me freak, and only pretended to care about me.

"Kiki gets to sleep with Miu onee-chan!" Kiki announced. "It is getting pretty late. We should head to bed." Isuke suggested. I picked up a marble that had rolled near me and held it up high, gazing through it. "Yeah..." I agreed, emotionlessly staring at the moon through the marble.

After that, we all went to bed. Well, all of us except Sasori, seeing how he's a puppet and he doesn't sleep or eat.

Sasori's POV

I stared at the starry sky for a bit until I decided to go check on Miu. She was sound asleep, her hair all out. "Sa... suke... Why... did you leave... me? Please... don't say those words... Please don't say... you hate me... Please... I don't want... it to end like this... Why... Why must you break... my heart... Sasuke..." Miu whimpered in her sleep.

I narrowed my eyes when I saw tears streaming down her face. That Uchiha... How dare he makes my cousin suffer this much. "Miu..." I whispered as I ran a hand through her hair. Miu flinched and rolled on her side.

"You're too innocent." I said with a small smile.

(Morning) Miu's POV

"Miu onee-chan! Miu onee-chan! Wake up!"

"Oof!"

My eyes shot open when I felt something heavy land on me. "Kiki? What's the matter? Did you have a bad dream?" I asked her, sitting up. "No, Kiki just wanted to wake you up. Isuke is making us breakfast!" She cheered.

"Isuke?" I asked. "Come on! Eat! Eat!" Kiki said as she dragged me out of bed. "Okay, Kiki. Just let me get my robe." I said, heading to the closet. I pulled on my pink robe, tying the sash around my waist.

"Come on! Come on, Miu onee-chan!" Kiki said as she grabbed my hand, dragging me into the kitchen. "Ohayo, Princess." Isuke greeted as he was by the stove while wearing an apron. "Good morning, Isuke." I greeted back. "See, Isuke's cooking us breakfast!" Kiki announced.

"I didn't know you could cook, Isuke." I said. He smiled and handed me a plate of food. "Try some."

"I wouldn't eat that, Miu. He could've put something in it." Sasori said. Isuke frowned as his ears flattened. "I didn't do anything to the food, Puppet." Isuke growled. "Like I'm going to believe that. We both know how much you want Miu in bed." Sasori said.

I blushed and shyly looked at the ground. How did we get to this topic? "I swear, every time you insult me, I feel like throwing you into a pit of termites." Isuke said. "And every time you act too generous, it gives me suspicions and makes me want to turn you into a nice pot of stew." Sasori shot back.

"I have a better idea. How about we just sit down and eat?" I suggested, getting in between them. "I don't eat." Sasori said, bluntly. "Hmm... Sasori, how would you like to become human?" I asked.

"And deal with emotions that could bring tears to my eyes? No, thank you." He said, bitterly. "Oh... I'm sorry." I said, looking down slightly, thinking I have upset him. "But it was a generous thought." Sasori said, gently petting my head.

I looked at him with a small smile.

After breakfast, I helped Isuke wash the dishes. Kiki helped by putting away the dishes after they were dry. "Thank you for breakfast, Isuke. It was delicious." I commented. "I'm pleased you enjoyed it, Princess." He replied with a smile.

"Tch. At least there wasn't anything in the food to get you in bed with him." Sasori mumbled. "That's it!" Isuke lunged at Sasori and the two of them began to wrestle on the floor. "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" Kiki chanted as she giggled.

I frowned and used my telekinetic powers to separate the two of them. "I won't tolerate misbehavior in the kitchen." I said, holding them up in the air. I set them down on the ground gently when I felt like it. "My apologies, Princess." Isuke apologized with a bow.

I sighed. "You're forgiven." I said before turning to Kiki. "Kiki, did you dry the dishes?" I asked. "Hai, Miu onee-chan." She replied with a smile. "Good." I lifted my arms as I made the dishes float into the air.

Using my powers, I opened the cabinet doors and carefully placed the dishes in their place. Once they were in the set in their place, I closed the cabinet doors. "You're handling your powers well, Miu. Nice job." Sasori praised.

I smiled, then covered my mouth a yawn. "Are you tired, Princess?" Isuke asked. "Yeah, just a little. I didn't get much sleep last night." I said, rubbing my right eye. "Then, why don't you take a nap?" Sasori suggested. "But there's still many chores that need to be done." I said.

"I'll handle the chores, Princess. Your health is what matters to me. Please, rest." Isuke said. "But I-"

"Okay, enough excuses, Miu." I gasped when Sasori unexpectedly picked me up, bridal style. When did he even get behind me? Oh, I forgot Sasori used to be an S-rank criminal. So, of course he'd be this skilled. Sasori carried me into the living room and set me on the couch.

"Take a nap, Miu. You need it. Just by looking at you, I know you're tired. Dark bags are starting to form under your eyes." Sasori said. I opened my mouth to argue until Sasori spoke again. "Don't bother arguing with me, because I'll win in the end." He said.

"What makes you so sure of that?" I asked, sitting up. He smirked before getting close to my face. "Trust me, I will." He said, then leaned back. "Rest, Miu." He said. I gave up on fighting with him and lied back down, closing my eyes. I felt a blanket being draped over me as I drifted off to sleep.

Sasuke's POV

As I trained, I couldn't help but think about Miu. She's changed, but I'm glad she let her hair grow out. She looks absolutely beautiful. I wish I could see her again. I want to see her again. I really miss Miu.

After seeing her the other day, she's all I could think about. But she hates me. I mean, who can blame her? I broke her heart. I said those things back then that I couldn't take back. I even told her that no one would love a freak like her.

But I didn't mean any of that stuff. I only said those things because I had to break the bond between us. But now...

"Dammit." I muttered, clenching my fist. I can't do this anymore. I can't live without Miu. No matter how much I try, how hard I try, I can't get her out of my head. She's all I can think about. She's the only person I can think about.

I have to make things right between us. I have make things right again. I have to find her and apologize to her. I have to get this feeling off my chest. I have to tell her I love her.
