Kawaii~Chan twiddled her fingers as she sat on the couch. She was beside Zane; both of them reflecting off an awkward aura. Katelyn stood in front of them. Arms crossed, and tapping her foot impatiently. 

"You two are going to explain why you two did that- I can't even- act ! In my kitchen!" Katelyn boomed, still finding herself unfathomable by what she had just witnessed. 

"But doesn't Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn~Sama share a kitchen?" Kawaii~Chan questioned. Katelyn shot her a glare which made her tail frizz up. Zane noticed this and held her hand to help her calm down. 

"See ! Why are you holding her hand, huh Zane?" Katelyn pointed at their entwined hands and folded her arms once again.  

"Oh, I dunno, maybe it's because you scared her half to death! Her tail frizzed up and everything! I'm trying to calm her down." He replied. Kawaii~Chan let out a sigh knowing that Zane had her back. She weakly smiled at him as her tail began to sway. 

"Ugh! Can you two stop being all cute and gooey and tell me what's up!? Jeez, you look like an annoying couple in public!" Katelyn acted grossed out while they gave her a resemblance to an iconic emoticon face.

"What!?" She pouted as the two rolled their eyes and laughed. 

"I guess the cat's out the bag, I guess." Kawaii~Chan said as she glanced at Zane. "I guess it is." He replied. Katelyn was obviously confused by this. 

"Katelyn..." Zane began. He began to fear her reaction. He looked at Nana who nodded, allowing him to continue. He breathed in and out before continuing. 

"We're dating." They spoke in unison. 

The pair watched as Katelyn stumbled back in shock and almost knock something over on the coffee table. Her face screamed a look of horror as she made sparatic movements. She looked like she wanted to barf, hit something, and be joyful all at once. 

Zane and Nana looked at each other and back at Katelyn. "This!" she began. "Th-Th-This cannot be p-possible! An emo?? And a fangirl?! Opposites DATING EACH OTHER!?!?" 

Zane snickered at her disbelief. Kawaii~Chan nudged him playfully in the arm, about to burst out in laughter herself. Katelyn suddenly left the room to take a breather. 

Too much to handle all at once. 

"Do you really think she's going to be okay? She looked like she wanted to die, hug me, and throw me out of a window all at the same time!" Zane said. Kawaii~Chan laughed and said "I'm sure she wanted to do all those things to you. In time, I guess."

"In time!?" He shouted. 

She giggled in response. 

 "You're lucky you're cute..." He muttered, adjusting his scarf. 

"Actually, wait a minute!" Katelyn rudely outbursted, ruining the moment. "Are you sure you're not pulling my leg or something? This has to be some kind of prank!" 

"Nope. It's a hundred percent true. Not meme-ing on yah either." He reassured. Kawaii~Chan  confirmed it by nodding vigorously.  Katelyn smirked with confidence; worrying them a bit. 

"If what you speak of is true, then..." She began with a cocky tone. "I want you two to kiss. Right here." 

She stepped closer to them, standing behind the couch they were on.

"Right now." 

Zane shrugged in agreement nonchalantly, wanting to prove her wrong. Kawaii~Chan smirked shyly as she turned herself to Zane. Zane did the same, pulling down his scarf. 

"You're actually going to do it? Pshhaw! You don't have the b-" She stopped mid-sentence when she saw the pair in front of her. 

Hands overlapped on each other's. 

Lips locked. 

No pulling back.

Not a single thing about it seemed fake. It was pure. Genuine. 

And it certainly proved her wrong!

The couple stopped once they heard a thud, snapping them out of their love-struck daze. They found an unconscious Katelyn on the floor with her jaw dropped. Zane couldn't help but snicker at the scene. 

Eventually, she joined in until they just downright began dying of laughter! Who knew that she would actually faint? How hilariously ridiculous! 

They eventually hauled her up to her room. They would be bad people just leaving her on the floor like that. (A.N : Lol) 

Zane gave her one last kiss before heading on home. Nana decided to get ready for bed, ready to just daze off to sleep. Before she did, she fed her cat, Nova, like she did every night. When he finished eating, they curled up beside each other and went to sleep.
