Cat Blanc brought Allan all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

"Anything seem familiar to you?" Cat Blanc smirked as he held Allan by the neck.

"This..." Allan gasped for air as he tried to get out of his grasp, "is where you dropped my sister..."

"That's right! You're smart." Cat Blanc said before laughing maniacally, "on second thought, that wasn't so smart of you to think you're so much better than me. Don't make promises you can't keep, hot stuff."

Suddenly, Cat Noir stopped for about a minute as he saw an image of Marinette in his mind.

"I'm not going anywhere."

"Promise?"

"Promise..."

"I couldn't keep my promise..." Cat Blanc whispered as tears welled in his eyes.

"What?"

The sound of Allan's voice reminded him of his mission. So he shook the thought out of his mind and held Allan high over the long drop.

"Please..." Allan gasped, "I'll do anything. Just please don't let go..."

"Sorry. Should've said that before you started dating Marinette." Cat Blanc said as he held Allan up to his face, eye to eye, "she's mine. And she's been mine longer than I can remember. I can't let you interfere with our relationship that has gone longer than she's ever known you."

Cat Blanc realized what he had just said, then wished he could take it back.

Allan stared at the white cat before him and chuckled a little, "well, well, well. What do you know. You're the infamous Adrien Agreste, aren't you? You faked your death."

"Don't tell me what I already know." Cat Blanc tightened his grip.

"Do you know what you put Marinette through?! When she finds out you're alive, she's going to kill you. Unless the cops do it first. Your choice." Allan shrugged.

"I did it to keep her safe." Cat Blanc clenched his teeth, "you don't understand our situation. What circumstances we were put under."

"But was that both of you? Or just you?"

Cat Blanc was silent for a second, except for the loud cries and shouts from below them. But one sound that suddenly stood out was the whiz of a yo-yo.

"Cat Blanc!"

Both he and Allan turned to see Ladybug herself flying towards them. Before Cat Blanc could react, she flew past them, grabbed Allan, and landed expertly on top of a building.

"Ladybug! Thank goodness! I need to tell you something important!"

"Sorry Allan. It's got to wait. I need to take care of Cat Blanc before he does any further damage. Go into a building and stay there." Ladybug instructed. Allan nodded and ran off, just after she patted his back, planting a tracer on him.

She turned and stood on the edge of the building as everyone snapped pictures of the hero's reappearance after almost a month.

"Ladybug."

She turned to see her partner standing behind her some distance away on the same roof.

"Long time no see, my Lady."

"Cat Noir, what you're doing is wrong. And all for what, some girl? Is that it? I know Allan is dating that Marinette Dupain-Cheng girl, right? You love her?"

"It's best you stay out of it. You don't know this girl like I do."

Ladybug laughed, "don't know her? I know that she suffered this past couple weeks suffering the loss of her boyfriend whom she loved so much, she almost committed suicide. Well, she did, but was saved by Cat Noir himself. He clearly had feelings for her too, and she started having feelings for him too, surprisingly. Even with Allan in her life, she just couldn't deny him anymore."

Cat Blanc just stared at her blankly.

"So please don't take it out on anyone else anymore." Ladybug said as she held out her hand to him.

Cat Blanc looked down at her hand as he started walking towards her. Before he could take her hand, he felt a suffocating feeling in his chest. He grunted and held his chest as he started stumbling backwards.

"Are you okay?" Ladybug asked, but Cat Blanc only started wheezing. He coughed, and Ladybug gasped when she saw the bright red fluid splatter on the ground below him.

Don't listen to her! She knows nothing about Marinette! Only you do! Destroy her, and get her out of the way! Or else...

Cat Blanc heard Hawk Moth's voice in his head as he panted, hunched over the ground. He slowly stood up as he spit leftover blood from his mouth, wiping it off his chin, "I only serve Hawk Moth. Only he can tell me what to do."

"You were... Akumatized?!" Ladybug gasped, then where's the...

She scanned Cat Blanc up and down, until she finally concluded that the Akuma was in his ring. His Miraculous.

"I can't break his Miraculous..." Ladybug whispered to herself, "but if I really have to... Maybe it'll repair itself."

"There's no way you're getting this from me." Cat Blanc clenched his fist and ran towards her.

She nimbly jumped out of the way and took out her yo-yo.

"Okay then, Lucky Charm!"

She threw it into the air and a red and black polka-dotted magnet appeared.

"Haha! You think you can beat me with a magnet?!" Cat Blanc cackled.

"Yes." Ladybug smiled as she looked down at the magnet then up at Cat Blanc's ring, "this'll be a piece of cake." She began twirling her yo-yo in the air and ran up to Cat Blanc. He got out his staff and they fought. Their fight only lasted five minutes because as soon as she got close enough, Ladybug held the magnet in front of his hand.

"Let's hope it's metal." Ladybug said, and the ring flew off his hand.

"No!!!"

At that exact moment, Cat Blanc used his staff and hit her to the side. Ladybug shouted out as she fell really close to the edge of the building's roof. She gasped as soon as she felt her head dangling off the side, staring straight down onto the street. She then reminded herself that she wasn't finished yet. So she dropped the ring on the ground and stepped on it.

"There you are." She smiled as the Akuma flew out, "time to de-evilize!"

She caught the Akuma into her yo-yo, then a white butterfly flew out, "bye-bye little butterfly."

She took the magnet, then threw it up into the air, "miraculous Ladybug!"

There was a burst, and everything returned to normal. Ladybug smiled and nodded as she looked at the ground and picked up the ring. She turned around and saw Cat Noir laying unconscious on the ground. She walked up to him, kneeled down, and held his head in her lap, "Hawk Moth did a real number on you, huh?" She smiled as she felt his hair, "oh so familiar... You know, Marinette can't have Adrien anymore. But Cat Noir is just all the same." She saw him starting to transform, starting from his feet, "I'm sorry Cat Noir. You're probably going to hate me for... This..."

Ladybug's voice trailed off as she stared at his shoes. His orange shoes.

"A-Adrien?! No... It can't be... Anyone can have those shoes..."

Tears filled her eyes when she saw his blue jeans. She covered her mouth as she held his face and felt his hair.

"All these days... I thought you'd died... But you were really here with me this whole time... And you watched as I dated someone else... How blind could I be?" Ladybug smiled down at Cat Noir's unmoving face. She moved her hand to his chest as his shirt changed to its black with three yellow, purple, and green stripes and white button-down. She transformed back into Marinette just as his mask and ears vanished, revealing Adrien himself.

"Oh my gosh..." Marinette gasped and cried tears of joy as Adrien shook his head, then slowly opened his eyes.

"M-Marinette?" Adrien reached up and held her face as she felt his hair.

"You're alive!" Marinette cried as she clutched his wrist, "Adrien! You're alive!"

"Yeah, I am..." Adrien smiled as he sat up, gazing at Marinette, "what happened to Ladybug?"

Marinette smiled as tears streamed down her face, "I am Ladybug."

Adrien stared at her, then chuckled as he hugged her tight, "I love you so much, Marinette..."

Marinette cried harder. She thought he was dead... All these weeks, and now here he is in her arms. Adrien wiped her tears away from her cheeks, then gave her a kiss.

Marinette smiled. She was finally reunited with the love of her life.
