Ender's pov

Two months after I took Vint home with me, I started to take the lives of people who want to take him from me. I know if he found out he'd hate me. Yet I love him too much to let him find out, I couldn't hurt his sister or Moon, but the rest I can dispose of. Slaughter and dispose of. I knew I can use his sister to get to him, if I insure his sister's safety at the coast of him marrying me. I kidnapped her and took her to my dad's house, I'm so glad my parents split up. "Here dad, do with her what you wise, Just do not kill her."
"Zank you son, I'll make zure to keep her alive." He said his accent getting thicker and thicker I took that as my chance to leave.

-time skip- Vint's pov

It's been 8 months, I've been here for 8 months, I want out but he only lets me walk around his house and if I try to leave the shock collar he put on me shocks me til I go back inside. It's impossible for me to go home, not that I really wanted to. But I want nothing more than to leave, nothing more than to go back to my family to my little sister. I was in Ender's room looking for something to help me then I saw something that made me want to puke, next to his calendar I saw a list of people that meant the world to me... My little sister's name was crossed out. My mom, dad and brother's were too. Moon's name was on there too, but had an X and a check mark next to it. I didn't know what to think, was he killing these people? What is he doing to them? I wish I knew what he was doing while he was gone. Well, I wish I didn't, I have a feeling I know... he was taking away everyone who could save me... I curled up on his bed, and instantly passed out.

Ender's pov.

I sigh as I walk into my room and lay on my bed, I feel something grip onto my shirt. Looking over I smile "Night Vinty..." I say softly as I pull the blanket on us. I place a kiss on his forehead. I curl up around him and wrap my arms around his waist. "You're too good for anyone, including me Vinty." I yawn and sleep as me and him cuddle.
