Hiei's POV

I watched Max fall backwards and so did Genkai. I looked over at her and she just stood there with her mouth wide open.

"Will she make it?" I said wanting to move.

"I don't know" she took her hands and put the above me, healing the wounds. "But you need to get your butt down there, now"

Kurama's POV

Me and Kuwabara ran to the stage and grabbed Max before she hit the ground.

"Max is the winner!" the announcer told the crowd. "But there is no Zeru to be found."

The only thing left of Zeru was a black line of where the tiger must have hit him. Kuwabara put Max on my back and I started to carry her out of the arena.

"Did I win?" she said in a very low whisper, telling me she was in pain.

"Yes. Good job Max" I carried her a little farther out of the arena as Botan and Yukina took her from me.

"We'll carry her home." Botan put max on her back, slumping because Botan was a lot weaker then us.

"Get her to sleep on the couch" I said running back into the arena because if Zeru had lived that, he wouldn't of been alive much longer.

Hiei's POV

Genkai and I meet Botan and Yukina half way, as they were making their back to the hotel room.

"How is she" Genkai took Max's face into her hands as we watched her examine burn spots on her cheeks and made sure her eyes where alright.

"She will be asleep for a while but when she wakes up she will be in so much pain" She held her arms as I saw the terrible burn marks up her hands to her elbows.

"I'll take her back." I took Max quickly from Botan and held her bridal style.

"He's no longer alive Hiei. She killed him" Yukina said as I turned around and started to make my way back.

"Good"
