Max's POV

I sat on my bed and cried. I thought he liked me back, or was it all one sided. I laid down and cried a little mor eu till I heard knocking at the door.
I wiped away my tears and got into a little bit of nicer 'not tear stained clothes'. To my surprise when I opened the door, there Hiei was alone.
"Yah know when you say for me to stay away...." I couldn't finish my sentence before I was cut off by a hug.
"Shut up Max" Hiei said. "You ready for a surprise"
I smiled and laughed a little.
"Sure" he took my hand and we walked for a while down the street.

Hiei's POV

I took a piece of cloth from my pocket and put it arround her eyes.
"I swear I'm not a masked murderer" we both laughed.
I led her to spirit world and stood in front of her.
"You can't be scared ok. I'm proving to you know that I'm a demon" she giggled.
"Yah right. Like your a demon" I took off the mask and her mouth hung open.
Thousands of the good demons where walking around freely in the spirit realm. She hid behind me.
"You weren't lying" she gripped the back of my shirt,
"Nope" I took her hand and led her to were everyone was.
Hopefully Genkai could tell me if she has any sort of power or if our team was I going to have to really find the "Chapter Black" tape.

Kuwabara ran up to Max and I almost knocked him unconscious.
"Wow so you are real," he looked deeply at her.
"Yes I am you freak!" She slapped him so hard he went flying back.
Maybe she does have some magic power.
Yusuke laughed along with Botan and Kurama. I just smiled, like always.
"oops sorry" Max scratched the back of her head.
"Hiei your girlfriend can surly do boxing" Kuwabara said laughing.
"I am not his girlfriend. I just happen to be a girl who's a friend." She looked at me. "Right Hiei!?"
"Of course" I coughed a little.
"You stuttered" Kurama, Botan, Yusuke and Genkai said at the same time.
I growled.
Genkai grabbed Max's hand and took her to the room in the back to talk to her about her late family and to see if she has any 'powers'.

It took Genkai 2 hours before she and Max came out.
"Well we have a good and a bad problem" Genkai started.
