Max's POV

I held my stomach and tried to find a dress that I could use later on down the road. I needed this job to pay rent but I was tired and I was sick to my stomach all morning.

"Miss Ushemaru?" a lady with horns and a dragon like tail held a clipboard to her chest.

"I'm here" I put my tablet away, coming to a conclusion that I would be just going to the store afterward.

"Follow me" I walked behind her to a large office. 

I sat down in a chair in front of a large desk. I stood back up when the boss walked in. 

"You must be Miss.Ushemaru" he smiled and out-stretched his hand. "My name is Sora Reo"

"Nice to meet you Mr. Reo" I shook his hand smiling. 

"Well I have intentions of hiring you. Very high intentions. Though we have never had a human girl on our floor. Or a girl that is pregnant. Congratulations by the way." It took me a second to understand what just happened.

"Mr. Reo i'm not pregnant" i laughed a little hoping this was a joke he played on all the girl candidates. 

"Miss Ushemaru, I am telling you that you are in for a good surprise when you get home then" he chuckled. "I think  your going to do very well as a demon world cop" 

Hiei's POV

Max owned 2 rings. and of course the day I need to get her ring measured she wears them both. 

"Stop freaking out Hiei" Kurama looked at the rings. "She has the same sized hands, well maybe a little smaller than yours"

Thank demon lord for Kurama. 

I held my hand up, they measured my hand and took the ring to the back. It would be ready before dinner. I was to pick her up at the interview at noon, go to lunch then drop her to go shopping for a dress after that.  What she didn't know is that i would have dinner with Yukina before dinner with her. I'm pretty sure i won't be able to eat holding the ring in my pocket.

"So many plans" Kurama hugged me.

"Eh" i grumbled on the inside. "She's worth it"

i felt my phone buzz in my pocket telling me that she was ready to be picked up now and she had exciting news. Of course it can't be as good as my surprise. 

"Hiei" i answered the phone.

"Hey? You okay?"i walked to a more quiter part of the store, Kurama following close behind. 

"I walked to the store down the street. Can you get me soon" I felt the panic in her voice. 

"I'm getting in the car" i tossed Kurama my card and i headed to the car. "Are you okay love?"

"Yah just be quick please"

Now i  knew something was wrong.
