"Just lay him there" i pointed tot he stadium's battle spot. "Jeez"

i silently growled to myself as Kuwabara laid Yukuke agents it. The stupid kid hasn't woken up yet ever sense he laid down last night.

Arching my back ,still tired, Botan yelled my name as she started running up to me with the little kitty announcer. Some cat lady who is frekin loud.

"You must be Maxie!" she said coming in for a hug.

"Nope thats so not me." i said dodging her hug. "Im just Max"

"Oh well someones a sour piece of candy" she frowned slightly.

"Oh and the teams are all set up!" Botan practically yelled/screamed into my ear.

i snatched the paper quickly that was in her hand and read it aloud.

" First up is Kuwabara" he started to get excited and made a first. "Then Kurama, then me and then our sleeping friend over there"

the announcer made her way back up to her small chair and yelled into the microphone.

"Demons and Fighters! Welcome to the dark tournament!" she said and the crowed roared with excitement. "Up first Team Uramesi vs. team Rokuyka!"

us three made our way on the circle and we stared at each other. Rinku was nothing but a child and Chu reeked of alcohol.

"Kuwabara and Rinku take the stage!"

Hiei's POV

i slammed my fist into the side table almost breaking it.

"She is there all alone" i practically growled at myself as Genkai strolled in without a simple care in the world.

"You can't do a dang thing about it so just lay there and suck it up you fool" She jabbed two boney fingers into my side which made me yelp in pain all over again.

"Shut up" i managed to get out as i clutched my ribs.

"THe first two matches are over. Kuwabara lost and Kurama won. Max is next." i laughed a little,

"No surprised the he lost and Kurama won" i looked out the window through the open door. "i just hope Max will win in one piece."
