Max's POV

Hiei and I have been taking surprise dates over the last 4 days. We went to the movies, gardens, a carnival and more. The only times that we really weren't together was the bathroom and sleeping times.

"Max can we talk about something" he held my hand as we made our way to the arena for our fight.

"Sure what's up" I smiled looking at him.

"I was stopped one day by a girl who was with Leo. She said ask about 'the scar'?" he tilted his head as fire burned inside my chest.

"I'm going to kill Leo" I felt tears well in my eyes.

Hiei pulled me aside and the crowd didn't notice, continuing to walk and talk.

"Max" he held onto my shoulders. "What does she mean?"

"It's my past Hiei. Leo told her about my past and I have kept my past buried for a reason. Leo only knows because he was there, a fellow student" I felt helpless.

"Max I know this is bad timing but we have a fight to get to" Hiei kissed my forehead. "You can tell me whatever you want whenever you're ready"

"Ok"

Hiei's POV

She had known about Max's past, more than I knew. I was angry that she had the nerve to say that to me of all people. Leo was going to pay for telling Max's personal secrets. Max and I were dressed and ready to figure out who our blind competitors were. It was a toss of dice of who we would get.

"Hello everyone! Ready to find out whose blood will be shed?" The new announcer yelled/spit into the speaker.

The crowd roared and banged on the stadium floors. Which was rebuilt after the Toguro brothers had their fights over the past few days.

"Max and Hiei take the stage and so does-"She cut off and then shouted. "Leo and Francis!"

"I have Leo" Max smiled.

"No Max" she looked at me. "He's all mine"
