Botan's POV

I took Max to a nearby mall, hoping to get her mind off the two idiots back at the hotel. Kurama acted like Hiei was overreacting about the situation. Hiei thought Kurama should have kept his mouth shut.

"Would this look cute" Max came out of a changing room in a cute dress.

"You look amazing Max-"I began before a guy interrupted.

"Maxine?" The guy sounded younger, though I couldn't tell with his helmet on.

"Oh my gosh, Leo!" Max sprung and hugged him.

Max's POV

Leo Chief, my old best friend, from when I was younger. I meet him when he was only a cyborg that was training for street fights.

I hugged him smiling big, he was taller and full metal but I could pick him out of a crowd easily.

"How have you been Leo" I smiled big laughing a little.

"I've been great!" he chuckled. "You look great"

"Thank you, Leo," I chuckled and twirled a bit.

"Hey I'm here with a friend can I see you after your match at the tournament tomorrow?" He took off his helmet and smiled.

He had a fluffy beard and messy brown hair. What caught me the most were his eyes, for they were always abnormal. Brown with one having a hint of gold speckles.

"Sure, see you then" I made my way back to the changing room.

I bought the dress.

When I got back to the hotel room, Botan was exhausted and went to her room. After hanging my dress, washing all the makeup off my face and getting some pajamas on, I went to get something to eat from the fridge.

"Do you have feelings for him" screaming I turned to Hiei who was on the couch looking beat up.

"No, I don't" He got up and stood by me as I made a sandwich.

"I'm sorry Max" I looked at him surprised.

"it's ok Hiei" I kissed his cheek and he blushed a deep shade of red.

He smiled and after a short period of totally not awkward silence, we headed to our rooms.

Laying down I stared at the ceiling, Botan snoring in the bed across the room.

"I fell in love with a complete smart butt idiot, but he is my idiot" I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
