Wait, How Big of an Army did You Say?
(A/N)Emma's telepathy is in italics. I changed it so Kora's speaking is in bolded italics, and that applies to the rest of the story. I just want to make it clear, this universe has Danny Phantom as a TV show identical to the one in our world. The reality that Secilia is in isn't the same, and there are completely different stories.
Both Kora and Emma were sleeping soundly when Ronan came in to try and wake them for breakfast. Emma had made sure to pack a small overnight bag before she came back to this universe, knowing she'd be here for a little while. She'd also grabbed some of Kora's clothes since Kora was eight feet tall, and not really able to borrow clothes from anyone.
"Hey, morning sleepy heads," Ronan called softly.
"Go away," Emma muttered telepathically.
"Well, don't blame me if all the food is eaten before you can get to it," Ronan said innocently, figuring that would be a good way to get the two out of bed.
"Fine, fine, I'm awake," Emma sent, sitting up and yawning widely, before shoving one of Kora's wings off of her. Despite being on opposite sides of the room, Kora's wings still managed to drap themselves over her.
"Do you always use telepathy in the morning?" Ronan asked curiously.
"No, but I didn't want to wake up a vengeful demon."
"I'm awake, geez," Kora muttered, folding her wings in. She swung her legs off the bed, then stood up, ending up facing the wall across from where Ronan was standing. She turned around, grinning slightly. "Is the stampede already passed, or will we have to fight a bunch of little kids."
"Stampede will be passing in about five minutes, I'd get food while you still can." Ronan walked off, closing the door behind him.
"I'm going to change first," Emma decided, rummaging in her backpack.
"I'll just go," Kora decided. Her sleeping clothes were pretty much the same as her regular clothes, just a bit cooler since she was sharing a room with Emma, who tended to heat up whatever room she was in. Emma nodded, and Kora went out into the hallway, only to be greeted by the preliminary sounds of little kids waking each other up. She hurried down the hall, reaching the kitchen just as the stampede began. Emma teleported in right next to her a second later, snagging a few pancakes and some syrup.
Ronan and Daniel shadow traveled in, grabbing food and sitting down near Kora and Emma just as all the little kids raced down the hallway, and attacked the food.
"Does this happen every morning?" Emma wondered.
"Pretty much, having 13 siblings can have some side effects," Ronan replied, taking a bite of his scrambled eggs.
"My stars, how in the stars do you have 13 siblings?" Emma asked, an amazed look on her face.
"He's a shadow neko, they tend to have litters of kids. The fact that Ronan doesn't have any twin siblings is slightly ridiculous." Kora said, shrugging.
"Yeah, the rest of my litter died in birth," Ronan said, looking down.
"How many?" Kora asked gently.
"Two, a boy and a girl," Ronan replied softly.
"So, which of your siblings are in what litter?" Emma asked, trying to bring the topic to happier subjects.
"Well, Kaara is in a litter of her own, she actually never had any siblings, the four above her are a litter, the five above that are a litter, then me, and my three older sisters are in a litter." Ronan frowned as his phone buzzed. "It's a Saturday, don't they know I'm stuck taking my siblings to the park?" He pulled it out anyway, answering the call.
"Shadow, you need to come to see this." Kella's voice rang through the phone. "Everyone else is already here."
Ronan sighed. "Can it wait until after lunch? I'm taking my younger siblings to the park."
"No, you need to come to see this now. It shouldn't take too long." Kella insisted.
"Fine, but only five minutes. Do you want Kora and Emma to come along?"
"Yeah, if you can."
"I'll be there in a minute." Ronan hung up, then met his mother's eyes. He pointed to the phone, then held up five fingers. She sighed but nodded. "Okay, I'm good to go. I'm assuming you heard the entire conversation?"
Emma nodded, standing up. "I heard it, let's go." Ronan stood up as well, placing his plate down, placing his hand on Emma's shoulder.
Kora quickly scarfed down her remaining food, then grabbed Ronan's tail when it came into range. Ronan melted into the shadows, the three of them reforming on a hill overlooking a valley. The rest of the Enigma team was there, with the exception of Illya, everyone was in their suits, Illya was just in her normal day clothes. Apparently, Kella still had her suit.
"What is it?" Ronan asked, approaching them.
"Look," Kella said grimly, pointing down into the valley.
Emma looked where she was pointing, and gasped. Hundreds of monsters were gathered, but they weren't the only ones there. The Enigma team could pick out several of their villains and their henchmen, then Emma spotted something else.
"Look there," Emma frowned. "We aren't bringing Secilia into this." Ronan looked where she was pointing, and grimaced. Senhir, hundreds of them stood in neat orderly rows, with a pair of beasts at their side.
"You're right," Illya agreed, spotting what they were looking at. "Look there, are those, ghosts?"
"Looks like it, we may have to drag Secilia and Danny into this anyway." Metron agreed. "We should call Camp Half-Blood. Anyone know what happened to the three demigods that were supposed to arrive?"
"They are coming up on this hill," Kora said.
"Hey, you guys," someone called. "You guys the Enigma team?"
Kella turned around, greeting the three demigods. "Yes, we are the Enigma team.
"Woah, is that a demon?" The boy asked, a silly grin on his face.
"Yes, I am a demon," Kora said, sighing.
"Cool," he said, amazed.
"We were here to alert you of that army, but I guess you already found it. Yes, we were here on a quest, but we also needed to alert you of that. Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter will be at your backs in this. The Hunters of Artemis too." The tallest girl said solemnly. "I am Anete, the boy is Titos, and Xenia is the third person in our party."
"Nice to meet you, does Chiron know of this army?" Illya asked.
"Didn't I just say that?" Anete asked, raising an eyebrow.
"She has a point," Elyse said, nudging Illya.
"Do they have a point at which they are planning to attack yet?" Kella asked urgently.
"Yes, in a week's time. Our spies said something about them wanting to move in once the team was eliminated, but we don't know anything about how they are planning to eliminate you." Xenia spoke this time, her words laced with power.
(A/N) Muahahaha! I end on a cliff hanger that will be resolved on Wednesday. Yep, I am very cruel. Bye!
