Wait a minute, there are other universes?

(A/N) Kora's ancient Greek will be in bolded italics, as she has quite the accent, and it sounds different than the demigod's ancient Greek.

During the night, Metron was called upon to deal with a robbery. Well, he stumbled upon it during patrol. After that was dealt with, a girl fell out of the sky and landed right next to him. Well, not right next to him, more like a few feet away, but close enough. She was extraordinarily tall, probably close to seven or eight feet. Her massive wings were on either side of her, but probably most startling were the horns on her head. Her clothing was dirty and ripped around the edges, and her eyes were closed.

"Are you okay?" He asked, approaching her slowly.

She grunted, opening her eyes. "Ugh, not really, but..." She trailed off, peering closer at him. "Wait a ziruqa, esaeu aren't Flyer."

Metron blinked. He had no idea what she'd just said. "Uh, could you repeat that please?"

"You know ancient Greek?" She asked slowly.

"Uh, yeah, I know it."

She sighed. Her job had just been made that much easier. "That's good, most people can't understand, let alone speak it."

Metron decided it was a good idea to speak in ancient Greek too, purely for convenience. "Uh, yeah, not exactly a common skill in this era."

"You have no idea. Secilia keeps asking me to teach her, but can't ever figure out what I'm saying in English, because I keep slipping into ancient Demonic." She sighed, getting to her feet. She crouched, bringing her height down closer to the five feet nothing that Metron was. She was still significantly taller than him, but he didn't have to crane his head to look at her face.

"So, um, what's your name?" Metron wondered, glancing around and realizing people were gathering around them, curious. "We may want to take this conversation to the rooftops."

The girl nodded, straightening up and spreading her wings. She leaped into the sky, soaring away. Metron saluted the crowd, then raced off, quickly vaulting onto one of the lower rooftops. The girl was clearly obvious, a tall silhouette on one of the buildings overlooking the main highway.

Once he caught up to her, she'd moved, sitting on the ground and tending to a nasty gash on her leg Metron hadn't noticed before.

"Took you long enough," she commented.

"Sorry," Metron switched to English because it'd be easiest for him. "Uh, what's your name? I never got it."

She seemed to debate for a moment, then shrugged. "The name's Kora. What's your's?"

"For now, call me Bronze." Metron offered his hand to Kora, and she shook it before returning to her leg. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine, it just needs to be bandaged up."

"My friend can help with that," Metron offered, offering his hand once again.

"If you say so," Kora said doubtfully. "And I don't need your help getting up, I've had quite a few injured legs in my lifetime."

"How old are you?" Metron wondered.

"1300, give or take a few hundred years." Kora shrugged, getting to her feet. "Lead the way, demigod."

Metron had lead Kora halfway to Kella's house before he realized she'd called him a demigod.

"Uh, could you stay here while I get my friend?" Metron asked, pausing on a rooftop.

"No problem," Kora said, landing and promptly sitting down.

Metron landed on Kella's rooftop in only a few minutes, knocking on the window. She pretty much rolled out of bed, coming to open the window.

"What do you want?" She asked, yawning widely.

Metron stifled a yawn of his own, darn it, yawns were contagious! "Well, a girl crashed into the pavement, she uh, fell from the sky."

Kella was wide awake in an instant. "Why are you telling me this?"

"She's injured, bring your longest bandage," Metron said.

Kella shrugged, disappearing into the bathroom adjoining her room. "I always do, especially when it comes to you guys."

"Don't be too surprised when you see her though, her appearance could be startling," Metron warned. Kella pushed him to the side, and slid out the window, perching on the rooftop with him.

"I've seen the real form of Empousi, I think I'll be fine," Kella said, smiling. "Lead the way."

Metron led Kella back to where he'd left Kora, and was unsurprised to find her in the exact same spot.

"Took you long enough, this your friend?"

"Does she understand English?" Kella asked Metron quietly.

"Yes she does," Kora replied, grinning at them, which was unnerving because of the two large fangs that were revealed.

"Sorry, didn't mean to be rude." Kella apologized, kneeling down next to the girl and pulling out her med kit. "What are you? Also, what's your name?"

"Kora, and I'm an old world Daemon. No offense taken by the way."

"So, Kora, where did you come from?" Kella asked, absentmindedly, wrapping the demon's leg in gauze.

"The hole in the sky, something's wrong with your entire reality, and it's opening breaches to other realities because it's trying to balance itself out."

Metron blinked. "What? There are other realities?"

"Well yeah, did you think the theory of the multiverse was untrue? Either way, apparently your world doesn't have any sister dimensions to draw upon, so it's dragging other realities into the equation." Kora looked irritated, and Metron was very confused. Kella wasn't paying any attention to the conversation.

"Is there a difference between realities and dimensions?"

"Yeah. It just had to be my universe though. I suppose mine has the biggest supply of magic, so it makes a little sense, but other than that, I'm a little irritated that I can't actually get back home this time. Usually, Secilia can use a series of Dimension Books to get me home, but not this time!" She was getting worked up, and Kella began to glow slightly calming the demon down slightly. "Sorry, just a little irritated being stuck in a world where almost no one will be able to understand me."

"Makes sense to me," Metron offered. "Could you explain more though?"

(A/N) And I have to get to sleep, so see ya! Sorry bout the cliff hanger, (Does that even count?) but it'll be rectified in another two days. bye!
