I've run out of chapter names
(A/N) So, with all the new stories, I'll only update this once a week. Sorry, not sorry. This is mostly just a filler by the way.
Kella was a deep sleeper. Apparently, that extended to when she was knocked out with sedatives. It took a good five minutes to wake her up, eventually, Emma woke her up forcibly.
"So, how'd you get here through a portal to the Ghost Zone?" Relyi asked. Warde snorted from his place skulking in the corner.
"Um, some evil people threw us in?" Emma said hesitantly. "I was only like, half awake during their conversation."
"Let me guess, Loreley's boss?" Ronan asked, his tail flicking behind him and his ears flattening against his head.
"Yeah, most likely. When she questioned him, he responded with 'I can, and will, send you back to Tartarus'."
"That sounds like a boss alright," Relyi said. "One question, what's Tartarus?"
"It's a pit where monsters live," Metron responded instantly. "It's the kind of place no one wants to go."
"Sounds interesting," Warde commented, looking bored.
"Warde," Relyi reprimanded. "So, is there a reason they were trying to get you guys out of the way?"
"They're trying to take over their town," Xenia explained. "It's no Camp Half-Blood or Camp Jupiter, but it's still a major location, protected by multiple magical families."
"You said multiple families, why didn't those families end up here too?" Relyi wondered.
"I think it's because the portal wouldn't be able to handle that many people. It's sparking right now, and only 10 people came through. Ronan alone has 13 siblings." Metron continued.
"14 kids, were they all born to the same two people?" Relyi asked.
"Yeah, shadow nekos have kids in litters. Ronan's littermates didn't make it to 6 months old."
"While this conversation is useful to you, we know this already, and we kinda need to get home. During the titan and giant wars, we acted as leaders for Ronan's, Illya's, and Elyse's families."
"That must be why; they're trying to cut the head off the snake," Warde said, rolling his eyes.
"I guess, but why didn't they just kill us?" Emma asked. "Celestial Bronze cuts through my armor, so they could actually kill me."
"Armor? I don't see any armor." Warde sneered.
Emma smirked at him. "You can't see it, because it's kinda invisible to most people."
"What, is it imaginary?" He retorted.
Emma suddenly grinned mischievously. "Hey, anyone got a weapon that isn't celestial bronze? And is really sharp?"
"Yeah, that knife I threw at you earlier. You shouldn't be affected, you aren't a ghost." Warde replied.
"I'm not a monster or a god, and celestial bronze still affects me, we don't know what your ectometal stuff does. I'd feel a lot safer if the weapon in question was normal steel or iron."
"Sorry, fresh out," he said.
"I got something," Kella twisted her charm bracelet, a quiver of arrows appearing on her back along with a bow. She pulled one out, the shiny metal giving it away as a mortal metal.
"Yep, that'll work." Emma took it from Kella, sliding it across her arm. The tip of the arrow skittered across something, sending up sparks. "It sends up sparks by the way."
"So, what exactly are you fighting?" Relyi asked.
"Senhir, ghosts, monsters, a couple of other things," Titos listed.
"No idea what a Senhir is, but okay."
"They're evil aliens," Emma volunteered.
"How big is this army?" Warde asked, suddenly interested.
"A couple thousand," Anete replied, stone-faced. "Probably with more on the way."
Emma wandered over to the portal thing while they talked, inspecting the sides. "Hey, did you know about this side thing?"
"What side thing?" Warde asked guardedly.
"This one." Emma pointed to a panel with several buttons on it, one marked Ghost Zone, the others marked with numbers. "Loreley's boss said to toss us in on setting four, perhaps that's the key to getting home."
"I think we should see if anyone is free to help us," Kora offered. "We could probably use the help."
"You're right, even if just the medics can help. We should check to see if Secilia's mom is free to help as well." Emma agreed.
"Just who are we talking about?" Ronan asked.
"With the amount of magic in your world, I think the Children of Camelot team would be acceptable, in addition to Sabanthia and the Elements team," Kora said, frowning. "We'll probably need either Secilia and Danny or you two for help with the ghosts."
"I agree, the rest of the demons and Fantasyverse team plus who's ever active at this time from the Elemental Protectors." Emma continued, adopting a thinking pose. "Plus, I've heard tell of a newer group, The Runaways I think they're calling them. A bunch of teens with an eight-year-old at their head."
"Okay, but how are you planning to get to all these other universes?" Relyi asked.
"I think that most of these numbers lead to another universe," Emma said, examining the numbers again. "Unfortunately, the C's are busy right now. Something about a field trip." She shrugged, shaking her head. "For one, I think setting four leads back to your guy's universe. I think it'd correspond."
"Anyone have a marker?" Kella wondered. Wordlessly, Warde handed her one, pulling one out of his tool belt. "Mark it," she called, tossing the marker to Emma.
Emma quickly uncapped it, but Kora stopped her. "No, you don't, I'm writing it there, you have terrible handwriting."
Emma pouted but handed the marker to Kora. "I'll go through first, if I end up stranded, I can always teleport back here."
"Come right back if anything goes wrong," Ronan said. "I'm not going to be the one to tell your brother you got hurt."
"He's really not that bad," Emma muttered, turning the machine to setting two. She grinned at them, backing into the portal.
(A/N) And yep, it's over! See you next Friday!
