"I wonder who taught him that lesson?" Rin questioned quietly. "It takes a lot to get through to Kakashi."

"That's the understatement of the year," Ebisu inputted.

Everyone laughed at this and watched as the scene changed.

The scene started with Kakashi sitting in a tree. "Alright. Confirm positions."

"Sasuke at point A."

"Sakura at point B."

"... Naruto at point C believe it!"

"Your a bit slow Naruto," Kakashi chided. "Now on my mark... 3...2...1... GO!"

The three Genin lunged for the cat and Naruto was the one to catch the demon. "I got her I got her- ow ow ow!" He yelled as the cat began to scratch at his face like there was no tomorrow.

"Confirm target, is there a red bow on the right ear?" Kakashi asked.

"Confirmed, we have caught Tora the cat," Sakura chirped.

The Genin in the room shivered. 

"So they're still doing that mission, eh?" Obito cringed.

"That cat is extremely unyouthful," Guy agreed.

Rin shivered. "That's no cat... it's a demon."

The Jonin sweat dropped. 'Is it really that bad?' They all thought.

"Great job team 7," Sarutobi praised.

"Hey look, the old geeser is still kicking," Obito laughed.

The old Hokage shuffled his papers around. "Now for your next mission... there's painting a fence, babysitting, planting potatoes, and-"

"NO!" Naruto yelled making an X with his arms. "These are all chores old man! I want a real mission!"

"Naruto Uzumaki!" Iruka yelleld. "That's no way to treat your Hokage!"

"Uzumaki?" Minato questioned. "I thought Kushina was the last one."

'Probably did it with Kushina.' Shikaku thought. 'But why is he called Uzumaki and not Namikaze?'

"Settle down Iruka," Sarutobi said. "Now Naruto, we give you these missions for a reason..." 

Kakashi stopped listening and began to listen to Naruto's speech on ramen. "And then I had to wait 10 whole minutes for the ramen to get done!"

Sarutobi sweat dropped at the sight of all of Team 7 listening to Naruto's speech. "Well if Kakashi deems you ready, I'll alow you a C rank."

"I believe they're ready," Kakashi said with an eye smile.

"I'm still wondering why he has one eye covered," Obito mumbled.

"Me as well," Minato inputted. "I wonder if something happened..."

"No time to dwell on it," Shikaku mumbled. "You about done Inoichi?"

"Actually yes," he said. "I'll take you back now!"

"Noooo," Obito wined. "I wanted to see what happened."

"Too late," Asuma laughed.

The scene changed and you could see Rin, Kakashi, and Obito running threw the woods with their sensei.

"Look guys!" Obito yelled. "There's me!"

"Shut up," Ebisu mumbled.

"Grouchy much," Obito yelled sticking his tongue out.

"Now we'll only see what's important to Kakashi so there might be some random time skips," Inoichi explained. "It was set to random earlier, but I changed it."

"Okay thanks Inoichi," Minato said with a smile.

"Okay I'm going to split up with you guys here," Minato said. "Kakashi, since you're a Jonin now, you're the squad leader."

"Right," Kakashi said seriously.

"Remember, this mission could end the war," Minato said seriously. "I'm counting on you."

"We won't let you down sensei," Obito said with a thumbs up.

The scene changed and you could see Obito and Kakashi fighting some enemy shinobi. 

"Gah!" Kakashi yelled as his eye was sliced.

"Well, there's your answer," Rin said quietly. She was really worried about her friend.

At the sight of blood, Obito's eyes changed and he stabbed the invisibal shinobi behind him.

"Obito... your eyes," Kakashi said.

"WOW," Obito yelled. "I unlocked my sharingan!" His face hardened. "Now we need to go save Rin."

"What happened to me?" Rin questioned.

"You know we can't do that," Kakashi said. 

"I know about your father Kakashi,' Obito said suddenly. "I know he's the reason why you follow the rules like you do."

"How did you?" Kakashi started before he was cut off.

"But I also think that he was a honorable man," he turned to Kakashi. "I believe that those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum."

"Wow..." Asuma muttered. "He learned that from you."

"What happened to his father Minato sensei?" Rin asked.

"Are you guys familiar with the White Fang of the Leaf?" Minato asked.

"Yeah... are you saying that he was Kakashi's father?" Obito asked quietly.

"Yes, he had a decision on a mission to save his friends life or complete the mission. He chose to save friends life and failed the mission. When he returned home, he was ridiculed for it- even by the so called friend he saved. He eventually comited suicide and Kakashi was the one to find him," Minato explained grimly.

"Oh," was all they could say.

Obito jumped off and Kakashi followed behind. They found there way to a gave and they saw Rin under a Genjutsu. "Release," Kakashi said putting his finger on her forehead.

"Wha- what happened?" she asked. 

"No time to explain," Kakashi stated. "Let's get out of here."

"Look, it's those little brats that killed my comrad," a rock shinobi sneared. "You're going to pay."

The cave began to collasp and they made a run for it. Kakashi unfortunately got hit on his blind side and fell. Obito seeing this, he grabbed Kakashi and threw him before he was hit by the rocks.

"Obito," Kakashi screamed.

They ran into the cave after it was done collasping and found Obito half crushed underneath a rock.

"WHERE WAS I WHEN THIS HAPPENED?!" Minato screamed.

Rin began to cry.

Kakashi made an attempt to push the rock off of Obito, but it was in vain.

"It's no use Kakashi," Obito rasped. "The whole right side of my body is completely crushed." Obito paused to cough. "I don't think I'm going to make it."

"Don't say that- RIN!" Kakashi yelled in desperation.

"Right!" she said as she tried to heal him.

"You know," Obito started. "I never got you a gift for becoming a Jonin." He turned to Rin. "I want you to give Kakashi my Sharingan."

"Right, we got to make this quick Kakashi," Rin said crying.

"No no, you can't!" he wailed. "Your going to live okay!"

"Rin, do it," Obito coughed harshly. "Take care of Rin for me Kakashi."

All the people present in the room were crying. Even Shikaku.

"I... die?" Obito said softly. "No wonder I didn't see myself in the future."

"How could I let this happen?" Minato said in remorse.

"Kakashi..." Rin said.

"I don't believe it," Kurenai spoke for the first time.

The scene changed and you could see Rin and Kakashi running through the woods with enemy shinobi.

"Kakashi," Rin said stopping.

"What is it Rin," Kakashi said in a hurry. "We need to keep going! We don't stand a chance against this kind of numbers!"

"No Kakashi listen to me!" Rin said. "You need to kill me now."

"WHAT!" Obito yelled.

"Where did that come from?" Asuma questioned.

"I can't do that Rin," Kakashi stated. "I don't know why you want me to do that but I promised Obito that I would take care of you!"

"You don't understand Kakashi!" She said. "They put something bad in me... I don't know what but it's bad! You need to kill me now."

The enemy shinobi caught up and Kakashi engaged. He activated his Chidori and ran at the enemy. Before he could stab them however, Rin ran into the line of fire dying instantly. 

"Why did you do that Rin?!" Obito questioned with tears streaming down his face.

Rin just stared in shock. She didn't know why she did that, but she knew for a fact that she wasn't suicidal. There must have been a good reason, right?

"My students," Minato said quietly.

The scene change and you could see the nine tailed fox destroying Konoha. Minato appeared in front of Kakashi and handed him Naruto. "Watch my son Naruto for me, I'll be right back."

"Wait, sensei-" Kakashi started to say, but he disapearred in a yellow flash.

There was a time skip and you could see Minato making a seal on Naruto.

"Is that what I think it is," Shikaku said leaning forward. 

"Great, now I'm going to die too," Minato mumbled below his breath.

"4th Hokage," a random shinobi yelled. "Don't do it!"

"I become the 4th Hokage!" Minato said in disbelief.

"Then why was the 3rd sitting in the Hokages office?" Kurenai asked confused.

Right before Minato could finish the seal, a claw came out of the chains that Kushina had the nine tails in, tried to stab Naruto. Luckily- if you can call it luck- Minato and Kushina got in the way and died sealing the nine tails in Naruto.
