I sigh as I look down, my hands have completely disappeared now. 

I'll be back in that dismal grey world again soon.

But that doesn't matter. Looking up I see that Jessica is still not speaking to Alisha or Arianna, the pair of them still ignoring her. At least she has her other friends to talk to.

"Cassidy!" She yells, running over to a girl with her hair in a short ginger ponytail. "Look at this!"

"Let's see Jess!" Cassidy laughs trying to pry the object from Jessica's hands.

"Nu-uh! Not until Lars looks up from his book." Jessica quips, as said boy looks up.

"What is it, Jessica, can you not see that I'm trying to read?" He asks, rolling his eyes.

"Lame!" Jessica scoffs. "Whatever, I wanted to show you this."

She reveals a small necklace that was hiding in the palm of her hand. "Mum gave it me for my birthday! Isn't just lovely?" She giggles, her hair bouncing as she throws her head back, her eyes shut tight and er laughter echoing around the playground. I wish I could still talk to her and make her laugh, but I guess that won't happen anymore after all.

She jumps to her feet and runs off, her giggling dancing through the wind as she runs. She still has that same energy she did when she was really little. One thing that will never change.

She rushes back carrying a small bag, then hands it to Cassidy. "One for you!"

Cassidy opens it and squeals. "I love it!" She tightly hugs Jessica and giggles "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"Jessica?" A familiar voice pipes up.

Both me and Jessica turn around. Before us stands Arianna and Alisha.

"What do you two want?" Jessica mumbles, crossing her arms. 

"We're sorry..." Alisha whispers, her eyes tearing up.

"I forgive.. I sippose.." Jessica mumbles. 

"Really?" The two girls grin.

Jessica nods, holding her arms out for a hug. I smile as I watch them, at least everyone's getting along again.

If only I could join in on the fun...
