ben as banquo: because he's the voice of reason. has literally calmed everyone down at some point probably (kora and dylan mostly). also he believes in no-no murder like banquo, who doesn't think killing was the answer. unless someone hurts kora then everything will be on fire oopsie @ me

montel as macduff: the whole reason macduff murders macbeth is IN RETALIATION. this is literally such a montel way to vibe so that's why he's macduff. also macduff comes late and doesn't really know what's going on and just knows he's mad at macbeth and montel doesn't know what's happening bc he's dumb and can't read so princess-myrah
