Jungkook PoV

The country house is one of the rarest places my family and I go to. 

My grandmother told me it's a good place to relax and think things through. There's an internet cafe nearby the house, so I walk to it every 4 in the afternoon to check my Kakao messages then quickly leave. 

I've been here for 5 additional days since I've moved away from Seoul. 

Rachel frequently sends me messages in Kakao, telling me her daily updates about Jiyoon and Chaeyoung. 

Apparently, Chaeyoung has been out with the Junhoe man. They've  been to parks, go out on dates and all the couple activities. 

While Jiyoon is staying with Jennie. Rachel told me that Jennie told Jiyoon about it. When she told me about her conversation with Jennie, all she could reply was that Jiyoon is not gonna grow up with an ignorant mother and a stupid man. 

For my hyungs, Rachel told me that they have been searching for me around Seoul. Which made me feel guilty because I'm somewhere in the outskirts of Busan. 

It seems like Il-Do did well on lying to my friends. But all he knows is that I'm with our grandmother, and not in our country house. 

He's been covering my job while I'm away. And it's been a week. 

When do I plan to come back? After a year? That can't be, because I have a job to full-fill. 

I stood up from the dining chair and washed the dishes. 

After that, I sat on the couch and continued reading The Fault in Our Stars. Reading has been my recreational activity, as well as walking in the neighborhood and talking to the people who walked around.

Most were old people, enjoying retirement in the country. 

Or I'd watch the see from the balcony and relax. Think things through, and not rush. 

After finishing a chapter, there was knocks on my door. 

When I opened the door, I found Cole standing in front of me. Looking worried and full with sweat. 

"Jeon Jungkook," he said and hugged me. 

Outside, I saw his black motorcycle parked in front of the country house. He's probably done investigating about Chaeyoung and Jiyoon, which took him months to do so. But who cares? It's all useless, he can throw the report away. 

Cole released the hug and checked me. 

"You're not hurt, are you?" he asked.

I shook my head, "No. I'm fine, how did you find me?"

"I'm Cole, Sir Jeon," he laughed. 

"Come in first, I don't want the neighbors to notice who I am."

I let Cole in and we took a seat in the dining table. 

He exhaled deeply, "I saw Ms. Park, now I don't want to mention her name as much as you do. You know me, whoever is your enemy is my enemy."

I chuckled, "It's okay, go ahead and talk."

"Your hyungs have been looking all over Seoul, Il-Do is starting to get worried, and your father just knows your taking a short break. While she barely has any clues on what's happening," he told me. "I'm a bit worried about you, Jungkook. This is like Ms. Yuri's death version 2."

"Except worse," he added. 

"I don't know when I'm coming back, too. I will go back to Seoul, that's for sure. But not now, not yet."

He put his hand on my shoulder, "Your name is in the news. Reporters want to see you. It's good you're safely tucked here, but you need to push forward, Jungkook. You're stronger than that. If you want to fight for Ms. Park, and if I have to say it again, fight for her."

I just stared at Cole. 

"For me, the Junhoe guy is using her for fame. She's a pretty famous doctor now, and not to mention that she's friends with one of the richest company Presidents," Cole continued. "But Jungkook, staying here will make you hurt more."

"What do you mean? Isn't it supposed to make me heal?" 

He shook his head, "Staying means you want to be with her. And being with her, imaginarily, hurts more than seeing her. It's gonna hurt when you see her with another man, but it's gonna hurt more when you're gonna try to distance yourself from a person you love most. So, come back, and stop making everybody worry."

"Bambam and Yugyeom thought you suicided but there were no news, so they still hoped," he continued. "And the night sky picture, you wished she would understand it, right?"

I nodded, with a small frown. 

Everybody knows that I like romantic night walks. And every time I'd talk about it, I always specify that the sky should be clear, and filled with stars. That picture was taken 2 years ago when I came to visit Busan. 

"It didn't take me less than a minute to understand, that was easy," Cole laughed. 

I laughed as well. 

"So, are you going back to Seoul?"  he asked. "I can keep it a secret that you're here, visit you every Friday and go back on a Saturday."

"Ani," I quickly said. "I'll go back, give me 2 days to decide and think, after that I'll go back. Only Il-Do should know about this."

Cole's eyes soften, "That's the Jungkook I remembered. Anyways, I found a small inn nearby, I'll stay there and go back by the morning, tell Il-Do about this. Make sure to come back by 2 days, or else I'll tell everyone where you are."

"Alright, Cole, you don't have to be Dongie-hyung version 2!" I complained. 

I pushed him out to the door, and he told me that he has one last news to tell me before leaving the country house. 

"It's a shocking news, and all I want you to do is brace yourself for whatever it is," he smiled. "And whatever happens, I'm always in your side, Sir Jeon."

"Thanks for always being there Cole, but for sure, whatever that news is, I'm surely able to handle it," I smiled. "Now, go! I need sleep!"

2 days won't be enough for me to think of what I should do, but it's enough for me to realize...

That I'm still madly in love with her.

i love Junhoe guys but i had to make him the antagonist. 

all i can say right now is that,

Chaeyoung needs to stop being blind!!!
