Chapter nine: Accusations are the worst

Monday mornings are just the worst. I woke up, feeling like i had a hang over and i haven't even drank since the party. And my ribs are killing me. I walked up to the mirror after contemplating whether to go to school or not. But sadly, I have to. I brought my top up over my head and stared at the massive bruise i had on my ribs, it was a purplie green. Great and i have gym today. I had to put alot of makeup on to try and cover my mess on my jaw that luke had given me.

I didnt even look at my reflection yesterday i just stayed in bed. After staring at my reflection, i decided i needed a shower. After ten mins of scrubbing my hair and body i got out and chose my clothes for today. I picked out a black and white jumper top that showed a little bit of my stomach. A black pair of jeans, accompanied with my black vans. I blowdryed and curled my hair, then left my hair down. Put on my beanie and i was set. I gave up on baggy clothes, if you didnt notice.

I put on some makeup to cover my bruise and put on some eyeshadow. Then put my glasses on. To be honest, today i really couldnt be bothered with the 'im a nerd act'. I didnt look like a nerd, and didnt want to look like one.

After i was done, i ran down stairs and grabed my redbull like usual. I said goodbye to my dad, after he wrote me a note to get out of gym, then walked to school. On the way to school, i heard a car beep. Some lads started wolf whistling. Turning around, i scowled and flipped them off. The car soon stopped, and someone shouted to me. "Hey sexy want a ride to school." As i walked up to the window i noticed it was trace that shouted to me.

"What do you want hun." I said as i made my way to the passengers window.

"Wait, cupcake thats you. You look...different." Hunter now spoke up.

"Yeah well, i couldnt be bothered this morning." I said rolling my eyes.

"I can see that, redbull at this time in the morning." Hunter giggled.

"Well, i need energy to get though a whole day of hell, dont i." I said laughing a little.

"come on get in youll be late." Luke said smiling at me.

"fine move up." I said smiling back.

As we parked in the schools parking lot and got out of the car, there was lots of people staring at us. Well mostly at me. I was getting scowls from all the girls. "Iv got to go, i need to find my friends, thanks for ride." I smiled, walking away waving.

As i got into gym, i noticed belle. "Hey belle, how are you?" I said making my way to her.

"Good thanks, where did you go after the fight?" She asked me.

"Long story, i ended up at a friends." I said smiling back.

"Okaii, how comes you came with hunter today." She asked still smiling.

" He picked me up while i was walking to school." I vaguely explained.

"Okaii, how comes your not getting dressed." She asked this time.

"i fell down the stairs and hurt my ribs, dont tell anyone though because i dont want people laughing at my stupidity." I lied.

"Okaii" is all she said.

After we got into the gym i gave my teacher the note and sat on the bleachers. I noticed that alot of people was whispering and staring at me. "What are yous looking at." I nearly shouted but in stead rolled my eyes and said in a bored tone.

"Who are you? And wheres the nerd?" Hunter asked amused.

"Shes gone to hell and then I got thrown out." I said laughing slightly.

People was giving us weird looks including belle, hell even the teacher was looking at us weirdly. "What?" I asked to no one in general.

"Okaii, seriously what happened after the party and why is hunter talking to you, giving you rides. He doesnt talk to anyone other then his friends. Did yous hook up or somthing?" Belle exploded.

"For starters, What no eww, i told you i went and stayed at a friends. I can talk to hunter, if he talks to me, nothing happened between us, why would you think that?" I said looking angry. I turned and walked out of gym. Im not getting accused if something that hasn't happened nor never will.

"Wait sky, i didn't mean to blow up on you I'm sorry, i shouldn't of accused you of them things, i know your not like that. Im sorry" shouted belle running after me.

"Whatever bell." I said walking off. I walk through to the parking lot and hop on my bike, im not feeling like going back to school today. 

Once home, i pick my leather jacket up and change into some nike trainers. Picking up a redbull, i made my way to my bike and set off to the gangs house.

"Ayy bitches, the queen is backkkk." I shouted dragging out the k as i walked into our house.

"What the fuck sky, why are you here?" Ryan asked looking concerned and guilty? Shit i forgot i was mad at them.

"Thought id drop in and say hi, you know what never mind." I said slamming the door on my way out. I then drove to skating ring. Remembering all the times i used to go here with my mum and dad. God i miss mum so much. She allways knew how to cheer me up. She encouraged me to do so many things. Like ice skating, gymnastics and swimming to other stuff like helping my grandad fix cars and motors. God i need to see him soon too and nanma. Ima get them down soon, get dad to let them stay in the guest room.

After i payed for a session at the rink and borrowed some skates, i was on the ice. Gracefully skating around strangers and dodging out of the way of people who cant skate. I felt all my anxiety disparate. I felt like i was skating with mum. Doing my twists and jumps perfect like she thought me. I felt like she was still with me. I could imagine her skating next to me clapping and telling me how proud she was. She was more then a mother to me, she was my best friend.

After skating for a few good hours i headed to the gym. I practiced my jabbing and taking my frustration out on the punching bag. I swiftly kicked it, then jabbing it. After a half a hour, i stopped to have a rest and drink. "Hey there pretty lady, whats a scrawny girl like you doing here?" A tall bloke, who looked in his early 30s with dark hair and green eyes, smirked at me.

"Im here to kick your arse, if you dont fuck off." I growled at him.

"Like to see you try." He then whispered back, still smirking.

"What me." I whispered back. A small smile creeping onto my face.

As we got into the middle of the room, where the mist space was, we got into positions. Me in fighting stance and him in defence."You can take first hit, if youd like?" He said mockingly. Strait after he finished his sentence, i jawed him, then rib shotted him. While he was doubled over, i got behind him and swiftly dropped into a crouch sliding my foot under his nocking him forwards.

I took this chance and grabbed his wrist, bending it upwards towards his shoulder and kept a knee on his back so he couldn't move. "Dont test my patience ever again." I growled at him, before taking my knee and hands off him. I gave him my hand to help him up.

"wow your really good." He whispered again to me. What is it with him and whispering.

"Thanks." I muttered back.

"You should get into fighting at this pub i know." He now asked, staring at me with... amazement? "I already go somewhere actually." I said back smiling.

"my names drew, well drewland but most people call me drew." Drew said back smiling.

I stuck my hand out, so he could shake it. "My names skylar, but call me sky." I replied smiling.

"anywyas iv got to ho back to school." I said back laughing.

"Okaii, do you know my son, hunter?" He said back still smiling. Hunter as in hun, well now i can see the resemblence. Tall, dark hair, emerald green eyes.

"Yeah, i beat him in gym." I said back laughing a little.

He stifled a laugh. "Oh so your the girl, well you must be good them, we both got our arse landed to a girl." He said back laughing. "Well say hi for me." He said before waving goodbye.

"Bye." I said heading back to school.
