"Say you're sorry"

Kate gripped the boy's shirt as she pinned him against the wall harshly, glaring daggers into his soul with a scowl on her face.

"I'm sorry!" The boy squeaked in utter fear under Kate's intense glare. The colour draining from his face and it was obvious that he was shaking...and peeing.

"And what are you sorry for?" Kate growled, banging him against the wall again.
"For saying you're a freak!" The boy yelped, feeling his head start to hurt from it being banged against the wall. Brick wall.
Kate had one hand gripping the boy's shirt and her other one basically around his throat.

At the start of recess, Kate was minding her own business outside when this boy yelled "FREAK!" at her and...Kate didn't take it well. This is the fourth time today and it's only recess!

"And what am I again?" Kate demanded, lowering her brows as she continued to stare dauntly at him.
"P-pretty and nice!" The boy gulped, sweat falling down his forehead with his eyes looking like saucers due to how wide they were.

"Thank you, now, the next time--"

Kate was interrupted when a sudden yell tore through the entire courtyard making Kate realise the boy who quickly scurried away, possibly putting sonic to shame as loud sobs came from him. 
"What the actual heck?" Kate muttered as she looked around the area in annoyance.

She immediately got her answer when she heard,
"A Daxial Array is not a band!"

'oh come on' Kate thought as she spotted her answer across the area. It was the new boy again as it looked like he was yelling at two boys. Like he can top Kate in yelling at people.
The new boy then turned around, yelling out more as people who walked by gave him a weird look.

"It is a critical piece of technology!" He shouted as Kate basically had enough of his yelling as she began walking towards him. Why are people always so noisy? It hurts her ears so much.

"Oi, dude" Kate called as the new boy turned around to see Kate walking up to him, he felt his breath hitch again.
"Listen, stop with your yelling. You're embarrassing yourself more than ever, if it's tech then the science lab will have it" Kate told him.

The boy stared at Kate in silence for a few seconds making her a bit uncomfortable before the boy muttered something to himself, something sounding like, Klub or something with a red face.

Before he suddenly lunged forward just as Eli Pepperjack was walking by and he suddenly grabbed Eli by his bag.
"Ai-ee!" Kate watched as her eyes widen a second. Who does this boy think he is!?

"You will take me to the leader of the science lab. Now!" He demanded.
"Dude!" Kate exclaimed as she quickly grabbed the dude's arm, gripping it tightly as she pulled it away from Eli. She glared at him as the boy looked at her in slight shock, his red face growing brighter. 
"Eli will take you there, I'm coming as well" Kate said, shoving the boy's arm away.

Eli and Kate took the two newbies to the science lab as both of them just barged in and started exploring the whole lab while Kate and Eli stood by the door. Why is Kate even here? Why did she say that she'll come if she hates people?

Kate crossed her arms and leaned on the door, watching the two newbies carefully.
"What type of country is Cantaloupia, anyway?" Eli suddenly asked as Kate looked at him in confusion. Canta-what?

"Cantaloupia? What the heck is that?" She asked him.
"It's where the new kids come from" Eli told her as Kate scoffed.
"I've never heard of that place before. Sounds stupid much stupider than the name, Kaliac, I've been hearing in my head" she muttered the last part. It's true, lately, she's been hearing the words, 'Kaliac....Kaliac....Kaliac...' Repeating in her head.

Eli began following the blond one with Kate groaning loudly and following behind him.
"Are you guys adopted?" Eli asked, earning a slap from Kate. "Ow!"
"No" the girl simply said.

"Then why do you look, um, different?" Eli asked.
"You ask way too much questions, dude. No wonder you're not popular"

"Different? What do you mean? Mother made sure we look just like you" The blond said, running her hands over the counter as she then sat on it next to the 'fake' skeleton Kate once brought in for a project.
Kate looked at her in suspicion.

That's when they heard a sudden bang coming from the other side of the lab as the three of them looked over to see the boy holding a piece of technology from a machine, looking unimpressed for some reason.

"Your technology is beyond primitive" he spoke with a scoff.
"What do you mean, 'your technology'?" Kate asked him, getting more suspicious as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Do you always ask this many questions, humans?" The blond asked, looking into the eye sockets of the skeleton with curiosity.
"Only when I'm suspicious" Eli said, pushing his glasses up when Kate suddenly spoke.

"Señor Uhl's here" she said.
"Huh!?" Eli jumped just as they heard a shout coming from the open door.

Kate was right, it WAS Señor Uhl who was just slipping towards the door. Señor Uhl is another old scumbag of a teacher, he's the substitute principal and the language teacher. He's the one who always gives Kate her detentions, suspensions and sending her home when she's in trouble.
"¿Que pasa¿ What's going on here?" He demanded, walking straight in as Eli yelped in fear but Kate just stood there, anamused. Always has to ruin the fun.

"That one is interrogating us" The blond pointed at Eli, "and that one is being undoubtedly rude" She then pointed at Kate who scoffed.
"I'm not that bad" she said to her.

"And I am trying to locate a Daxial Array which is not a band of any kind" The boy said, still mucking around with the machine and wires.
"Yeah, I think we know since you yelled it outside" Kate muttered, rolling her eyes. The boy looked at her again.

"You're not supposed to be here unsupervised" Señor Uhl snarled, pointing at them but then his eyes landed on Kate.
"Ah, Señorita Kate. I know you're behind this, why are you here? You're supposed to be taking suspension!" Señor Uhl asked her, furrowing his brows at her.

"Goddamn, I'm just here for the free payroll, duh" She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes again. She could of swore she saw Señor Uhl's eye twitch.

"Students are not supposed--" he started then groaned in annoyance, "I want to speak with your parents. Tonight, six O'clock, sharp" he commanded, pointing at them as Kate frowned. Is he serious!? Is he dumb!?

The blond looked at Kate just as she gulped and she could of swore that she can see a different emotion in her pink eyes, making her cock a brow.

Señor Uhl turned around to leave, "I want to meet them. Both parents" he said before pointing at Kate, "Señorita Kate, I know you don't have parents so I want to speak to your brother instead" he told her as Kate had more of a frown.
"Great way to phrase it, Sir" Kate said, darkly.

Señor Uhl left finally as Kate began playing with her necklace that was hanging around her neck. The gem shining brightly in the light and creating a luminous pink flare on the windows.

She didn't notice that the twins were now standing in front of her in curiosity, questioning about what Señor Uhl said. They looked at Kate's face for a minute, noting that her eyes changed when Señor Uhl mentioned, 'Parents'. From a confidential shine to a dull and deep flare.

"So" The blond spoke as Kate jumped.
"Fraz!"
"Why can't your parents come? Are they suffering a disease?" She asked Kate who frowned.
"...It's really none of your business. They...just can't, okay?" Kate told them, they noticed that her tone was less cheeky and more quieter.

"Really? Well, if you want to talk then you can! Just to say that...I'm Aja Tarron and this is my little brother, Krel Tarron" the girl now known as Aja said, gesturing to herself then to her brother.

Those names....those names just made Kate's heart drop, they sound so...familiar! Kate's eyes widen a tiny bit.

She scoffed, shaking off that thought, "...Name's Kate" She spoke, feeling her stomach go mushy for a second before returning back to normal.
"Aja...Krel. Got it" she said, looking at them before she started walking past them, "I'm getting out of here before I get in trouble again" she said, casually. Feeling the twins' stares on her as she walked out of the lab.

Aja Tarron and Krel Tarron...there's no way she's forgetting those names.
