On George
I don't know, but I just feel like talking about George. And how frickin awesome he is.
*insert dreamy sigh*
I was just reading "I Me Mine" the other day and I was like, "Wow, George is more normal than I thought. He's not like this insane celebrity." Like, he's so... kind. And lovable. And sweet. For example he wrote the song "Mo" for Mo Ostin, who loved George's work. Who would do that, though? That's so incredibly sweet of him.
And not to mention one of the greatest charity concerts of the century- The Concert For Bangladesh. And did you guys see the soundcheck rehearsal where Bob and George played "If Not For You"? I was just watching the video and thinking how... sort of... warm I feel when I see George. You know what I mean? I can feel the sort of positive vibe off him even though he's not actually there in person.
This calls for a bit of George spam. Then I want to talk more about George again, cuz he's awesome.
I hate it when people say that Bob can't sing because he bloody well can.
This is one of those pictures where I can almost feel like a good sort of energy. I don't really know how to explain it.
It's probably just love.
BUT LIKE HIS EYES ARE SO BEAUTIFUL I WANNA HUG HIM SO BAD
Tom Petty said that George was a great hugger. I really would've loved to hug him to find out if he was right or not.
Also, apparently he basically hand sandalwood incense all over Crackerbox Palace and always smelled like sandalwood. That just makes him feel even more real, and I want to meet him more and more...
LOOK AT HIS LIL HAT HE'S SO ADORABLE
Idk why but this picture makes me laugh. Like, dude, he looks so lovable and innocent and then you see one of those creepy garden gnomes poking out of his jacket. For some reason it makes me think of this picture:
Lol anyway on with more spam:
Ah, he's so goofy- I don't think he's quiet or shy at all :)
Okay, but totally random- one of George's favourite sayings was: "When life lets you down, relax with a cup of Ovaltine." I swear I laughed so hard after reading that in "I Me Mine."
This reminds me of the time that I daydreamed that during math class, 1967 George showed up at the door and we literally blasted "Drive My Car" while driving in his Mini. And then I woke up and realized I hadn't studied for my math test.
BUT ISN'T HE SO CUTE IN THIS PHOTO
HIS SMILE
SWEETEST DUDE EVER
One of the best things about George is his smile. And when his eyes smile, too. It's weird to describe it, but... ah man, I just can't explain it.
Maybe I can, actually.
I love George. So. Frickin. Much.
