Sicheng walked down the halls feeling down. This morning his father hit him calling his worthless. Normally it wouldn't bother him, but this was the first time his father had hit him. He now had a bruise on his cheek and didn't have anything to cover it.

Sicheng made his way to his first class. He walked to his seat passing Yuta, Taeyong, Hansol, and Haechan, who were all members of NCT.

"What happened to you face?" Doyoung asked when Sicheng sat next to him.

"It's nothing," Sicheng lied. "I just fell down the stairs."

"Are you sure? Maybe you should go home."

"No! I'm fine."

Sicheng didn't want to go home. He didn't want to run into his father in case he decided to hit him again.

"Okay. You don't have to get all bitchy. I'm just trying to be a good friend."

"What are you two losers talking about?"

Sicheng and Doyoung look to the front at Yuta and his gang. They all had sly smirks like they were up to something.

"We're were just talking about how Sicheng fell down the stairs and how he should probably go home," Doyoung says being a clueless idiot.

No matter how many times NCT would make fun of and pick on them, Doyoung was to stupid to see it. He always saw it as a friendly thing teens do. Sicheng sometimes wonders if the poor kid even has a brain.

"Cause the dumb ass doesn't know how to walk," Yuta says. "You damn cults."

"He does to," Doyoung says. "It was probably when he first woke up and wasn't fully awake. He said he's fine. Just a bruise. He'll live."

"A bruise?"

Yuta then gets up and moves over to Sicheng. He grabbed him by his chin and took a look at the bruise on his face.

Sicheng began to feel nervous as Yuta looked at him. This is the closes the two had ever been.

"That is not a bruise you get from falling down the god damn stairs," Yuta finally said. "How'd you really get that?"

Before Sicheng could come up with another lie, the teacher came in and told everyone to take their seats.
