*Two Days Later*

I just finished helping Em with the dishes after lunch, and everyone was watching football in the living room. I went back to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

After filling the glass up I turn around to head back to the living room when the glass slips from my hands. I try to reach out and catch it with my hand, but I miss and the glass shatters, but I'm not focused on that. What I'm focused on is the water that is suspended in midair where the glass should be in the middle of my hand...

"Lottie are you- what the hell...?" I realize it's Paul but I keep my eyes and my focus on the water.

"I have no idea." I'm able to mutter out. I hear a couple more foot steps run towards the kitchen as I straighten out still keeping the water up.

"What the hell?!"

"Woah, how is that possible?"

And other comments come from the boys direction and I realize the whole pack is trying to see what's going on. I've never been able to do this before... Wait except the first time I met Paul and I sprayed those girls even though I had no idea how I did it then, but it all makes sense now.

"What's going on?" Sam pushes his way to the front and I lose my focus and the water splashes on the floor, and I'm snapped out of my trance like state.

"Um, Scarlett just made water float in midair." Says Seth since everyone is still in a sort of shock I did that.

I'm so confused right now, is this why I healed so fast? Where did this come from, it's never been in any of the legends?

"Seriously?"

"Um, yeah. I tryed to grab my glass cuz it slipped out of my hand, but instead the glass shattered and the water stayed put."

Sam looks like he's thinking hard, almost like he's heard about this somewhere. Then he turns to the counter and grabs a small scrap of paper and gives it to me.

"Wha-?"

"Burn it." Is he crazy? I can't burn paper?!

"What? I can't-"

"Burn it." Thanks for letting me talk Sam...

So I take the paper and place it in the palm of my hand and focus all my energy on making it burn. Burn... Burn you stupid piece of paper!

"Don't try so hard Scarlett. Just focus." I scowl at Sam, coz it's that easy...

I look at the paper again and this time I visualize it burning, then sure enough it bursts into flames, but doesn't hurt me.

"Holy shit!" Jared and I say at the same time-yay for twin powers!

Everyone else is just staring at the now pile of ashes in the palm of my hand., they all look shocked except Sam he seems to know what happened....?

"Sam what the hell just happened?!" I asked slightly weirded out coz normal people don't burn paper or catch water in midair!

"C'mon we need to go speak with Billy." Sorry. Not a good enough answer.

"Sam. You know something about this so why won't you just tell me!"

Now I'm not one with a temper unless you really piss me off, and right now Sam is doing just that! I feel my finger tips start to get really warm so I look down and they're sparking, like my fingers are about to catch fire!

Well I don't need that to happen so I clench my hands into fists, luckily no one has noticed!

"I'm not completely sure, but I have my ideas but we need to talk to Billy because he will know for sure."

"Ugh, fine." So we all follow Sam out of his house and walk down to Billy's, on the way there I try to get fire to go off in my hand again.

So I just try to visualize fire in my palm and sure enough a flame appears there, haha I feel like the human torch from the Fantastic 4, "Flame on!" haha....no? Okay.

"Shit Scar! Don't do that!" ha I'm freaking Jared out.

"Why not dear brother? It's fun! I have to practice anyways!" He's just staring at the flame wide eyed, it's quite funny really.

"It's still freaky! I mean seeing a flame in my sisters hand isn't normal!"

"Ha! Since when was I ever normal Jare?"

"She has a point there!" Jake chimes in so I shoot him a playfull glare while sticking my tongue out at him, and he does it right back!

"Way to be mature guys. But seriously Scarlett, you don't wanna do that out in public." Sam says with a slight smile, ha score for Scar! So I put it out, just in time to coz we're at the house.

"Dad! The packs here!" Nice Jake, just give your dad a heart attack granted Billy should be used to it, we're always here.

"Hello Sam, pack." Billy says with a smile while rolling into the dinning room where we all are. We all say our hi's back.

Billy has always been a father figure to me every since our parents left town, and Jake and I have been friends since diapers but ya know.

"What can I do for ya Sam?"

"Well I was wondering if you knew of any legends of someone who can influence the elements?" Way to be subtle I thought, but then Billy glanced at me almost expecting it to be me.

"There is a story, but it doesn't tell us much. They're called Elementals but there has only ever been one true Elemental and that was Taha Aki's daughter."

"Wait, I didn't know he had a daughter??"

"It's not nice to interupt Jacob!"

"Whatever!" Sticking his tongue out at me while I laugh a bit.

"It's because I've never told this story because like I said she was the only one who has ever been recorded to have these powers. His daughter fought along side the pack because of her influence over the elements, she was able to burn the Cold Ones and be able to protect the pack." We all sit a little closer, listening to a story we've never heard before.

"Along with the powers she had the ability to heal fast like her brothers," At this Jared and Paul both glance at me. "That was the only thing that was noticeable, that she wasn't human. Cold Ones and Pale Faces couldn't tell that she was any different which protected her from those Cold Ones that ended up killing her brother and father. She was also immortal like the wolves until she no longer used her powers."

"There hasn't been any other record of an Elemental, but I'm guessing you have a reason for asking Sam?"

"Well from what you've just told us, I'm pretty sure we have an Elemental in the pack." And Sam looks at me and Billy follows his gaze and gives me a slight smile in which I return.

"You positive Sam? What makes you say that? There hasn't been one in ages."

"Oh I'm sure. I've seen Scarlett heal almost as fast as we do and we just witnessed her control both fire and water." Sam says with a proud smile on his face, poor Jare flinched when he brought up the healing though..

"Really?! Do you mind showing me Scarlett?" I nodded and went to pour a glass of water and came back and set it on the table.

I focused on bringing the water into my hand and sure enough a big drop of water came out of the glass and followed my hand.

Jake wasn't paying attention so I moved my hand in his direction and the drop obeyed resting right above his head and then I let it drop.

"AHHH!!! What the hell was that?!" The entire pack started laughing even Billy and Sam, but then I got a lovely death glare from a soaking Jake. "You're dead Cameron!"

"Oooh I'm so scared Black! Whatcha gonna do?!" He started to run after me, but of course we can't have any fun, 'we're on serious pack matters' psh yeah whatever.

"Not now you two!" Sam uses his alpha voice (yayy..sarcasm), so we stop and wait for what Billy has to say.

"Well obviously you have the powers and Sam mentioned you healing quickly? Do you mind telling me what you had to heal from?" You could tell everyone hated this question, you could feel the tention in the tiny little room.

"Um, well I was trying to break up a fight between these two idiots," pointing to both Jared and Paul, "and I didn't get out of the way fast enough and well..." I lifted up my shirt to show Billy the long scars watching as the boys all flinch.

"Well that's definitely interesting to have an Elemental on the reservation after not having any, you'll come in handy if we ever have to battle more Cold Ones."

Little did we all know that the red headed leech was building an army to come our way..
