~The Evil Brothers~

"Hey girls! Come check this out!" Laura yells across the library, as she retrieves a weird colorful book consisting of 4 colors.

The three other girls, Yume, Ako, and Koharu, peek out from the other book shelves and walk towards Laura.

"Huh? What is it Laura? You found something interesting to read?" Ako wonders while crossing her arms.

Laura shakes her head and holds the book out in front of her to show her friends. "No, but I found this on a book shelf. I don't know why, but it grabbed my curiosity for some reason..."

"Hmm, well it does look different than any book I've ever seen." Koharu points out, while examining the front cover.

"Ooo then let's open it and see what it says!" Yume exclaims as she takes the book off of Laura and scurries to a empty table and sits down.

The other girls follow and sit down at the table as well. Yume puts the book in the middle of all of them and slowly reads the title.

"The Evil Brothers Who Rein Forever."

"Well that doesn't sound evil at all." Ako mutters sarcastically.

While Laura sends a glare to Ako, Koharu places her finger on the book. "Look at the four colors on the cover of the book. That's a little abstract for a regular book don't you think?"

The colors consist of red, green, yellow, and pink. Red was the top half of the book, green was the bottom half of the book, yellow was the left half of the book, and pink was the right half of the book. In each corner the two colors overlapped sloppily, not mixed together. And in the middle was a black circle, which had white letters of a compass on them. Of course N was on top, S was on bottom, W was on the left, and E was on the right.

"Yeah, that is different than most books. We should open it and read it! I want to know what it says!" Yume suggests as she grabs the cover of the book to open it.

Koharu giggles and nods while glancing down at the book. "I'd like to know also."

Laura nods her head excitedly. "This gets me going! Open it Yume!"

Yume slowly opens the cover to find a little note written down on the plain page. "Huh? A note?"

"What's it say Yume?" Ako asks curiously, leaning to put her face closer to the page of the book.

"It says... 'Beware, whoever opens this book. If you read on any further you may get sucked in...literally. Dangers are ahead for the next to flip the page. Burn this book immediately before it's too late...'"

"Like I said before, that isn't ominous at all..." Ako crosses her arms again, sighing.

"Maybe we shouldn't open the book. We should listen to whoever wrote this and burn it." Koharu suggests nervously.

"What? No way Koharu! We can't listen to this note. It's just a book and books can't suck you in. That's like magic and we all know magic doesn't exist!" Laura reminds her.

"I agree with Laura! We should continue reading it!" Yume smiles excitedly and goes to flip the page.

"Hold it! Don't I get a say in this?!" Ako shouts, looking across the table at Yume.

Yume lets go of the page and nods quickly. "Oh right Ako-chan! Sorry! What do you think?"

Ako puts her finger on her chin and thinks for a moment. "I think we should open it. The note's just trying to scare us or something and Laura's right Koharu. Books can't suck you in them, this is reality we're talking about."

"Well, looks like it's 3 against 1 Koharu! Majority rules!" Yume announces while bringing her hand back to the page to flip it.

Koharu lets out a soft sigh and looks down at the book. "Fine, I guess you're all right... Lets open it."

They all nod and Yume finally flips the page to the first chapter.

But the only words on the first page were 'Chapter 1: The Red King'. Nothing else was present on the page or for that matter, any page in the whole book.

"W-what? Why is nothing in the book?" Yume wonders, while she continues to scan through the book curiously.

"I don't know...that's really weird. Does the book have an author at all?" Koharu asks confused.

"Let me check." Ako turns the book to the side and looks at the spine of it. Nothing. No author's name.

"Huh...well that's weird isn't it? No author either..."

"What really?! Let me see it again Ako!" Yume puts the book down in the table again and opens it to the 1st Chapter. "Hmm...The Red King... Wonder what that means."

"Yeah...sounds like a stupid name to me." Ako mutters under her breath before her thoughts interrupt her.

"Ahhhh! Yume! T-the b-book! L-look!" Laura lets out a yelp and points at the, now, brightly glowing red book.

"N-no w-way! I-it's GLOWING!" Ako screams jumping up from her seat.

"I knew we should have burned it you guys!" Koharu panics, her eyes wide.

"M-maybe we're just imagining it? Like Ako said, this IS reality!" Yume states and still grips the book for some reason.

All of a sudden the visions of the four girl's eyes are blinded by a bright red light. And when it disappears, Yume is gone.

Immediately, the three girls are stricken with panic and go over to the book, which has stopped glowing red now.

"Uhhh girls! D-did that book just suck Yume in?!" Laura asks in disbelief.

"N-no way. That isn't possible!" Koharu objects, as she cautiously goes to pick up the book that lays on the table.

"Wait Koharu! Don't touch it!" Ako yells, reaching out to grab Koharu's arm.

Too late.

When Koharu grabbed the book it immediately flipped right to the next chapter which wasn't there before.

"Chapter 2: The Pink King?" Koharu murmurs to herself hesitantly.

Again, all of a sudden the book turned, not red, but a bright pink this time. Blinding them again. And when it's over Laura and Ako look around spotting the book still on the table.

But no Koharu anywhere in sight.

"NO! Dang it! Laura, now Koharu's gone too just like Yume! She got sucked in too!" Ako screams with panic in her voice.

"T-this isn't real...this can't be real..." Laura stares wide-eyes at the book.

"Hurry up and let's burn the thing already!" Ako goes to grab the book, but Laura holds Ako's arm back. "No Ako! We can't do that yet! The girls may be trapped in there and if we burn it, then we burn them too!"

Ako falters with words and glances at the book, before pulling out of Laura's grip and grabbing the book. "Well then we have to figure out how to get them back!"

"And how are we supposed to do that?!"

"Well I don't know, how about we go in the book and find them!" Ako yells sarcastically, and begins to open the book.

But she doesn't have to do that, because the book suddenly opens for her and flips itself to the 3rd Chapter.

"Oh great, the 3rd Chapter: The Green King! What in the world does that mean?!" Ako wonders aloud.

"Uh Ako...watch out!" Laura gasps and lungs for the book.

For the third time the book glows a bright green and it once again blinds the two girls. When the light is gone Laura knows what happened before she even opens her eyes. Ako was gone.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me!" Laura shouts angrily.

The book is somehow in her hands. She guesses it landed there when she went to grab it from Ako.

"I don't want to open it, I don't want to open it! You know, I may just be dreaming, yeah. This is just a dream..."

How wrong she was, because on its own the book once more turns to the 4th Chapter, making Laura glance at it.

"Chapter 4: The Yellow King... What a weird title and it says that in every chapter, except for the colors are different. Wonder what that means. I should probably get this to the headmaster or something. He'll definitely want to hear about this!"

Laura goes to close the book, but before she can get the chance, the book turns a bright yellow and blinds her once more, sucking her into the book with Yume, Koharu, and Ako.

After the light fades, the book falls to the ground and in a poof of sparkles, is gone from the world. It somehow enters itself, to the wacky world it inhabits and to where the girls will soon find themselves at.

In a different world where there are four evil brothers who are kings and rule there own halves of the world.

The four kings are as stated by their corresponding colors:

The Red King:Subaru Yuki

The Pink King:Asahi Kasumi

The Green King:Kanata Kira

The Yellow King:Nozomu Igarashi

These four Kings are in search of something that their prophecy states...

Their Queens. And they'll stop at nothing to make them theirs forever.
