It was the middle of the day and the girls (except for Mahiru) were at an "All-Around Festival", where there is multiple topics there. Not just for example Art or Music.

They are now in their late twenties and happily married to their high school (and middle school?) sweethearts. But all of them have successful jobs now and are waiting for their husbands (except Tsumugu) to get back from their one month trip from their own respective jobs.

Yume is a rising baker who owns her own bakery called "Rainbow Confectionary", so she has her own stand at the Festival. Subaru, her husband, is a famous international singer and they have one child who is 4.

Ako is a famous actress in Japan, who just finished a big movie called "Falling from Heaven" with Tsubasa. She has her own stand as well next to Yume's and she is giving out merchandise from the popular movie. Kanata, her husband, is a famous radio broadcaster in Japan. They have one child together who is 3.

Laura is a music teacher who owns her popular business called "The Melody Club". It's well known over Japan, where she teaches kids how to sing or play different kinds of instruments. She has a booth next to Ako and she and some of her students are advertising the business by showing people their skills. Nozomu, her husband, is also a famous international singer and it's said that Subaru and him are 'friendly rivals'. Also, the couple does not have any children yet.

Koharu is an assistant designer to one out of several coord/outfit  designers who work in a famous designer company called "World Coords". She has a booth besides Laura and she is presenting different coords/outfits for people to order. Asahi, her husband, is a famous international actor and together they have one child who is 5.

Mahiru is a famous international model for "World Coord's" (sometimes working with Koharu) who , currently, is at Hawaii for a big modeling project. That's why she could not attend the Festival. Tsumugu, her husband, is a famous director for movies, who is currently working on one right now. Also like Laura and Nozomu, they do not have any children.

Now, the Festival is on a 30 minute break, so they can get the stage ready for later. The four girls are gathered up at Yume's booth snacking on some of the baker's special rainbow brownies.

"Mmm! Yume, these are so delicious!" Koharu gushes over the pastry, her eyes sparkling.

Yume giggles at her childhood friend and smiles brightly. "Thanks Koharu! I tried to make the colors more vibrant than before. It was difficult though. I kept adding too much or too little and it got really frustrating after a while. I had to take a day of a break just to calm myself down."

"Why a day break? Couldn't you just try making something else? I mean, you're trying to be a famous baker. You don't get breaks Yume." Ako reminds her.

Laura looks up from her half eaten brownie and throws a glance at Ako. "Stop giving her such a hard time. You know exactly why Yume had to take a day's break. She couldn't calm down and we all know who helps her with that."

Ako rolls her eyes playfully. "Yes, yes I know. Subaru helps her calm down."

Koharu swallows the last of her brownie and looks between her friends. "Ako..."

Ako glances at Koharu's expression and immediately apologizes with a sigh. "Sorry Koahru. It's just Yume, we've told you to go to that therapist I suggested a month ago.  She can help you manage your anger issues and I'm sure Subaru would be pleased if you got some real help."

At this Yume pouts and crosses her arms like a child. "I told you I don't have anger issues Ako! I just have a short temper that's all. Right Koahru, Laura?"

Koahru nods her head hesitantly in agreement with Yume's statement and gets a glare from Ako. "I- Uh- um... Well I guess so, maybe when we were kids Yume. But it seems as when you got older, when you do become frustrated it's like you explode like a volcano just went off or something..."

Yume frowns and she leans forward a little in her seat. "Koharu! I thought you'd agree with me! Well what about you Laura? What do you think?"

Laura didn't reply to Yume as she was too busy spacing out while staring wide-eyed out of the front of the booth at something. Her half eaten brownie is just inches away from her mouth as the three girls keep waving their hands in front of Laura's face and saying her name over again.

"—ra!"
"—aura!"
"Laura!"

Finally Laura snapped out of her trance and her head whipped back to look at the girls which makes her brownie drop on the floor. "S-sorry, but you should all turn your heads right about now." She stutters an apology as the bubblegum-haired girl points at a group of four men walking towards them all smiling widely. As she sees them, Laura's face etches with what seems like worry.

"What do you mean look that wa— WHAT?! KANATA!" Ako ends up screaming out of nowhere and bolting out of her seat to rush to her husband. When she gets there she immediately scolds him for not telling her he'd be coming home today. Kanata smirks at her and says a clever remark back to her also calling her his favorite nickname for her. This makes Ako even more angry, but she's still happy to see him after so long.

Yume also screams out "SUBARU," with a big smile as she sprints over to him to give him a bone-crushing hug. He hugs her back and flicks her on her forehead teasingly, to which Yume pouts at. They still act like when they were teenagers.p

Nozomu and Asahi spot their wives at the booth and walk over to them with smiles on their faces, waving slightly.

Koharu gets up from her seat excitedly and hugs Asahi with her arms around his neck and her head on his chest. Asahi hugs her back as his arms go around her waist. They murmur "I miss you's" to each other as they embrace.

Laura's still sitting in her seat staring at her unfinished brownie on the ground like it was the most interesting thing on planet Earth.

She seems more nervous than excited to see her husband after he's been gone for a month. With Laura staring down than excitedly up at him, Nozomu can sense somethings wrong, but he decides to put it in the back of his mind for later as he's too excited to see his wife.

He goes up to her and bends down to kiss her on the cheek. She finally looks up at him and smiles warmly at him, kissing his cheek back. Laura stands up to hug him, figuring she better do something quick or he might get suspicious. (Though she doesn't know he already is.)

After the whole group meets up and exchanges hello's, Ako breaks the heart-warming surprise with what question is running through all the girl's minds.

"Why didn't you guys tell us you were all coming back today?! And coming to the Festival?"

She crosses her arms, along with Yume and Laura. They glare playfully at their husbands, while Koharu sweat drops at her friends actions. "Why don't you let them explain girls?"

"Yes, please explain!" Yume demands, putting her hands on her hips.

The guys look at each other, smiling, and then back at their wives.

"Well, you see, our jobs somehow kind of came together and we found ourselves working with each other again." Subaru explains.

"Yeah, it was funny! We all walked on the set and saw each other all at once." Asahi smiles, looking fondly back at the memory.

"Sure, if looking like idiots is funny." Kanata muttered under his breath and unluckily Nozomu heard.

He laughs, "I'm sure you were the only one who thought we looked like idiots after our reunion Kanata."

Kanata gives his friend a glare out of the corner of his eyes, too which Nozomu just smiles at.

"Anyway, after we finished we all could go home and so I texted Yume where she was when we landed back in Japan. She said you all were at the Festival all day today, so we then had the idea of surprising our wives." Subaru explains again smirking, wondering why he always has to do all of the explaining. It's like when they were in M4 and he was their leader.

Ako huffs and points at them. "Still you should have told us!"

"Yeah!" Yume agrees and gangs up on their husbands with Ako.

"Well we also have some surprises for you too." Koharu coughs, interrupting Yume and Ako's complaints.

"Oh yeah we do. Koharu tell Asahi your big news!" Yume almost jumps up and down childishly.

Koharu nods and puts her hands behind her back, rocking back and forth on her heels. "U-um okay. Well Asahi... I got promoted to a head designer of the sexy coords/outfits. My boss retired and practically begged the council to make me a head designer. I told her she didn't have to do that, but she insisted."

Asahi thought he couldn't smile any wider as his eyes lit up and he embraced Koharu. "I'm so happy
Koharu! That's amazing! See I told you your designs were the best in the world! And now you can finally put your own ideas out there! Everyone will love them!"

Koharu blushes at the compliment, her cheeks tinted with a dark pink.

"T-thanks Asahi."

"My turn! Okay, so I get my own baking TV show!" Yume declares happily with a grin plastered on her face.

"Really? That's awesome Yudetaco! You finally get your dream come true." Subaru congratulates her, giving her a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Yume smiles up at him with her eyes closed. "Thanks Subaru!"

"Alright, alright! Let me tell you guys my surprise. I just finished my big movie "Falling from Heaven" and I got a call yesterday saying that they are doing two more movies for it!" Ako tells them triumphantly with her hands on her hips. "They start filming in a couple months."

"Ha, great job kitty. Told you that movie was going to do well. And you doubted me." Kanata gave her a knowing look and kissed the top of her head. "I did not doubt for a second! I knew that movie was going to be successful because Tsubasa and I were the lead roles in it." Ako argues back defending her side. The green-haired boy just laughs at his wife and smirks at her.

"Alright, would you two knock it off already?! People are starting to stare you know." Subaru glares at the arguing couple.

He is right. Passerby's were staring at them, since Ako was practically screaming at Kanata.

Ako stopped immediately, glancing around at the people and her cheeks became red as she stared at the ground embarrassed. Kanata sighs and brings her in for a hug and glares at the people staring, which makes them carry on walking.

Everyone laughs softly. But out of the corner of her eye Koharu notices Laura's beyond nervous expression as she tries to avoid eye contact with her husband.

She frowns, her eyebrows furrowing, as she steps away from Asahi to put a comforting hand on Laura's shoulder. "Laura. What's wrong? Aren't you excited to tell Nozomu your beautiful surprise?"

This got everyone's attention and they all stopped their conversations to look at Laura and Koharu.

Laura takes a step back and shakes her head, moving away from Koharu's grip. "I-it's nothing. I-I'm fine really..." Laura attempts to firmly say, but she ends up stuttering.

Nozomu takes a couple steps towards his wife and reaches out his hand to grab her wrist gently. "Hey, princess... What's wrong? You can tell me anything." He moves her bangs out of her face, his voice laced with concern.

Laura just shakes her head "no" again. "I-I can't. You'll get mad at me Nozomu."

"And why would I get mad at you Laura?"

She doesn't reply as tears start to fall down her cheeks.

"Hey, hey. Laura look at me." He tilts her chin up to make her look at him. "Why?"

"Because- Because... I've had this surprise for a m-month now and I t-tried to contact you since then. I really did N-Nozomu! B-but you wouldn't answer any of your calls for some reason and I figured it was because of work. I called you every day for a month, hoping you'd answer. And this surprise I just—"

"Laura clam down. It's okay. I'm not going to get mad at you. Yes, I wasn't able to call for a month because of work and for that I'm so so sorry! And I figured you were trying to contact me to see how I was doing. I felt horrible."

He pauses for a second and sees Laura is nodding.

"So now that you know I won't get mad please tell me what this surprise is."

Nozomu reassures her as he wipes her tears away with his thumb.

Laura stares into his eyes her bottom lip quivering slightly. She tries to stop herself from crying further, but she still is nervous to tell me. When she won't answer Nozomu sighs softly and smiles warmly at her. "Alright well can you show me then? Like do you have a picture of it or do I have to wait to get home and see it?"

Laura, again, shakes her head and takes a deep breath steading herself. "I-I can't show you, because, yes, I do have it w-with me, but it won't come for another eight months or so..." Laura then looks down at her stomach, gently placing a hand on it. Nozomu looks at her with a confused look. "8 months? What do you me—"

Nozomu stops in the middle of his question and his eyes suddenly become wide as he looks at Laura's hand on her stomach. "Y-you- Laura you're... pregnant?"

Laura smiles slightly and nods answering his question. "I've been for a month now. I found out right after you left. I was so excited, so I called you but then you never answered for the whole month. And that's why I was so nervous to see you, because I didn't know you were coming here today. And I thought if you knew we'd been expecting for a month without you knowing, you'd be upset with me."

He doesn't speak, but just keeps looking wide-eyed back and forth between his wife and her stomach.

"N-Nozomu?" Her voice cracks with uncertainty.

All of a sudden Nozomu starts to cry and he hugs Laura tightly, spinning her around in the air laughing. Laura ends up giggling too, thankful that he wasn't angry.

"So you're not mad then?" She wonders as he sets her down on the ground. Everyone else is smiling and very excited for their best friends.

"What? No, Laura, I could never be mad at you. We're going to be a family Laura! I couldn't be more happy in my life!" Nozomu declares happily as he hugs Laura again and gives her a quick, but passionate kiss.

"I'm so glad! I'm so happy too Nozomu!" The couple smiles widely at each other and Nozomu places his hand on Laura's stomach gently.

"We're going to be a family..." Nozomu mutters softly, looking with loving eyes at their hands on her stomach.

"Yes we are." Laura confirms in a whisper as she tilts her head up to touch their foreheads together.

They smile warmly at each other, while hearing "aww's" plus "congratulations" behind them from their friends.
