Hello everyone! Sorry this chapter's so late! I've been stressed at the end of this month because of school, but that's not a good excuse.

"...~Yudetaco~... ~Yudetaco~... Wake up already! Geez why do you sleep so much?!" Subaru rolls his eyes while sitting on the chair next to the bed that a girl with red ribbons in her blonde hair is unconscious on.

"Tsk, seriously... how am I supposed to have you become my Queen if you never wake up?" He mutters to himself, turning his head to the side.

Suddenly, as of out of nowhere, the girl let's out a groan and after a couple moments her eyes flutter open slowly, with her hand touching her forehead gently.

"Ow, ow...my head. Stupid red light!" She goes to try and sit up, but ends up falling back down on her back.

"Huh? Stupid red light? What's that supposed to mean?" Subaru turns his attention to the girl again and frowns.

"Wha-what? W-who are you? D-did you put me here?! I'll have you know I can spike a mean volleyball!" She cries out, turning her head to the side to see him, but the male has hidden his face in the dark. Meaning she has no clue who the voice belongs to.

"Haha! Look at your face! Man, you really are a tomato Nijino Yume!" Subaru can't help but burst out laughing, even though he was always taught to compose himself as a King. "And by the way you're in my palace."

"Hey! That's not funn— Wait a second, how do you know my name?!" Yume goes to retort back, but instead her eyes go wide at the realization of this person knowing her full name. His voice does though sound familiar...

"Hmm? Oh that...well I've always known I guess..." Subaru shrugs his shoulders casually and stands up from the chair.

"Y-you're a stalker! G-get away you creep! Let me go!" Yume panics and sits up, finally having the strength return to her body.

"Well, you see, it's not so simple Yudetaco. I can't let you go... ever." Subaru shakes his head and moves the chair he was sitting on closer to the bed.

"H-huh...t-that name...only one person calls me that..." Yume whispers to herself, while gripping the bed sheets underneath her.

Subaru smirks at Yume and walks over to the newly moved chair and sits down. Leaning forward to show his face in the light, Yume finally sees who this mystery person is.

"...Su...baru..."

"Yep. It's me Yudetaco. The King of the Kingdom of the North! And you're going to become my Queen."

Yume's eyes go wide once more as she fully takes in Subaru. The hair, the eyes, the smirk...everything is there, but his personality seems off.

"What do you mean 'Queen'? I can't be your Queen! I have to be an idol and I'm too young anyway! Where even am I? Did Hime-sempai play a trick on us or something?" Yume wonders as she can't help but stare into those blue eyes of his. So familiar, but yet not.

"Nope. This isn't a trick, I'm being serious. The prophecy stated that you'd be my one and only Queen Yume. And the prophecy is absolute, you know..."

The prophecy...? Yume wonders to herself. Subaru, a-a King?!

Subaru pauses, before abruptly standing up again and leans his face into Yume's closely. He caresses her cheek and smirks slightly.

"And what do you mean you can't be Queen? You will be my Queen Yume or I'll be forced to do something that I really don't want to do."

She gulps and hesitantly backs away from him. "What would you not want to do...?"

"Kill you."

"Ehhhhh?!" Yume jumps up and looses her balance, so she falls off the side of the bed onto the ground. "N-no..."

Subaru lets out a sigh, "I'm only kidding. Geez Yudetaco don't get so panicky!" He pushes himself off of the bed to walk towards Yume. She tries to back up, but fear won't let her move.

He kneels down to her level and suddenly, with force, pushes her against the wall. "Yudetaco, I won't hurt you, I just want you to be my Queen."

Tears start to slide down Yume's cheeks. "Y-you aren't the r-real Subaru! I-I must be trapped in that b-book or something. And if I am then my friends will come and find me you phony King!" She shouts at him as she continues to cry.

Subaru frowns a little as his grip on her shoulders tightens. He wipes her tears away with his thumb and whispers something in her ear. "Your friends are never coming to get you. They're in the same position as you. And, Yume, if you dare try and escape me I will punish you. Is that understood?"

Yume continues to cry, but Subaru slams his fist into the wall making her become startled. "I said Yume, is that understood?"

"...Y-y-yes..."

"Hmph, good." And with that Subaru leans in and abruptly kisses Yume deeply. His hands start to explore her curves as he kisses her with passion. Yume whimpers as he does this, but can't do anything about it since he has her pinned to a wall.

"I. Am. Subaru. No one else is. And you are ~mine Yudetaco~." Subaru declares seductively to her and Yume's face goes red, even though she knows inside that this isn't the real Subaru.

"You really should have listened to Koharu and not opened the book. But I'm glad you opened it, because it made you be able to see me."

Yume gulps and before she can get her voice back, the King picks her up without a word and walks out of the small room into hallways that lead everywhere.

Yume tries to get out of his grip, but he holds her too tightly. Of course he would.

Soon after minutes of walking down what feels like every hallway twice, Subaru stops in front of a big red door and reaches his one hand out to grab onto the handle, opening it.

Stepping inside, it looks to be a huge bedroom with two balconies attached to it. Subaru sets Yume down on the red sheets of the bed and ties her wrists behind her, so she can't escape.

"Sorry I have to do this to you Yudetaco. Don't want you escaping, now would I?" He smiles and kisses her cheek, making Yume flinch.

Subaru chuckles and moves Yume's bangs from her face, giving her another kiss on the forehead. "You'll get used to that soon My Queen." He winks at her and opens his bedroom door stepping one foot outside before turning back to look at her.

"I'll be right back Yudetaco. I've got to do something important before we can spend some time together tonight." Before closing the door he smirks deviously and winks at her.

When the door fully closes, Yume starts to panic and tries to figure out a way to get her wrists untied. "T-tonight?! W-what does he mean t-tonight?"

After moments of panicking and trying to think of what to do, Yume decides to move her body to the end of the bed and slips off, falling onto the floor. "Ow, ow!" She whisper yells, then takes a deep breath trying to steady herself. "Alright I can do this...I'll un tie myself and then run out the door into the hallways trying to find an exit or something! Yeah, yeah best plan ever!" Yume encourages herself, while pulling her arms in front of her.

Struggling, she brings her face to her tied up wrists and finds a loose string to bite on.

Maybe I can try and pull the string with my teeth to loosen it... Yume thinks to herself.

She begins to tug on the string with all her might and finds that it is surprisingly a little loose already.

"Come on, come on! Just a little bit more..." After a couple minutes of torturing her teeth with having to pull the string, her teeth slip and her body is thrown on the ground. "Aw great! Now how am I supposed to get this stupid string off my wris— Oh... OH I DID IT!!! YEAH!!!" Yume says aloud, but shoots her head up to the door and slaps her hands over her mouth.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no! Why did I do thaaaaat?! I'm so stupid! That phony King could have heard me!!!!" She whines and jumps up from the ground, running to the door.

The door creaks open slowly and Yume pokes her head out into the empty hallway. She sighs softly and moves out of the room closing the bedroom door behind her.

"No one's here I think."

Yume quickly looks both ways to make sure no one is there again, before she swiftly makes her way down the hallway to turn the corner.

Another empty hallway with a bunch of doors. Turning to another hallway she saw the same exact thing. One hallway after another like a song on a loop.

"Well I guess I'm just going to have to keep scouring for a way out. And hopefully not run into that fake evil Subaru on the way..." She shudders just thinking about it, before checking a door to find it locked. "There're all locked! Geez how many doors does he have in this palace?" Yume pauses before continuing walking and puts her finger on her cheek.

"Hmm, I wonder if the real Subaru wants to have this many doors in his house when he buys one? If that's true I'm gonna have to persuade him not to... I don't want this many doors."

Meanwhile, the evil King Subaru just finished filing his wedding papers and picked out a dress for his bride. Now he's on his way back to his bedroom. As he opens the door, he smirks evilly. "Yudetaco! I hope your ready for our honeymoon. I just filled the papers out to confirm that your now my Quee— WHAT?!"

In front of him he saw his bed empty, with his Queen gone and nowhere in sight. "Where did she go?!" He ran over to the bed and his gaze dropped to the floor, where he saw the string he used to tie Yume's wrists.

His eyes widen as he picks up the string and clenches it in his hand.

"Damn!" Subaru throws the string on the ground and bolts out of the room, slamming the door behind him. "I knew I should have tied her up better! I'm so stupid to think that she would be too afraid to do anything reckless!"

He grits his teeth and his eyes narrow as he knows where she may end up at. The exit. But he knows his way inside and out of this palace. He'll get there faster and catch her before she escapes. "I'm not letting her escape me this time. She'll regret ever pulling that trick again!" He smirks mischievously while turning another hallway.

While Subaru is sprinting down the hallways, Yume heard his screams and takes off running as well. She has no idea where she's going, but she doesn't care. "I've got to get out of here, I have to!" Yume's voice cracks as tears come to her eyes. "I won't let him have me! I'll get out of here and find Koharu, Ako, and Laura. We'll find a way to get out of this horrid book. I just hope their okay..."

As she turns another corner, Yume skids to a stop and her eyes widen.

He's there in front of her blocking the exit.

Subaru.

Well the fake Subaru at least.

"G-get out of my way! I-I'm leaving n-now!" Yume shouts courageously at him with her fists clenched to her sides. "There's nothing you can do about it!"

Subaru just stares at her and begins to laugh loudly, with a hint of evil in his voice. "You think that's actually possible Yudetaco? You're crazy! If you come any closer then I'll have to punish you. But, if you go back to the bedroom like a good soon-to-be Queen, then I may make your punishment more enjoyable..." He smirks, while having both hands on his hips.

Yume takes a deep breath and exhales slowly, trying to build up her courage. "This isn't real. You're not real, this palace isn't real, and being your Queen isn't real! Get that through your thick skull you phony King! I'm going to leave and find my friends, so we can get out of this-this book and there's nothing you can do or say to stop me from trying!"

Yume declares furiously with her eyes closed. She shakes her head and looks up at Subaru, tears brimming her eyes.

After a moment Subaru lets out a sigh. "Aw Yudetaco...I really didn't want to do this, but you're getting the hard way tonight. And after I tried so hard to make sure the wedding was perfect for you. Oh well. Guess we'll have to postpone the wedding. That's okay, my Queen, i'll make you fall in love with me someday soon."

He begins to advance toward her with a evil smirk on his face. He's only a few feet away from her, when Yume starts to back away from him.

She begins to shake with fear and keeps mumbling 'No' over and over again. Finally backing into a door, it's unknowingly cracked open, she falls through it and lands on the ground with a thud.

She looks up abruptly and sees Subaru still walking towards her. "There's nowhere for you to go now Yudetaco."

Yume eyes go wide and she looks behind her at the room she's in quickly. Seeing a book on a wooden stand she grows curious and stands up to be in front of it.

"W-what's this...? I think this is kinda like that other b-book." She goes to touch the book's cover and when she does it immediately lights up pink. "Pink? W-wait this is just like the r-red light from that other book Laura found back in our world."

"WAIT! D-DON'T GO ANY CLOSER! Get away from there now!" Subaru's eyes go wide with fear and he starts to run to Yume to get her out of the forbidden room.

But it's too late, because the room suddenly blinds the two with a bright pink light. Yume lets out a sudden yelp and when the light fades, just like before, she's gone.

When Subaru opens his eyes and shoots his head up, he gasps. "Damn it! She teleported! Why didn't I notice that that was the forbidden room I didn't want her to ever go in?! That stupid book was her only way out. How could I be so-so—" He clenches his fists in anger and picks up the closest thing he can find, throwing it hard against the wall. Whatever it was shatters and breaks, but the King doesn't care. He just turns around, steps out of the room and slams the door behind him with a dark aura around him.

"Again I was stupid! Ugh, my brothers aren't going to like this at all... That light was pink, which only means one thing."

Subaru cuts his thoughts and dashes through the hallway to the palace's exit. He heads into the grassy area, where he finds his chocolate brown horse in his stall.

He quickly ready's his horse and jumps up on him, giving his horse the signal to start moving. His eyes narrow and he yells at his horse to go faster.

"...That pink light... There's only one place where I know for a fact it leads to." Subaru tightens his grip on the reins with his eyes full of determination to get his Queen back.

"Asahi's kingdom. The Kingdom of the East."
