"It's Christmas! Wake up!"

Peridot groaned at the sound of Stevens shout from the doorway. She grabbed her pillow and covered her head, only for said boy to take it. "Come on Peridot! Everyone's waiting for you!" 

Groaning in protest, Peridot opened her eyes, she winced as light assaulted her eyes and yawned. She reached over and grabbed her glasses off her dark wood table. She yawned again before she sat up. Her eyes, now without the annoying blur, fixed on an excited boy, staring at her pretty much with stars in his eyes. He was wearing a long-sleeved red shirt with a star and some red pants. His pajamas he got yesterday to sleep in and technically his first present. 

"Come on!" 

Peridot sighed and stood up, clad in her own Christmas pajamas. A green long-sleeved shirt with black on the neck with a yellow diamond on the chest and black around the edges at the bottom. Her pants were green with yellow diamonds on the knees. She sighed and followed the boy downstairs, seeing Lapis in her own pajamas (A blue long-sleeved (It gets cold in Beach City, though you would never be able to guess) with many lighter blue hues and simple blue pants) sorting through presents. 

Amethyst was sitting down, in her decor, a short sleeved purple shirt and some light purple shorts, eating some left over cookies they made yesterday. Pearl was sitting down (A simple white medium-sleeved shirt with shorts on) next to her, leaning against Garnet (A red and black checkered tank top and some red pants was her pajamas). Ruby (Red pajamas, simple) and Sapphire (Blue gown) sat side by side. Jasper (An orange muscle shirt and shorts) sat on the floor next to Eyeball (Same as Ruby) and Yami was sitting next to Lapis (A light gold gown on). Peridot let out a soft sigh and looked up, seeing Greg walk into the room wearing a gray shirt and some shorts. 

"Who's opening the first present?" Garnet asked, gazing at the group.

"I will!" Steven cried excitedly.

Lapis grinned and pushed a box towards him. The boy unwrapped the present and laughed when he saw a brand new ukulele.

As the unwrapping of presents continued, Lapis got a total of five presents, Garnet got a total of four, Steven got a total of seven, Peridot got only 2 (which she was fine with), Pearl got four, Amethyst got five, Yami got four, Ruby got four, Sapphire got four, Jasper got five, and Eyeball got six. 

As Garnet started collect pieces of discarded paper as the others moved into the kitchen and dining room for breakfast, she looked at Peridot, "You didn't get Lapis anything." 

Peridot nodded, "I did, but it's something I can't bring here." 

Garnet raised a brow suggestively, making Peridot flush and look away. Garnet chuckled, "Well, don't make her to sore will you?"

Peridot blushed harder, "Yeah, okay." 

Garnet nodded before she turned and walked off.

Peridot stared after her before sighing, she followed the scent of pancakes and smiled when she saw Lapis in her direction.

The Hawaiian almost dumped into her but she backed up quickly, "Oh! Sorry Peridot, I didn't see you. Here, I made you a plate." She held out the plate full of bacon and pancakes. Peridot took it eagerly, muttering out a quick thanks, before she scarfed it down wolfishly. 

"Jesus Christ, Peridot, slow down." Pearl chuckled, watching her ex. Peridot mumbled something but it was incoherent due to the mass amount of food in her mouth. She swallowed the mass down and pushed the empty plate away, "Lapis makes the best pancakes." She purred, gazing at the girl affectionately, making her blush. 

"Where's all this coming from?" Lapis raised a brow, her tone smug despite the redness of her face. "Are you trying to make up for not getting me a present?" 

Peridot grinned, "Oh, but I did, my sweet~" She stood up and moved towards the break in the wall that led to the living room, "It's at your house, we're leaving today right? I'll give it to you tonight." With that she winked, winked, and walked off, trying to hide the huge blush threatening to overpower her pale face when she realized that she literally just told Lapis fucking Lazuli she was going to fuck her; albeit in... 'family friendly' terms. 

She laid down on her bed and noticed that Jasper, who left after presents for whatever reason, had texted her.

Rolling her eyes, the blonde put her phone down and sighed happily. 

The day went by relatively fast. Peridot, Lapis, Ruby, Steven, and Connie (she came over) played in the snow that apparently appeared overnight. Ruby got super into it, like she does everything, and got pissed off when she lost and Sapphire had to calm her down. Steven and Connie got stuck under a mistletoe and shared a very shy but sweet kiss, then she had to leave. Lunch consisted of going out to the pizza place and laughing. They went to the arcade after that and then went back to the Temple where Garnet, Ruby, and Sapphire stayed behind and cooked. Dinner was steak, corn, and mash potatoes with desert being pie that Pearl made. 

"This is really good!" Lapis praised, looking at the tall girl who smiled. Peridot grinned slightly, "Pearl was always good at making pies, though she doesn't like sweets." She eyed the baby blue-eyed girl with an amused look. 

Pearl rolled her eyes, "They rot your teeth." She scoffed, "Besides, my mother is quite the baker. Peridot went insane over my peanut butter-chocolate cookies." She gazed over at the nerd, "One time, for a straight year, I had to seriously smuggle them at school because Peridot had an unhealthy addiction to them." She laughed slightly, Peridot joining in. "I did, the teacher caught us exchanging and thought it was drugs so she screamed in the middle of the hallway at us only to see it was cookies! You should of seen her face she was redder then Ruby when Sapphire came out wearing a bikini!" Peridot howled with laughter, Ruby's face went red, in embarrassment or anger, Lapis couldn't tell, and Sapphire looked down, a small smirk playing on her lips. 

Lapis watched the gamer lovingly, before she caught sight of Yami and Amethyst sharing a smug smile, looking at her, and quickly adverted her eyes. 

Peridot calmed down and heaved out a breath, "We should do karaoke!" She shot up and ran into the living room, hooking everything up. 

Lapis looked at Garnet, "You know, when I met her she was an asshole." Garnet looked at her, Lapis noticed that she wasn't wearing her shades, and smirked slightly. "She still is." Laughing, Lapis rushed over to the TV and grabbed the microphone. 

"She can sing, she can dance, and she swims like a fish! Is there nothing that she can't do?" Peridot said sarcastically, and Lapis exchanged a look with Garnet before they both busted out laughing, earning a very scared and confused look from the little blonde. 

"What? What's so funny?!" 

Lapis waved her off dismissively and scrolled through the many songs that Peridot had before she decided on one. 

The intro started, an eagle cry and a few 'Ooohs' before Lapis started singing.

Claps were offered, making the girls laugh harder and bow, before they looked at each other, giggling.

Amethyst grinned before she stood up, "Lemme try." She murmured.

Peridot nodded and handed her the device before she sat down, Lapis joining her.

Amethyst scrolled through them before selecting one, upon hearing the intro Peridot shot up and grabbed the other microphone.

Peridot nodded and backed up as Pearl stepped forward. 

She dropped the mic in Pearls hand. The two gazed at each other before Peridot grinned like a dork and moved back next to Lapis. 

As the night continued, Pearl sang a girl version of 'Kiss the Girl', Sapphire and Ruby sang a duet of 'Take a Hint', Steven sang Counting Stars before Peridot switched over to songs that the 'gems' and Steven wrote.

The group waved them off, Peridot grinned and grabbed her hoodie, slipping it on as Lapis slid her jacket around her waist and tied it, not really caring. The two made there way outside when Lapis pinned Peridot against the car and pressed her lips to hers roughly, making the smaller grin squeak.
