At the Port Mafia headquarters

It was just another day of you handling you daily reports that needs to be done by today. It has been hectic at Port Mafia recently due to an attack from an organization called Red Axis. That group suddenly made an ambush on Port Mafia which has caused major casualties and damages on the buildings and the people there. You were lucky enough that you survived thanks to the members of Port Mafia who evacuated the none combatant people to hide in the nearby safe room. The battle between the Port Mafia and the Red Axis lasted for 24 hours and of course Port Mafia had won against them. You were pretty scared since you were not sure on what to do once you had saw the damage, bodies and bloodshed that had happened at the scene. When you came out of the safe room you immediately went to your boss who was none other than Nakahara Chuuya. You asked him if he was badly injured or not and he denied that the Red Axis attacks aren't strong enough to give him a mere injury. You just sighed at his actions but still went to the trouble of making him go to the infirmary for further check up. It has been 2 weeks since the attack and you have to give the report about the incident to Chuuya after that. While you were busy finalizing the report, you heard Chuuya called your name.

"(L/n). Do you have the report on that organization the other day?" your boss Chuuya asked you. "Oh the report on the Red Axis organization right? I haven't printed out the report yet so can you wait for at least 10 minutes for it?" you asked him. "Ok then" Chuuya said. After 10 minutes you finally printed the report and handed it to Chuuya. You got up from your chair and handed the report to Chuuya while smiling. " Here's the report boss." you said while smiling.

Let's just say that this is how you look like when you handed the report to Chuuya.

Chuuya just blushed when you smiled innocently like that. He took the report from you and thanked you for your quick actions. He made sure to not look at you directly when he took the report because the more he looks at you, the more he feels the urge to kiss you right there and then. Chuuya is just an ordinary tsundere type of character. He has a thing for you but tries so hard to deny it because apparently he thinks that you wouldn't be interested in him. You noticed that he didn't look at you at all so you tried to ask him about it.

"Um boss. Why are you avoiding looking at me in the eyes? Is there something wrong with my face?" you asked innocently. Chuuya was perplexed and was able to keep his composure and said " Nothing's wrong with your face (L/n). Can you leave me alone for now? I need to focus on reading this report." he said harshly. "Oh o-ok." you said. You hung your head low and walked out of the office leaving Chuuya alone.

Chuuya pov

"AHHH!!! WHY THE HELL DID I SOUND LIKE A BASTARD JUST NOW?! NOW I THINK SHE'S GONNA HATE ME FOR IT!" Chuuya yelled internally. This guy is a real definition of a two faced person. At some time he acts like a jerk while the other time he acts like a total simp for you. " WHY THE HELL DID SHE LOOKED SO CUTE WITH THAT SMILE?!

This is Chuuya's face whenever he remembers that cute smile of yours🤭

"I swear if this continues I'm gonna lose control of myself! But then again she is cute to begin with...Ah! What am I thinking?! She probably doesn't feel the same way as I do for her." Chuuya then sighs and continues to read the report.

Your pov

"I wonder why boss acted like that just now. Ah.... He didn't have to be too harsh on me. Now my mood is ruined." you sighed. You were walking along the corridors until you bumped into Higuchi and Gin which made you snap out of your thoughts. "Ouch! S-sorry Higuchi-chan and Gin-chan! I didn't see you two just now! you profusely apologized to them. "Dont worry about (y/n)-chan! It's our fault as well for not seeing you just now." said Higuchi as she tried to reassure you that everything was fine. You sighed in relief and look sad which caught the attention of both girls. " (Y/n)-chan did something happen to you? You look a bit upset. You can tell us what happen ok. It's not good to bottle up your feelings" said Gin worriedly. You then look at the both of them and ranted out about the scene that happened between you and Chuuya. Both girls listened intently and was pretty surprised that Chuuya was a bit harsh with you. As far as they know, Chuuya has never raised his voice against you so this really did surprised them. "Hmm... I think this is a case of facing against a tsundere (y/n)-chan!" said Higuchi. "Huh!" yelled both you and Gin in disbelief. "W-wait! What do you mean by tsundere?! Nakahara-san is being a tsundere?! That's gotta be a lie you know!" you said still not believing in Higuchi's words. " It seems plausible to me (y/n)-chan. I think Chuuya-san has a crush on you." said Gin. "S-say what?! That's gotta be a lie!" you yelled embarrassed.

If Chuuya yelled at just to toughen you up, you can still see it as a good reason. But to have a crush on you sounds like a big fat lie no matter what you thought about it. "There's no way he has a crush on me. If he does them state one reason to why he would have a CRUSH on ME." you challenge the girls to give you an answer that is logical enough for you to understand. Both girls look at each other and giggled which had you confused. Then they both said something that made you blush like a tomato. "Well~ you are CUTE and have a big crush on him!" the girls then started squealing. "S-shut up you two! I don't want anyone to know about that!" you said as you tried to mask away your embarrassment.

It is true that you have a big crush on Chuuya but thought that he wouldn't want to be serious in forming an intimate relationship with you so just felt happy just by being at his side as an assistant. Higuchi and Gin knew about your crush on Chuuya during your last girls night out where you had accidentally blurted out that you love Chuuya while you were drunk. You made sure that the girls would never tell anyone about it and they did keep their promise to you. "W-Whatever it is just keep quiet you two. Thank God no one heard us" you half whispered to them. " You should Tak this chance to confess to him (y/n)-chan! You must seize this lovely opportunity! " yelled Higuchi enthusiastically. Gin just nodded and raised her thumbs to give you her support. You blushed at your friends actions and said " P-please stop already! L-lets just go grab something to eat ok?" you said while still trying to avoid the confession topic. " Ok~" both girls continued to tease you. The three of you walked away from the corridors to grab a bit and after you all were gone, a certain ginger haired heard all of the conversation and blushed deep red. "Well... I wasn't expecting to hear that, but I'm gonna take this opportunity".

At your office

After eating with both Higuchi and Gin you thought about what they had said. If only you were brave enough to confess to Chuuya them you wouldn't have been in this predicament. You just sighed and then yawned. Today's work did took a toll on you so you decided to take a quick nap at your desk. 5 minutes into your nap you faintly heard the door of your office opened and then closed. At this moment you knew that was Chuuya and you were supposed to get up and greet him, but your body planned otherwise. You didn't get up from the desk and still continue to "sleep".

Chuuya wanted to talk to you about something until he saw your sleeping form.

"Damnit! Why do you have to look so cute (y/n)." he said it out loud. At this point you were shocked with what you had just heard. Did Nakahara Chuuya just called you cute? Not to mention he called you by your first name. You decided to continue sleeping to hear what he has to say next. " I know that you would really be listening but I just wanna say sorry for raising my voice just now. I dunno how to talk with you without stuttering and blushing whenever I look at that cute face of yours." Chuuya apologized sincerely. You were touched with his sincere apology and felt happy that he wasn't angry with you at all. You were about to stop with the sleeping when you felt his lips gently touching your lips. That's when you heard him say " I love you (y/n)."

At that moment your face immediately went red and Chuuya noticed it right away. His face became pale when he noticed that you got up from your "sleep" and looked at him with your face blushing like a tomato.

"W-wait you were awake this whole time?!" yelled Chuuya in disbelief.
" Y-yeah. S-sorry about that Nakahara-san" you stuttered. There was a moment of silence between the both of you and before Chuuya could say anything you immediately took the chance. "I-I love you as well Nakahara-san!" you confessed. You immediately covered your face in embarrassment because you didn't want him to see your face at that moment.

Chuuya was shocked with your sudden confession and then he just smiled. " I know about it" he smiled and blushed for a bit. "E-eh I never told you about it before." you said completely taken aback by Chuuya's words. " I heard you talking about it with Higuchi and Gin at the corridors just now so I took the chance to confess to you as well" he said while still. You were embarrassed knowing that someone did indeed heard about that conversation and you felt like wanting to run away from Chuuya. Before you could think of anything, you noticed that he walks up to you and holds both of your soft hands. "Hey (y/n). Can you please remove your hands from your face? I want to see your face" he asked softly. You hesitated at first, but then slowly removed your hands from your face. Your face was still red because even though you wanted to avert your gaze from Chuuya's eyes, you just couldn't when he looked at you so tenderly. What he did next totally surprised you and made you fell for him harder. Chuuya kissed your forehead first then kissed you gently on the lips which you also returned it despite being shocked at that very moment. After you both kissed Chuuya rested his forehead on yours and said " Be my girlfriend (y/n). I'll try my best to be one the best boyfriend for you" he said with determination in his voice. You were quite at first then meekly answered " Of course Chuuya-kun." "I love you, you my cute assistant" he mischievously confessed to you again. "Mou~ stop confessing already. You already confessed to me so there's no need for another confession" you pouted at him. " Of course I have to confess a lot to you. After all my cute assistant deserves all of my love after all" he said and smirked after that. You just continued to blush and just smiled at your mischievous boyfriend.

Himiko: Ok here me out. I didn't expect to publish 3 one shots in 1 day but what can I say. As long as I have free time, then I will continue to write in my book.
