C9-Saint Queen's Academy, Stairs and Cleaning

A few days later, we see Teka at his apartment making a sandwich.

As he was about to eat it, a knock came at his door.

Teka: Huh. Better than the times hearing a knock at my room window.

He goes to the door to answer and see a Average Class girl from Saint Queen's Academy as she has dyed blonde hair with ringlets, a small black mole under her left eye, small thick eyebrows, wearing a navy blue suit jacket, a golden color shirt, a red bowie, navy blue medium length skirt, thigh high black stockings and black dress slip-on shoes.

Girl: Hello ther-

Teka: Not interested.

Teka begins to close the door, but the girl block it with her foot, hand and head.

Girl: I don't think you know who I am.

Teka: I don't. And I don't care.

Teka continues to close door, but the girl's hand gets caught between the door and doorframe.

Girl: (in pain) OW! OW! OWWIE!!! YOUR CRUSHING MY HAND!! MY BEAUTIFUL HAND!!

Teka quickly opens the door wider, releasing the girl's hand.

Teka: (apologetic) Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?

Girl: (rubbing her hand) Ugh, you better be! Do you know who I am now?

Teka: No, I don't. And honestly, I'm not interested in whatever you're offering or selling.

Girl: (looking offended) You're really playing hard to get, aren't you?

Teka: No, I'm just genuinely not interested. I have my own life and priorities to focus on.

Girl: (crossing her arms) Well, just so you know, I'm Eliza Vanders, the heiress of the Vanders Corporation, one of the wealthiest families on Planet Memo. I could offer you a life of luxury and comfort beyond your wildest dreams.

Teka: (unimpressed) Look, Eliza, I appreciate the offer, but material wealth isn't what motivates me. I value genuine connections, meaningful experiences, and making a positive impact.

Eliza: (looking intrigued) Hmm, you're different from most guys I know. Maybe there's more to you than meets the eye.

Teka: (smiling) There's always more to everyone than meets the eye. And I believe that true happiness comes from living a life aligned with one's values and passions.

Eliza: (pausing) You know, you're not what I expected. But I'm still not giving up. I'll find a way to make you interested, Teka.

Teka: (chuckles) Well, good luck with that, Eliza. But for now, I have a sandwich waiting for me.

Eliza huffed and turned to leave, but then she paused and looked back at Teka.

Eliza: (curious) A sandwich, huh? Mind if I join you?

Teka: (raising an eyebrow) Seriously?

Eliza: (smirking) Who knows, maybe sharing a sandwich is the start of an unexpected adventure.

Teka sighed and stepped aside to let Eliza in.

Teka: (smiling) Alright, come on in. But don't expect me to suddenly fall for your charms.

Eliza: (grinning) We'll see about that.

And so, an unexpected encounter brought Teka and Eliza together, setting the stage for a new chapter in Teka's journey on Planet Memo. As they sat down to share a sandwich, little did they know that their paths would intertwine in ways they couldn't have predicted, leading to friendships, challenges, and a series of events that would shape their futures in unexpected ways.

As Eliza entered Teka's apartment, she started judging its looks and decor slightly annoying Teka because of her wealthy and pompous attitude.

Teka looks at his kitchen window to see Kay, Izara, Mako, Miki, Umi and some random Average Class girl and they are staring daggers at Eliza in both jealousy and annoyance.

Then they finally noticed Teka looking at them.

Eliza also noticed them and sucked her teeth with a irritated look.

Eliza: (speaking quietly with irritation) Damn Honeycutt Academy students.

She turns to Teka and tries to distract him by changing the subject.

Eliza: (smiling with closed eyes) Say Teka. What kind of sandwich is-

Teka ignores her and let the six girls in his apartment though the window. He then turns to the random Average Class girl.

Teka: Who the butter toast are you?

Eliza: (irritated) AM I BEING IGNORED?!

Teka: (addressing Eliza) Look, Eliza, I'm all for guests, but not if you're going to disrespect my friends and act like you're above everyone else.

Eliza: (scoffing) Friends? Please, these people are beneath me. I'm just trying to-

Teka: (interrupting firmly) No, Eliza. Everyone deserves respect, regardless of their background or social status. If you can't treat my friends with respect, then I'm sorry, but you're not welcome here.

Eliza looked taken aback, clearly not used to being spoken to like this. Teka turned to the random Average Class girl.

Teka: (smiling) Now, back to you. Who are you?

Average Class Girl: (nervous) U-Um, I'm Lily. I was passing by and saw your friends outside, and they seemed interesting, so I thought I'd join them.

Teka: Well, Lily, you're welcome here as long as you're respectful.

Eliza huffed and stood up.

Eliza: (annoyed) Fine, have your little party with your "beneath me" friends. I have better things to do.

As Eliza stormed out, Teka shook his head in disbelief.

Teka: Some people just can't see beyond their own privilege.

The girls in the room nodded in agreement, clearly not impressed by Eliza's behavior.

Miki: (pouting) And here I thought she was going to be another potential headpat giver.

Teka chuckled and shook his head.

Teka: Let's focus on the good people in our lives. After all, it's the connections we make that truly matter.

As they settled in to enjoy their time together, Teka and his friends continued to build bonds based on respect, understanding, and shared experiences, proving that true friendship knows no social boundaries.

Suddenly, the group heard Eliza screaming, then the sound of someone falling down the stairs.

Teka exited from his apartment, walked down the hallway and saw Eliza upside down, her skirt flipped showing her strawberry panties and her making a painful annoyed sound as she's at the bottom of the stairs she fell from.

Teka could only facepalm at this.

Umi, Izara, Kay and Mako came to see what happened. When they saw Eliza on the bottom of the stairs they pointed and laughed at her.

Mako: (laughing) And I thought I was a dumb!

Teka: (deadpans at Mako) Mako. What's 1+1?

Mako: Q!

Teka:....

Teka: I rest my case.

As the group laughed, Eliza finally managed to right herself, her face red from both embarrassment and frustration.

Eliza: (sputtering) This is... all your fault! That stupid step was loose, and it tripped me!

Teka: (raising an eyebrow) Oh really? Because it seemed like the step was perfectly fine until you decided to stomp on it in a huff.

Eliza opened her mouth to retort, but Umi interjected.

Umi: (giggling) Don't worry, Eliza. Accidents happen to the best of us. Just remember, stairs can be tricky sometimes.

Eliza huffed again but didn't say anything. Teka sighed, trying to keep the situation from escalating further.

Teka: Let's all just calm down. Eliza, maybe you should head home and rest. And Lily, I hope you're still up for hanging out with this chaotic bunch.

Lily nodded with a smile, seemingly unphased by the earlier events.

Lily: Absolutely. This group seems like a lot of fun.

Teka smiled back, glad that Lily had a positive attitude. As the group dispersed and returned to their own activities, Teka couldn't help but shake his head at the rollercoaster of events that seemed to follow him everywhere. But he also knew that these experiences, both challenging and amusing, were what made life interesting and memorable.

The next day, we see Teka and a couple of Giant Class girls were cleaning the school entrance.

As Teka was cleaning the school nameplate, he noticed that it was in three languages. Memo, Japanese and English.

Teka: (reading the English name) Honeycutt Academy. I hope I said that correctly.

He and the others continued to clean as Miki came with more soap and buckets.

Miki: Who wants a bucket?

Teka: (raising his hand) I'll take one.

Miki handed Teka a bucket filled with soapy water, and he continued scrubbing the entrance with determination. The Giant Class girls were working diligently as well, making sure the area was spotless.

Teka: (looking at the clean area) There we go. Looking much better now.

One of the Giant Class girls smiled and patted Teka on the back.

Giant Class Girl: Thanks for helping out, Teka. You're really getting the hang of things around here.

Teka grinned back at her.

Teka: Just trying to do my part. It's a team effort, after all.

Miki watched them with a smile, glad to see Teka getting along so well with the other students. As they continued their cleaning, the sun began to rise higher in the sky, casting a warm and inviting glow over the school campus.

Just then a truck passes by, runs over a large puddle of dirty water and the water splashes all over the recently clean entrance.

Teka:.....

Miki:......

The Giant Class girls:........

Teka:.....You have got to be kidding me...

Miki let out a sigh, clearly annoyed by the unexpected turn of events. The Giant Class girls exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of frustration and disbelief. Teka, however, seemed to take it in stride, his face shifting from disbelief to amusement.

Teka: Well, I guess that's one way to undo our hard work.

Miki: (rolling her eyes) Unbelievable.

Giant Class Girl: (groaning) Seriously?

Teka: (chuckles) What can you do, right? Let's just do it again. We've got plenty of soap and buckets.

The Giant Class girls shared a small laugh with Teka, appreciating his positive attitude despite the setback. With renewed determination, they grabbed more buckets and began the task of cleaning the entrance once again. As they worked, the sound of their laughter echoed through the air, turning a potentially frustrating situation into a lighthearted moment of camaraderie.

Soon, a Softy Class girl in a lab coat comes holding a test tube with green bubbly liquid.

Teka raises an eyebrow at her while Miki hides behind Teka.

Teka: (skeptical) What in the name of cream puffs is that?

Nerd: A anti-rust chemical. Plus it'll help make sure nameplate will never get dirty.

One of the Giant Class girl: (amazed) Cool! I wanna see!

Teka was about to protest, but the Nerdy Softy girl poured the liquid onto the nameplate. At first it started to bubble, then the rust and dirt started coming off shocking and amazing everyone.

Teka: (amazed) Well now.

Miki: (shocked and amazed) I take everything back at what I think about you guys. That was amazing!!

Softy: (proud) Thank you.

Teka: Yeah, it's melting off the dirt!

Everyone's smile began to fade to a worried one.

Teka: And it's melting off the paint.

Everyone's worried smile faded to worried looks.

Teka: And it's melting off the metal...

*CLANG!!*

Soon, a large part of the nameplate fallen on ground melted and destroyed.

Everyone:.....

Softy:......The risk I took was calculated.....But man am I bad at math.

The group's expressions shifted from amazement to disbelief, and finally, a mixture of disbelief and awkwardness settled in.

Teka: (rubbing his forehead) Well, that was... unexpected.

Miki: (facepalming) I can't believe that just happened.

Giant Class Girl: (slow clap) Well played.

Nerdy Softy Girl: (sheepishly) Sorry about that. I miscalculated the reaction.

Teka: (sighs) It's fine. At least we tried something new.

Softy: (determined) Don't worry. I'll make it up and help fix this mess.

Teka nodded, giving her an understanding smile. The group began to clean up the fallen debris, sharing a collective sigh and chuckles at the situation. Despite the mishap, there was a sense of unity and camaraderie among them, a reminder that sometimes things don't go as planned, but it's the effort and teamwork that truly matter.
