C8-Science, Homeless and Lost Class
Later, the four were walking by the science/chemistry laboratories. Teka being curious looked through the ajar open door to see mostly nerdy looking girls making stuff.
Then he saw a tied up Miki who was about to drink a weird pink and green drink.
Teka worried about the first girl he met yesterday, kicked down the door open like SWAT surprising and scaring the girls, ran over to where Miki is, slapped the weird drink away, unties Miki and princess carries her.
Miki: Teka my hero!
Teka: (to the nerdy girls) Sorry for the inconvenience. And also. Go suck an egg.
He runs out the room still carrying Miki while Kay, Izara and Mako followed suit.
As they ran out of the science laboratory, the nerdy girls were left stunned by Teka's unexpected entrance and rescue. They couldn't believe what had just happened, and they were too shocked to even react immediately.
Outside the lab, Teka finally put Miki down, making sure she was okay.
Miki: (blushing) Thank you, Teka. You really are my hero.
Teka: (smiling) No problem, Miki. I couldn't just stand by and let them do something weird to you.
Kay: (laughing) That was quite the dramatic entrance you made.
Izara: Yeah, I've never seen someone kick down a door like that before.
Mako: It was like a superhero move! So cool, Teka!
Teka: (chuckles) Well, I just couldn't help myself. I had to make sure Miki was safe.
Miki: (holding Teka's hand) And I'm glad you did.
The four of them continued to walk through the school campus, laughing and talking about the adventure they just had. Teka couldn't help but feel grateful for the friendships he had made in such a short time. Despite the occasional chaos and quirky encounters, he was genuinely enjoying his time on Planet Memo.
As the day went on, they explored more parts of the school, had more fun, and Teka learned more about the unique cultures and customs of the different classes on the planet. He felt a strong connection to this world, and he knew he was going to have many more adventures and experiences ahead of him.
Later that night, as Teka was making his way to his apartment alone. He spotted a large cardboard box.
Teka: Dang. Someone must-have delivered something big.
As he was passing by the box. He double-takes realizing it was a homeless woman in the box.
Teka: I take everything back what I said earlier.
The woman appeared to have long messy indigo hair that has trash and bugs in it, her skin was completely dirty, both fingernails and toenails were a foot long, meaning they weren't trimmed and she was only in a trenchcoat.
To Teka, she looked dead. But he kicked her foot and she gave a wheezing response knowing that she's alive.
Teka: (picking up the woman) You may be a stranger and a homeless person. But I ain't leaving you here hungry and unclean.
Teka then takes the woman to his apartment. And the first thing he did was bathed her.
As Teka gently cleaned the woman and bathed her, he couldn't help but feel a mix of compassion and sadness for her situation. He knew how fortunate he was to have a place to call home and friends who cared about him. Seeing someone living in such difficult conditions touched his heart, and he was determined to help her in any way he could.
After the bath, he found some clothes that could fit her and made sure she was warm and comfortable. Teka then searched through his kitchen and prepared a simple meal for her, ensuring she had something to eat.
As the woman slowly regained her strength and started to feel better, she looked up at Teka with a glimmer of gratitude in her eyes. She didn't say much, but her expression spoke volumes.
Teka: (smiling) You're welcome. It's the least I could do.
The woman attempted to say something, but her voice was weak, and Teka could barely make out the words.
Teka: Don't worry, you'll be okay now. Rest here for the night, and we'll figure out a better solution for you tomorrow.
Teka decided to let her rest in his apartment for the night, making sure she had a comfortable place to sleep. He found some blankets and made a makeshift bed for her on the couch.
As he watched over her while she slept, he couldn't help but think about how different life was for each individual on Planet Momo. While he had many privileges as an Earthling hybrid, this woman was living in dire conditions, struggling to survive.
The next morning, Teka woke up to find the woman already gone. He hoped she had found a safer place to stay, but he couldn't help feeling a bit sad that he didn't get to properly say goodbye or help her further.
However, Teka knew that he had done what he could in that moment, and he was grateful for the opportunity to extend a helping hand to someone in need. He knew that the world he now lived in was full of both joys and challenges, and he was ready to face whatever came his way with an open heart and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of those around him.
And so, Teka's journey on Planet Memo continued, not just as a high school transfer student, but as someone who would never turn a blind eye to those in need, no matter how big or small their struggles might be.
We then see Teka shopping for groceries at a supermarket. While he was shopping he spotted the woman from last night begging for money in front of the store. Teka sighs and continued shopping.
Later, Teka comes out the store and meets the woman. She looks at him with a genuine smile.
Teka: You know you can always stay at my place.
The woman stood surprised, but looked behind Teka with a shocked and scared look and hid behind Teka.
Teka: What's wrong?
Teka looks to see a couple of rich wealthy looking students passing by chatting with themselves and ignoring anyone that doesn't look like the 1%.
Teka looks at woman.
Teka: Were you a student from that school where them rich students come from?
The woman nodded and held onto Teka.
Later, we see Teka at his school campus with the woman and asked Miki about the wealthy students.
Miki: (sighs) You just saw Saint Queen's Academy students. Rich, wealthy and a bunch of jerks. Especially to Lost Class.
Teka: Lost Class?
Miki: That girl behind you holding onto you for dearly. She's a Lost Class. Their a class of Memos that are rare and very nomadic. As in, they are looking for a safe haven. My guess, this girl forged her documents to get in that school.
Teka: Meaning the school found out the forgery and kicked her out.
Miki: That's right.
Teka's heart went out to the woman, now knowing that she had been trying to find a better life and education by forging her way into a prestigious school, only to be rejected and left in desperate circumstances. He couldn't bear to see her struggle any longer, and he was determined to help her find a place where she could belong and be safe.
Teka: (firmly) Well, she won't be lost anymore. She can stay with me until we figure something out.
Miki: (smiling) That's very kind of you, Teka. But you have to be careful. Saint Queen's Academy is known for its influential students, and they might not take kindly to someone interfering with their business.
Teka: I don't care about that. She needs help, and I won't turn my back on her.
Miki nodded, understanding Teka's determination. She knew that Teka had a big heart and cared deeply for others, no matter their background or status.
Miki: Alright, just be cautious. And let's see if there's anything we can do to help her find a place where she can be accepted and safe.
Teka spent the day trying to find a solution for the woman, reaching out to different organizations and shelters that could provide assistance to nomadic Memos like her. He also contacted some of his friends, including Izara and Kay, who were willing to offer their support and help as well.
In the end, they managed to find a place for the woman to stay temporarily, and Teka made sure she had access to resources and support to help her get back on her feet. He knew that her journey to finding a safe haven wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to be there for her every step of the way.
As the days went by, Teka continued to support the woman, building a friendship and bond that transcended their differences. He showed her kindness, understanding, and acceptance, and in return, she found a sense of belonging and trust in Teka.
In the process, Teka learned more about the struggles and challenges faced by the Lost Class Memos, and he became an advocate for their rights and well-being. He used his platform as a well-regarded Earthling hybrid at the school to raise awareness and promote inclusivity and compassion.
Over time, Teka's actions inspired others in the school to show empathy and support for the Lost Class and other marginalized groups. The school slowly began to change, becoming more inclusive and accepting of Memos from all backgrounds and classes.
Teka's journey on Planet Memo was not just about his adventures and experiences as a high school student but also about the impact he had on the world around him. His kindness, compassion, and determination to make a difference touched the lives of many, and he became a symbol of hope and unity.
And so, Teka's time on Planet Memo was marked not only by thrilling escapades and unforgettable encounters but also by the lasting impact he left on the hearts of those he encountered and the world he called home.
Two weeks later, the woman was seen painting a picture in the Major Arts Hallway. She is now a student at the school and is wearing the uniform with a smile.
Teka: (passing by) Hey Luna! How are things?
The woman whose name is Luna Marceau and is 15 years old turned around to see her savior.
Luna: Hi Teka! I'm doing fabulous here! Koala is waiting for you in the room for you.
Teka: Thanks. Posing to be drawn will be either a nerve-racking or a positive experience.
Luna: (chuckles) You know Koala will be calm and happy painting your picture. Now you better get there before she cries.
Teka: Will do. And beautiful picture by the way.
Luna: (blushing) Thank you.
Teka made his way to the room where Koala was waiting to paint his picture. He opened the door to find Koala sitting there with a serene smile on her face, holding her paintbrush and canvas.
Koala: (looking up) Oh, Teka! You're here.
Teka: (smiling) Hey, Koala. Luna told me you were waiting for me.
Koala: (nodding) Yes, I wanted to paint your portrait. It's been on my mind since the first time we met.
Teka: I'm honored. Go ahead and work your magic.
Koala gestured for Teka to sit on a stool as she set up her paints and canvas. Teka obliged, taking a seat as Koala focused her attention on him.
As Koala started painting, Teka couldn't help but watch her work. He admired her dedication and passion, and he was curious to see how she would capture him on the canvas.
Time passed as Koala painted, and Teka could see the image slowly taking shape. He was impressed by her skill and artistic talent. Throughout the process, they chatted and shared stories, building a connection that went beyond words.
Finally, Koala put down her paintbrush and looked at her creation with a satisfied smile. Teka turned to see the portrait, and he was taken aback by the beauty and depth of the painting. Koala had captured not just his physical appearance but also a sense of his personality and spirit.
Teka: (amazed) Koala, this is incredible. You're truly talented.
Koala: (blushing) Thank you, Teka. I'm glad you like it.
Teka: Like it? I love it. You've captured something special here.
Koala's eyes lit up with happiness, and Teka felt a warm sense of appreciation and connection with her. As he looked at the painting, he realized that his time on Planet Memo had been filled with unexpected friendships, adventures, and moments that had changed his perspective and shaped his journey.
Teka's story continued to unfold, each day bringing new experiences and opportunities to make a positive impact on the world around him. And as he looked at the portrait painted by a newfound friend, he knew that his time on Planet Memo was far from over, and there was still much more to discover and explore.
