Three days later, Aoto was lounging by the pools, enjoying the clear, cool water and the relaxing atmosphere. The sound of splashing and laughter echoed around the area as students enjoyed the poolside, but something—or someone—caught his attention.
Walking across the pool deck was Ay, wearing his swimming trunks and sporting an array of claw and bite marks across his shoulders and neck. His dark skin was marked by a few fresh hickeys, and the usually confident and laid-back Warrior Class hybrid looked like a man who had been through war.
Aoto raised an eyebrow in a mix of concern and amusement, watching Ay as he approached. The marks were unmistakable. Nami had definitely had her way with him. As Ay got closer, Aoto couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy. It wasn't hard to figure out what had happened.
"Ay, man... you look like you just fought a damn mountain lion," Aoto said, his tone halfway between a joke and genuine concern.
Ay shook his head with a tired, almost shell-shocked expression as he sank down into a pool chair beside Aoto. "Bruh... Nami is something else. I don't know if I survived or if I just barely made it out alive."
Aoto tried to hold back a laugh but failed miserably, chuckling as he glanced at the battle scars Ay was sporting. "She got you good, huh?"
Ay leaned his head back, staring up at the sky with a groan. "Good? Bro, she was like a wild animal. It started out normal enough, you know, just... hanging out, but the next thing I know..." He motioned to the claw marks on his neck. "These? Yeah, she wasn't holding back. And her tongues—bro, you have no idea."
Aoto winced in empathy, imagining the scene. "Yeah, I know those Warrior Class girls can get pretty... intense." He gave Ay a pat on the back. "But damn, dude. You might need to get checked out. Like, for real."
Ay nodded slowly. "Yeah, I might. She said it was 'safe,' but I'm not so sure anymore." He sighed, looking down at the marks. "I mean, don't get me wrong, it was... good. Really good. But also terrifying at the same time. I'm not even sure if I'll survive the next time."
Aoto stifled another laugh. "Well, at least now you know what you're dealing with. Maybe ease into it next time. Or, you know... run."
Ay chuckled weakly. "Yeah, running might be the better option." He paused for a moment, then gave Aoto a sidelong glance. "Speaking of which, how are you holding up with your Warrior Class ladies? Or are they still just messing with you?"
Aoto rubbed the back of his head, thinking about Matie, Kay, Rika, and the others. "Man, they're all over me. It's... overwhelming, to say the least. But they haven't been as aggressive as Nami, at least not yet."
Ay smirked through the exhaustion, giving Aoto a knowing look. "Oh, they will be. Just wait. Those Warrior Class girls don't hold back when they want something."
Aoto nodded, fully understanding the struggle. "Yeah, I'm starting to get that vibe." He paused for a moment before adding, "But dude, you really should take a break. Maybe hide out for a bit."
Ay leaned back, letting out a long sigh. "Yeah, man. I think I'm gonna need a vacation after this."
The two sat in comfortable silence for a while, both contemplating the whirlwind of relationships they had gotten themselves into. The poolside atmosphere was peaceful, but the reality of being entangled with Warrior Class girls was anything but calm.
Aoto gave Ay a friendly nudge. "At least we're not alone in this mess."
Ay chuckled. "Yeah, man. We're in this together. Warrior Class girls or not, we'll survive."
As the day went on, the two of them sat by the pool, recovering in their own way, knowing full well that this was only the beginning of their crazy, unpredictable lives on Planet Comoros.
Later that evening, Aoto was relaxing in his apartment, scrolling through the CherryWood Academy group chat on his phone. It was the usual chaos: memes, jokes, gossip, and random discussions about school events. His focus was entirely on the screen until he started hearing pounding noises coming from the ceiling above him.
At first, Aoto thought it was someone jumping on their bed like a hyperactive fat kid. But as the pounding grew more intense, the rhythmic thumping started to paint a very different picture in his mind. His face began to flush as he realized what was really going on—Ay and Nami were going at it again... upstairs.
Aoto tried to ignore it, but the intensity of the sounds only increased. The pounding got faster, and the creaking of the bed above became relentless. Aoto felt his blush deepen as he set his phone down, covering his face with both hands.
"Goddamn it, Ay..." Aoto muttered to himself, half embarrassed and half feeling bad for his friend. He could only imagine what kind of strength Nami was using up there, and suddenly, Ay's "war wounds" from earlier made perfect sense.
The pounding became even more intense, and Aoto winced at the thought of what Ay's pelvis must be going through at that very moment. He let out a heavy sigh, knowing Ay would need more than just rest after this.
Aoto muttered under his breath, "Damn... I hope Ay has health insurance that covers Warrior Class-related injuries..."
He tried to drown out the sound by turning up the volume on his phone, but it was no use. Every thud from the floor above sent vibrations through his apartment. CherryWood Academy might have its wild moments, but this was a whole new level.
Shaking his head, Aoto grabbed his pillow, pressing it against his ears, hoping it would muffle the noise.
"Fuckin' hell..." he groaned, already dreading the idea of seeing Ay the next day. He'd probably need to take Ay to the hospital if this kept up much longer.
As the thudding reached a crescendo, Aoto gave up on reading his group chat and instead grabbed his keys, muttering, "I'm going for a walk..."
Anything to escape the racket that was echoing from above.
Aoto needed to clear his head after the thunderous noises from above, so he grabbed his jacket and stepped out for an evening walk. The cool night air was refreshing, and the sky was clear with the moon shining brightly. As he walked along the quiet streets, he soon found himself wandering toward the park, seeking peace and maybe some distraction.
As fate would have it, Mako appeared in the distance, sitting on a park bench, looking up at the stars. She hadn't noticed Aoto yet, lost in her thoughts. Her white hair glowed softly under the moonlight, and for a moment, Aoto found himself mesmerized by how serene she looked.
"Mako?" Aoto called softly, walking up to her.
She turned, her face lighting up with her usual bright smile. "Aoto! What are you doing out here?"
Aoto sat down beside her, chuckling softly. "Just... needed to get out of the apartment for a bit. What about you?"
Mako stretched, giving a little yawn. "Just wanted some fresh air... and maybe to think about you."
Aoto blinked at that, his face warming slightly. "Oh?"
Mako nodded, her usual carefree demeanor softening as she gazed at him. "Yeah... I've been thinking about how nice it's been since you came to Planet Comoros. Everything's been so... different, in a good way."
There was a pause, a comfortable silence between them. They both looked up at the moon, feeling the cool breeze and enjoying the quiet of the park. It was peaceful, and Aoto felt a sense of calm wash over him, especially with Mako beside him.
And then, without warning, Mako leaned closer, her eyes filled with warmth and a certain tenderness Aoto hadn't seen before.
He felt his heart skip a beat as she whispered, "Can I kiss you?"
Aoto, a little stunned, hesitated for a moment but then nodded. "Yeah..."
Their lips met softly, the world around them fading away as they shared a sweet kiss under the moonlight. For a moment, everything felt perfect—just the two of them, connected in that gentle moment. But then, as if something clicked, the kiss grew more intense.
Mako's arms wrapped around Aoto's neck, pulling him closer, and Aoto instinctively placed his hands on her waist. What started as a soft kiss quickly escalated into something much more passionate. Their breathing became heavier, and the intensity of the moment deepened as they found themselves lost in each other.
The moonlight bathed them in a soft glow as they continued to kiss, their lips moving in sync as the world around them seemed to disappear entirely. Mako's fingers tangled in Aoto's hair, and she let out a soft, breathy moan against his lips, causing Aoto's heart to race even faster.
Aoto couldn't deny how much he enjoyed the moment. The warmth of Mako's body pressed against his, the way her lips moved so eagerly against his—it was electric. He didn't want it to end, and by the way Mako was kissing him, it seemed she didn't either.
They finally pulled apart after what felt like forever, both of them breathing heavily, their faces flushed and hearts pounding. Mako giggled, looking a little dazed. "That was... wow."
Aoto smiled sheepishly, feeling the same. "Yeah... definitely wow."
They stayed close, neither one wanting to move, the moon still watching over them as they basked in the afterglow of their intense makeout session. It was clear now—there was something undeniable between them.
"Let's do that again sometime," Mako whispered with a smirk.
Aoto grinned. "Yeah... definitely."
As they sat together, the warmth from their kiss still lingered, and a comfortable silence fell between them. Mako leaned her head on Aoto's shoulder, a contented sigh escaping her. She intertwined her fingers with his, and Aoto felt a strange but wonderful sense of peace. With her by his side under the moon's gentle glow, the chaos of his recent days at CherryWood Academy seemed far away.
They stayed like that for a while, just enjoying each other's company. Every so often, Mako would glance up at him, her cheeks dusted with a soft blush, and Aoto couldn't help but smile back, feeling his own face grow warm.
After a bit, Mako broke the silence, her voice barely above a whisper. "Aoto... I didn't think I'd ever feel this way about someone. But you... I don't know, you're different. And you make me feel... safe. Happy."
Aoto squeezed her hand, looking out at the shimmering reflection of the moon on the nearby pond. "Mako... honestly, I didn't expect things to turn out like this either. But I'm glad they did. You've made this place feel like home in a way I never thought possible."
Mako lifted her head, her eyes shimmering. She chuckled softly, a bit of mischief sneaking into her smile. "Does this mean I'm officially your favorite?"
Aoto laughed, rolling his eyes playfully. "Favorite, huh? Well, you're definitely up there... maybe top ten."
Mako pouted, swatting his arm lightly. "Top ten? Oh, you're really asking for it now!"
Before Aoto could react, Mako wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him in for another kiss, this one even more heated than before. Aoto returned her passion, his hands finding their way to her waist as they lost themselves in the moment once again.
When they finally pulled away, both breathless and grinning, Mako leaned in close, her forehead resting against his. "So, does that mean I'm at least in the top three now?"
Aoto chuckled, wrapping his arms around her. "Fine, fine. Top three... but you're really making a case for number one."
They both laughed softly, and as they sat there in each other's embrace, Aoto knew that this connection with Mako was something truly special.
Just as Aoto and Mako sat in their quiet, warm embrace, a figure caught his eye as she approached. A female student from Nissin Tech Academy was walking down the same path, her gaze flickering toward them with mild interest. She had long, jet-black hair cascading over her shoulders, sharp eyes that held a curious glint, and a swagger that matched her confident smirk as she noticed the couple.
With a teasing grin, she slowed her pace, raising an eyebrow as she took in the scene. "Well, well," she drawled, crossing her arms. "Looks like CherryWood Academy's golden boy is out here making memories, huh?"
Aoto glanced over, somewhat surprised, but kept his composure. "Is there a reason you're watching us?" he asked, half-amused, half-annoyed.
She laughed, waving her hand dismissively. "Relax, I'm not here to interrupt your little romantic moment... unless you're inviting me, that is." Her smirk widened as she eyed Aoto playfully, clearly enjoying the subtle annoyance she was stirring.
Mako, sensing the girl's attitude, tightened her grip on Aoto's arm and shot her a glare. "He's taken, so maybe keep walking," she said, her voice steely.
The Nissin Tech girl raised an eyebrow at Mako's protective tone, looking amused. "Ooh, feisty. I like that." She chuckled, glancing back at Aoto. "No need to get defensive, sweetheart. Just saying, I've heard quite a bit about CherryWood's favorite Earth human, and I wanted to see if he lives up to the hype."
Aoto let out a sigh, trying to keep things civil. "Well, you've seen me now. You can go back and tell everyone I'm as boring as they come."
The girl tilted her head, clearly not convinced. "Boring? I doubt it. But don't worry, I won't spoil your little date here. See you around, CherryWood boy." With a wink, she turned on her heel and sauntered off, her laughter echoing down the path as she disappeared into the shadows.
Mako relaxed her grip, muttering, "Next time I see her, I'll make sure she knows exactly who you're with."
Aoto laughed, patting her head gently. "I don't think she'll be forgetting anytime soon." He turned back to her, squeezing her hand. "You ready to get out of here?"
Mako nodded, her eyes softened, and as they walked away from the park, Aoto knew he'd just cemented his place at the top of Mako's heart—something not even the sharpest Nissin Tech student could come close to challenging.
