After that day you have to end up taking a few weeks off work, due to the threat meaning you have to cancel all your appointments. Sho is a bit upset about it but you advise him that you'll book him as soon as you're back at work. Katsuki is amazing with Haru and around the house in general. He ends up still having to work but everyone takes turns staying home or going on errands with you.

It's nice because you get to know everyone better, finding out more about what they've been up to. The three of you in the house make invites for Haru's party, inviting the other heroes and their children. Mei can't make it due to being so close to going into labour. Also, your ankle has nearly fully healed thanks to Midnight persuading Recovery Girl to work her magic. All though it only cuts the healing time by a week for you since healing quirks aren't that effective on you.

Even though things are good between Katsuki and yourself, he has still been sleeping in a separate room, with nothing further than the odd brush of fingertips and hand holding from time to time. Both of you unable to take your eyes off each other whenever you're alone, but both terrified to make the first move. 

Finally, it's time for the hospital appointment you've been waiting to see if you are able to take the case off. Due to this Haru is going to a sleepover at the Todoroki house, and will be joined by little Max Kirishima. Mina felt it would be good to go out for food with herself, Ejirio and Katsuki later that evening. 

That morning you're woken up to a Haru jumping on the bed "Mummy. Your foot should be better today for my big party next week!" giggling as you tackled him towards you. "I know then we can boogie together all night long!" laughing along with him before a knock at the bedroom door.

 "Morning!" Katsuki walks in with a tray with food on just wear some short, his perfect abs on show, with it many war wounds from battles with villains.

"Me and Katsuki made us breakfast in bed. I told him that Daddy used to do it and now that he is being my new daddy he needs to step up!" Haru had the biggest grin on his face, as you look at the man in question. 

"Haru, I'm not your daddy remember." Katsuki smiles as you glance at him, trying to explain to your son who has become very attached to the man in question.

"I know, but you love mummy, the same as daddy did!" the little guy smirking smugly, the spitting image of what Ash would look like when he was right about something. 

"You don't miss anything do you!" Katsuki comments placing the tray of food on your lap.

Haru instantly grabbing some strawberry jam on toast "Thank you, Katsuki!" he smiles sweetly as he begins to tuck in. 

"No problem! I'll go eat mine downstairs" Katsuki cover of his mouth lifting slightly. As he starts walking away, Haru stops eating to look at you with a 'mummy, can Katsuki eat with us' look bring a smile to your lips, as you pick up your coffee cup. 

"Ermm...if you want to bring it up. There is plenty of room for you in the bed!" blushing behind your cup as you take a cup of the heavenly liquid.

"Nah, you guys need mummy and son time!" his voice is rough like he really wants to say yes, but at the same time he is holding back. Not wanting to push his luck and ruin the relationship the two of you had begun to build again. 

 "Katsuki pleaseeeee!" Haru calls out making the man stop in his tracks. If there was one thing the rough ash-blonde couldn't say no to, it was Haru. This thing is the little black-haired boy with the ocean blue eyes, had worked this out pretty quickly. Being the spitting image as his dad in every way, and great at reading people.

The red eyes of the man glance towards space beside the woman he loved and her little boy, a tiny blush on his cheeks. It made him blush at just how much he just wanted to sit next to you and lose hours laughing at the goofy things you and Haru would do. All he manages in response to the boy's request is nod his head.  Before striding down to the kitchen before returning with his own breakfast. 

Haru ends up eating more of Katsuki's breakfast than his own. Of course, the blonde was getting used to this being a regular occurrence, since Haru was his number one fan. "You learn that to live with a four-year-old, you need to make more food!" smirking at being able to enjoy all of your food for a change, without having to share it with the tiny neverending dustbin of a child. 

"Mummy I'm nearly the big five!" Haru looking proud of himself since he would soon be turning the big five. 

 "That's true." you laugh at the overconfident boy, as you ruffle his messy black bed-headed locks. "Thanks for the breakfast! It's nice to get a day off!" you smile at the ash-blonde who seemed a little quiet on the quiet side since he got into the bed. "You ok?" turning to face him, a little concerned that something bad has happened.

"Yeh. I'm just thinking. I've really enjoyed staying with you." even though his face looked as it always did, you could see the emotion behind his two crimson orbs. The look they held, was as if he felt you were leaving again. That you wouldn't allow him to be as close as he was in this moment in time. You felt if he could freeze time right now he would. 

"Well...when this is all over you can come round whenever." you smile reassuringly looking into his eyes with yours. Unlike his emotional red ones, yours held the promise that you weren't going anywhere and that he was always welcome.

"Mummy why can't Katsuki live with u?!" Haru had caught onto the conversation and was smart enough to work out what the man's words meant. Glancing at your little monster usually fully of giggles and laughter, you could see that he was on the brink of tears. At the time you accepted Katsuki to move in, you had thought Haru understood that it was temporary. However, looking at him in this moment of time, you could tell the bond the two males had created in such a short period of time. 

If you were being honest with yourself, you would be sad to see the grumpy looking ash blonde not moping around or chipping in with the housework. As much as you wanted to say he could stay, you knew you couldn't be selfish and that Katsuki had his own life. 

"Well. He has his own home remember and he was just helping mummy, whilst her leg was broken!" smiling as you look towards the man you'd fallen hopelessly back in love with. He could never replace Ash but you never really did stop loving him.

"It's ok little man. If you ever need me and I'm not here or out saving people, and it's ok with your mummy. I guess I can come to visit and we can go to the park and lots of really cool places!" Luckily, his words get Haru distracted and back onto his breakfast that ends up making your bedsheets a crumby mess.

Finishing up Katsuki grabs the dishes, taking them downstairs as you snuggle up to your little monster. "Hey mummy!" he lies on your legs looking up into your eyes as you look down grinning.

"You think daddy is watching us?" the look in his eyes that he gives you almost breaks your heart, whilst Katsuki stands listening outside the door for a moment. 

"I think he is ya know. He also told Katsuki to come to look after us, if anything bad ever happened." Stroking the hair from off his forehead you can see the tiny coggs in his head whirring at your words.

"Were daddy and Katsuki friends?" he queries as you remember everything from school.

"Yes, baby. One time, Daddy and Katsuki fell asleep snuggling mummy. That was a long time ago. They use to look after mummy together as well, but then mummy and daddy decided it would be best if Katsuki became the best hero he could be. We missed him soo much, but then daddy got back in touch so that Katsuki could meet you. As you're mine and daddy's number one hero!"  Sighing you know he wasn't old enough to really understand what you were explaining.

"I'm sad, mummy." he started to cry a little but then stopped himself while you wiped his tears "I miss daddy but I like Katsuki pretending to be my daddy." he smiled as he confirmed what you had assumed the little boy was feeling towards the man living in your home. 

"Your daddy would be so proud of the big boy your becoming and it's ok to like Katsuki that way. I'm sure one day he is going to be a great daddy to some children" he smiled at that not missing a beat as usual.

"Does that mean you and Katsuki can have a baby brother and sister for me to look after?" this made both you and the man standing outside the door choke. The noise gave away his location outside the room. Due to this, he decided to walk in snuggling up into the bed with you, since this was possibly the last week in the house. Haru moved slightly so that his body was over the grown man's legs, with his tiny head on your lap.

"You know maybe one day, but your mummy misses your daddy. Ok, Buddy ?" he taps the little guy's nose with his large rough finger playfully. 

"Ok. You should start smooching mummy. Then you can make a baby!" Haru blurted out like it was as simple as that. 

"Oh, sweetie! Did daddy tell you that?" by this point you're trying not to laugh out loud since the little guy looked very serious in his words. 

 "Yep!" he started giggling at remembering some of the things you and Ash would "Remember you used to smooch before you met daddy, right mummy!" he glanced at the blonde-haired man which made Katsuki smirk.

"I would love to smooch your mummy. She gives the best ones!" his words were like music to your ears as that is all you wanted. However, it was funny hearing such a grumpy husky voice saying 'smooch' it made you laugh. 

"How about I give you a big smooch?" you pout before you start kissing Haru's face as he wiggled and thrashed in your grip. 

"Nooooooo! I'm too big for that, mummy!" he started wriggling around even more before eventually getting free. Jumping off the bed he ran out of the door to his own room, as the two of you both lay in bed laughing at Haru's actions. 

Katsuki's head moved to lean on your shoulder. His arms wrapped around your waist as he pulled your body closer to his. "You know I really do want to smooch you!" lifting his head slightly to smirk at you, full of the confidence you remembered from the first day you met. 

What you hadn't noticed through all the wiggling, was Haru had grabbed your phone off the side. You also hadn't noticed him now pretending to be a ninja as he poked his tiny head back around the door frame. He didn't know what he was doing when he accidentally face-timed Shoto.

"Haru, is mummy ok?" the man asked. The two of you were too busy talking that you hadn't noticed or heard anything as if in your own little world.

"Uncle Shosho, I think Katsuki is going to finally smooch Mummy!" he smirked whispering, as the man on the other side quietly grabbed Momo's attention. 

"Be a ninja and show us but quiet!" Momo added trying to not to laugh, as his little head popped around the corner facing the phone towards the two of you.

"You would want one because you're a perv!" you laugh as he grabs your face with one hand making it look at him. 

"I don't care. I'm not going to be staying here much longer. Just one to say thank you?" he smiled trying to act cute as you pouted, with rosy cheeks. "If you pull that face I will want more!" placing his arm around your back he pulled you in even but you let him. Loving the feeling of being in his arms.

That when your lips touched each others it was as if every bit of tension between the two of you was released. Grabbing his face it makes the long-awaited kiss become even deeper and passionate. His strong arms moving your body underneath him, the two of you getting completely lost in the moment. 

"EWWWWWW!" Haru screamed running onto the bed making you both turn in shock before laughing. 

"See we smooched. Happy?" you question Haru but are surprised at the voice you hear responding. 

"About time!" Momo's posh tone ring into the room, as you notice your phone in Haru's small hand. As you take it off him and lift the screen you see a very smug-looking Momo and Shoto. Your face is instantly as red as a tomato! However, the man next to you had the smuggest shit-eating grin on his face.

"Good work Haru! We have a reward for you tonight!" Shoto laughed making you just burst out laughing along with the others. 

"Can't keep anything a secret in this house?" chuckling as you feel a needy Katsuki snuggle into your side. All he could think was the fact he could have you all to his self tonight, once the Kirishima's had gone to bed. 

"You two look good together! Don't they Haru?" Momo comments as the little guys pops up next to Katsuki, giving the man a hug and a fist bump.

 "Yep but I think mummy has a fever now she is really hot!" he placed his little hand on your forehead. The look of concern on his face, as you explained to him that you were just really warm due to Katsuki's quirk and there was nothing to worry about. After that, you explained nothing else had happened. It was just a thank you kiss in which they didn't believe you at all. Then it was eventually time to get ready for the hospital.
