Will smiles as he looks at his students. "Okay, everybody, let's hear it for love! Your assignment for Valentine's week is to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. Now, Regionals is next week, and we still need to raise $250 for costumes and hair spray." He says.
"Oh, God, not another bake sale." Angie groans.
"If any student gives ten dollars, we will sing these "world's greatest love songs" to their Valentine. We will serenade each classroom..." Will continues.
"No!" New Directions shoot it down.
"Yes!" Will encourages.
"Two years ago, we went room-to-room Christmas caroling, they threw food." Tina reminisces.
"And shoes." Finn adds.
Sugar raises her hand. "Yes, Sugar?" Will asks.
"Here's a spoonful of Sugar for you all: Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff when you're rich. So, here you go." Sugar says, handing Will $250.
"Uh, Sugar, I can't take that." Will declines.
"Take it!" Kurt and Angie say.
"Okay. Everyone, give it up for Sugar for paying for our FinalNet and cumberbunds!" Will says.
The New Directions cheer happily that they don't have to raise the money.
"I love the sound of applause, even if I have to buy it. Okay, everyone, look under your chairs. Except you, Artie. Your chair kept moving, so I hid your surprise in the wastebasket." Sugar says.
Puck has chocolate on his face. "I found mine ten minutes ago."
"V-Day is my fave day ever. And to help me celebrate, my daddy's throwing me a huge, ridic party at Breadstix. And I'm naming it the Sugar Shack. And... drumroll, Rachel... you're all invited! But you have to bring a date. No single people allowed. They're sad and boring and they don't exist in my world." Sugar says.
"Um, but you're single." Angie points out.
Sugar smirks. "Not for long."

I'm attending a God Squad meeting. The God Squad is a club that consists of me, Mercedes, Quinn and Sam.
"I now call this meeting of the God Squad to order. Thank you guys for coming. Our first order of business is to welcome Quinn Fabray back into the fold." Mercedes says.
"It's nice to see you, Quinn." Sam says.
"Thank you. I know it's been a while. When I was at my lowest, I turned to prayer. Not even sure who I was praying to, really, but it seemed to lead me on the right track." Quinn tells us.
"Amen." I say.
"Praise." Mercedes claims.
Sam raises his hand. "Can I ask a question? What's with tarantula head over here?" He asks, motioning to a kid with dreadlocks.
Mercedes smiles. "This is our new member. This is Joseph Hart, but you guys can call him Joe. He just transferred here to McKinley."
Joe nods. "Yeah, I guess I'm a sophomore. I've been homeschooled my whole life, but this past year I realized my best friend was my mom, so I decided I wanted to get out and experience the world."
"Joseph. What's with the tats?" Sam asks.
"Bible quotes. And each one of my dreads is named after a book of the Bible." Joe says.
"You have got to be kidding me." Quinn says quietly. I nudge her gently.
"I play guitar, too, but I only know Christian stuff. My dad only listens to talk radio, and we don't have a TV. You guys mind if I take off my shoes? I'm sort of used to going to school barefoot." Joe says.
"I'm just glad there's another dude around here. I notice that Shane isn't a member of the God Squad. That's interesting." Sam says.
Oh yeah, Shane is Mercedes's boyfriend.
"Okay, that's enough, Sam." I tell him.
"All right, so our last meeting we talked about opportunities for community service. Uh, Valentine's Day's right around the corner, and since the Glee Club turned it down, there's an open slot for singing telegrams." Mercedes suggests.
"All five of us sing, and Teen Jesus and I play guitar, so I thought we could use the money to adopt a highway and start a shoe drive." Sam says.
"Praise." Mercedes says.
"It is a religious holiday... St. Valentine's and all that. And I'd love to show this school that it's cool to be Christian. We aren't all just door-to-door Bible salesmen, like my dad." Joe adds in.
"All right, all in favor?" Mercedes asks. All of our hands go up.
"Righteous." Joe says.

The next day, Finn and I stand in the center of the choir room.
"Angie, you had an announcement?" Mr. Shue asks.
I nod. "Yeah, actually, Finn and I have an announcement we'd like to make." She says.
I inhale deeply.
"Finn and I are proud to announce... that we're finally getting married." I announce, holding up my ring-clad hand.
"What?" Tina says.
"Wow!" Brittany exclaims.
"When's the baby's due date?" Puck asks.
"Wait, guys, have you both carefully thought this through?" Mr. Shue asks.
"Yes. And our parents are totally behind us. And your plan to stop us by telling them totally backfired, Mr. Shue." Finn says.
Kurt raises his hand. "Actually, I'm the one who told them. Because I think you guys are making a mistake. A huge mistake." He says.
Oh yeah. Our parents know we're getting married.
"When's the wedding?" Rachel asks.
Finn and I smile. "The date is TBD, but I can assure all of you that we're gonna have a very simple and elegant ceremony at the Justice of the Peace, which all of you are invited to. And we're registered at Samuel French." I explain.
"You guys aren't mature enough or old enough to properly face this type of commitment." Quinn says.
"If you don't support us, then I feel sorry for you, and you're not invited to the wedding. Which makes me really sad, because I would have loved to have seen you in a bridesmaid's dress, Quinn. And you as well, Kurt." I tell them.
"I'd be happy to be a bridesmaid, Angie. I'm not sure I'm ready to get married, but I do know what being in love feels like. We'll be there." Tina says for her and Mike.
"I'll be there." Rachel says, shocking the others. "What? We can't stop them even if we tried, so we might as well show up and be supportive."
"Thanks, guys." Finn says.
"And we hope the rest of you all change your minds, because it would mean a lot to us if you were all there." I add.
"Well, add me to the list of people who are wishing you guys the best in your marriage, even though I still think you're too young. And I will be there at your wedding, big sis. However, let's stop the fighting and remind ourselves that Valentine's Day is rapidly approaching." Artie says.
"If you'll excuse me." Artie adds as he wheels go the center of the room.
"Yeah. Sorry." Finn says as we go to sit down.
"Congrats, though. I got some sugary sweet game to spit. Give me a beat, Finn." He says as Finn walks over to the drums.
Artie sings Mario's 'Let Me Love You' to Sugar.
[Let Me Love You by Artie]
I clap for Artie's performance.
/ / /
I see Kurt has another gift from his 'secret admirer.' I really think that it's Blaine.
Mr. Shue sighs. "Everyone, sit down, uh, listen up. Rory has the floor." He says.
Rory looks sad. "I've been trying to get my student visa extended, so I can spend junior year at McKinley, but I just found out the request was turned down. So when the school year ends, I'll have to go back to Ireland." He reveals.
"What?" Finn says.
"I miss my family so much, but you guys have become my second family. This song reminds me of you guys and... how much I've grown to love each and every single one of you, and how thankful I am that you've made a place, 3,000 miles away from Ireland, feel like home. And I asked Angie to help sing this with me because she knows the song best." Rory says.
I stand up and walk over to Rory. We're singing the Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert version of Michael Bublé's 'Home.'
[Home by Rory and Angie]
Everyone looks sad when we finish and Sugar walks up to Rory.
"Rory... I feel worse for you than I do for Artie. Will you be my date for Valentine's Day?" She asks.
Rory smiles gently. "It would be an honor."
I feel bad that Artie just lost Sugar to Rory.
My brother will find someone special one day.

I decide to eat lunch outside with Santana, who's telling me that a student filed a claim about Brittana showing PDA in school.
Honestly, I agree with Santana; there's a double standard here. They can let Kurt and Blaine hold hands in the hallway, but Brittany and Santana aren't even allowed to kiss. It's not fair.
I see my fellow God Squad members walk up to me.
"Excuse me. Are you Miss Angie Abrams?" Mercedes asks.
I chuckle. "Um... yeah."
"We have a singing telegram to you from one Finn Hudson." Quinn states.
My heart swells. Finn did this for me? He's the sweetest guy on the planet!
Quinn, Mercedes, Sam and Joe perform 'Stereo Hearts' to me, and I see that there's members of a church choir dressed in red robes singing background.
[Stereo Hearts by The God Squad minus Angie]
After the performance is over, I'm holding a chocolate rose.
"'Happy Valentine's Day. Love, Finn.'" Mercedes says.
I hug her and Quinn. "You guys are so awesome."
I have an amazing fiancé and badass friends.

I'm attending a God Squad meeting. Usually, we schedule Tuesday meetings, but that's not my main concern. Santana wants us to sing a song to Brittany. While Mercedes, Sam, Quinn and I are supportive of LGBTQ people, Joe might not be.
"All right, guys. We have to have a discussion and figure out what the God Squad feels about singing to gay people." Mercedes says.
"Well, four of us are in Glee Club, so we pretty much sing to gay people all the time." Sam says.
"I know we're okay with it, but Joe may not be." I state.
"I try my best not to judge anybody. But, honestly, I've never met anyone who's gay." Joe says.
"Oh, I guarantee you have." Quinn speaks.
Mercedes nods. "Yeah, they say that one out of every ten people are gay. And if that's true, that means one of the 12 apostles might have been gay. And my guess is Simon because that name's the gayest." Mercedes says.
"The Bible says it's an abomination for a man to lay down with another man, but we shared tents in Cub Scouts and slept next to each other all the time... so that would make Cub Scouts an abomination?" Sam asks.
"Do you know what else the Bible says is an abomination? Eating lobster, planting different crops in the same field, giving somebody a proud look. Not an abomination? Slavery." Quinn states.
"Jesus never said anything about gay people. That's a fact." Sam interjects.
"Well, maybe he wanted to, but he didn't want to hurt Simon's feelings." Joe tries.
Mercedes sighs. "You guys, we have to figure out where we stand. Especially, if we're gonna be asking volunteers from my church to sing backup for us. I don't want to hurt Santana's feelings, but I also don't want to make someone do something they're not comfortable with."
"So where do you stand, Joe?" Quinn asks.
Joe shrugs. "I guess I've gotta think about it."
"You know what? That's totally fair. You have to look at the hard topics and dilemmas and be honest and truthful." I explain.
Joe nods. "If you ask me... that's what being Christian is really about."
When we finish our God Squad meeting, I pull Joe to the side. "Hey. I was wondering if you'd help me sing to my fiancé Finn. It's more of a personal request than a God Squad request." I say.
He smiles. "Cool, that sounds like fun. What song did you have in mind?"
I smile. "I kinda wrote it myself."
/ / /
That afternoon for glee club, Mr. Shue brings us to the auditorium.
"Okay. Angie, you said you had a song you wanted to sing?" He asks.
I nod from the stage. "Yes. And I asked for help from one of my fellow God Squad members, Joe." I say. Joe appears onstage with his guitar.
"This is a song I wrote for my amazing fiancé, Finn Hudson. I love you baby." I say before Joe starts playing his guitar.
The song is called 'You Are the Reason.'
Joe
Angie
Both
There goes my heart beating
'Cause you are the reason
I'm losing my sleep
Please come back now
And there goes my mind racing
And you are the reason
That I'm still breathing
I'm hopeless now
I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
Oh, 'cause I need you to see
That you are the reason
There goes my hand shaking
And you are the reason
My heart keeps bleeding
I need you now
If I could turn back the clock
I'd make sure the light defeated the dark
I'd spend every hour of every day
Keeping you safe
And I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
Oh, 'cause I need you to see
That you are the reason, oh
(I don't wanna fight no more)
(I don't wanna hurt no more)
(I don't wanna cry no more)
(Come back, I need you to hold me closer now)
You are the reason, oh
(Just a little closer now)
(Come a little closer now)
(I need you to hold me tonight)
I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
'Cause I need you to see
That you are the reason
[You Are the Reason by Joe and Angie]
(All rights to this song go to Calum Scott; this is the duet version with Leona Lewis)
When we finish, I watch as everyone claps and cheers. Joe smiles at me and I smile back.
"Wow. Angie... that song was incredible." Mr. Shue states.
I smile at Finn, who's got this shocked but happy look on his face. He makes his way onto the stage and doesn't say anything. He holds me close and kisses me. I kiss back as everyone cheers.
"I love you." Finn says once we pull away.
I smile and kiss his nose. "I love you too."
/ / /
"Kurt I need to talk to you." I tell my best friend. He turns around to see me.
"What's up? You look like you're about to tell me someone died." He says.
I bite my lip. "My parents and I are having Valentine's Day dinner at my house. And... Artie kinda invited you and Finn for dinner too." I reveal.
Kurt raises an eyebrow. "Did he now?"
I sigh. "Look I know things have been a bit weird between us for the last few days, but it would mean a lot to me if you would come. You're my best friend and you're going to be my future brother-in-law. If you don't want to, that's fine. I totally understand and I won't be mad."
Kurt sighs. I look down at my feet, feeling a bit sad. I hate that things are weird between me and Kurt right now.
"Angie, if this means a lot to you, then I will be there. I'm sorry that I've been a little distant from you; I hate having this feeling that I might have disappointed you." Kurt says.
I smile up at him. "You didn't disappoint me, Kurt."

It's Valentine's Day. Artie, Mom, Dad and I are dressed nicely for dinner.
I smile when the doorbell rings. The Hudson-Hummels are here.
Showtime.
/ / /
When we sit down to eat, I'm sat in between Finn and Artie, across from Burt, Kurt and Carole. Mom and Dad sit at both ends of the table.
I eat some of my food, trying to make the most out of our first family dinner together.
"So Finn... how long have you and Angie been dating?" Dad asks.
"A year." Finn answers.
I nod. "It was last year around Valentine's Day that we started dating."
Mom clears her throat. "Finn, how're you doing in school?" She asks.
Between you and me, Mom is a lot calmer about this than Dad.
Finn smiles. "School's going good, Mrs. Abrams."
"Call me Nancy. After all, you're part of our family now." Mom tells him.
Finn nods. "Yes ma'am."
Dad clears his throat. Finn looks to my father.
"Mr. Abrams, I'm really sorry. I know it's customary to ask the bride's father for permission before proposing." Finn apologizes.
Dad sighs. "Son... I like you. I think you're a wonderful boy. But Angie is not ready for marriage."
I frown. "It's a learning experience, isn't it?"
"Honey, you and Finn have never lived together." Dad argues.
"There's a first time for everything Dad." Artie intervenes.
Thank God I have an awesome brother.
Burt clears his throat. "Speaking of which... your mom packed you an overnight bag, Finn."
Finn looks confused. "What?"
Carole smiles. "Well... you guys need to experience what it's like living together. Cohabitation with your partner is something you have to know when you're living together. I brought your toothbrush and some pajamas for you."
I look at Kurt, who's eyes have widened. Artie's eyes are wide too.
Mom nods. "We can't really call you kids anymore, so you have to figure out what it's like to live together as adults. Isn't that right, Charles?" She asks Dad.
Dad just nods wordlessly.
This should be a fun experiment.
/ / /
Burt and Carole leave after dinner to go catch a movie. Kurt leaves for Breadstix. Mom takes Artie to Breadstix, and Dad takes his own truck to God knows where.
Leaving Finn and I alone in the house.
"So... let's try going to bed together." Finn says.
I nod and we head upstairs to my room.
Finn — being the gentleman he is — folds his clothes and puts them in a chair in the corner of the room.
I decide to slip on a nightgown, but my back is turned to Finn. Yes, I lost my virginity to him, but I still feel a little self-conscious about changing in front of him.
"Babe, you okay? You got your back turned to me." Finn says from behind me.
I sigh. "I'm fine. I just... have a little bit of anxiety changing in front of you. It's nothing towards you, but I've only changed in front of you once. I'm really nervous." I say as I smooth out my nightgown.
I'm sitting at my vanity when Finn puts his hands on my shoulders, looking at our reflections in the mirror.
"That's okay. I don't expect you to automatically feel comfortable changing in front of me. But I will never judge you because you're sexy and beautiful on your own." He says and kisses my cheek.
I smile. "Thank you for being so understanding. I thought you'd be a little upset because of it."
Finn chuckles. "I'm not upset." He assures me.
We walk into my bathroom, where we try to perform that part of our nightly routine.
I stand at the sink, brushing out my hair. Finn walks in behind me.
"Hey, I hope you don't mind that I gotta go." He says.
"No, go right ahead. It won't take me very long to brush my teeth." I tell him as I put my brush down.
Surprisingly, we're doing really good together.
I think we proved our parents wrong.
/ / /
Finn and I are cuddling in my bed. Well... he's spooning me, but I'm not complaining.
"You know... I think we'll do great living together." Finn tells me.
I smile. "You think so?"
Finn kisses my cheek. "I know so. But... now we have a problem."
"Oh God. What is it?" I ask.
"It's like 7:30 at night." He states.
I look at my alarm clock. "Wow. It is." I say and look back at my fiancé.
"Can we go to Breadstix?" I question.
Finn chuckles. "I thought you'd never ask.
We change back into our dinner clothes, leave a note for my parents, and ride to Breadstix in Finn's truck.
We're gonna go celebrate Valentine's Day with our friends.

Kurt P.O.V.
"FYI, we got a private party here tonight, hon." A waitress at Breadstix tells me.
I smile. "Oh, I know, I know, I'm, I'm early. Well, according to this, I'm, I'm early. I'm supposed to be meeting my cutie here for a long overdue reunion, but I, uh, I guess he didn't make it." I say, feeling a bit sad that Blaine hasn't shown up yet.
"Wouldn't be too sure about that." The waitress says. I look up to see the same gorilla I saw a few days ago.
"I knew it! Oh, See's candies! 'Dear Kurt, Happy Valentine's Day. I think I love you.'" I read the card. I scratch my head in confusion.
"Wait. You think you love me?" I ask.
The head of the gorilla costume comes off, and it's not Blaine.
"Karofsky." I say.
"So, you tormented me, shoved me into lockers, hate-kissed me, called me horrible names and now, after one conversation in a bar, you want us to be together?" I ask.
"When I was at McKinley, I hated who I was. I've wanted to call you since that night at Scandals, and, look, it's taken me a while, but for the first time in my life, I'm trying to be honest about what I feel." Karofsky says.
"And I'm flattered, I... I-I really am, but David, you just think that you love me. You don't really love me." I tell him.
"I haven't come out at school yet, but maybe I will next year." Karofsky states.
I sigh. "David, look, I am so proud of you for... for coming so far. And I want you to be happy and... and you will be happy, but I'm with Blaine. A-And... I like you. But just as friends." I tell him.
Karofsky sighs. "I should go."
"Wait. No, you don't have to go." I tell him.
"I hope you like the candies. The butterscotch ones are my favorite." He says sadly.
"Mine, too." I tell him.
I watch him walk off heartbrokenly.

Finn and I are at Breadstix, attending Sugar's party. I'm getting ready to go onstage with the God Squad.
Sugar's testing out the microphone. "Testing. Testing. Testing. Testing. What up, McKinley?! Welcome to the Sugar Shack!" She says.
We all cheer.
"Okay. Everyone look under your chairs, except you, Artie. Yours is in the potted plant right behind you. Attached to a Hickory Hills Cheese Heart are gift certificates worth $200 each for Bed, Bath and Beyond, Panda Express, and Lima Mall Swatch Watch kiosk!" Sugar says.
Wow. She's being really generous to everyone.
Sugar smiles. "I would like to thank my daddy for making tonight possible. He is not in the Mafia. And next up, straight from heaven above, give it up for the God Squad!" She introduces.
We all get up onstage.
"Hi. My name's Joe. Santana Lopez asked me if the God Squad would sing a love song for Brittany S. Pierce. And after thinking and praying about it, I knew there was only one right answer. Absolutely. Love is love, man. So, here's for Brittany from Santana." Joe says.
All of us in the God Squad sing 'Cherish' to Brittany.
[Cherish by The God Squad]
We get applause for our performance.
Sugar smiles as she comes up onstage when we finish. "Okay, everyone, it's time for my extra-special guest, back from the dead, and cute and compact as ever!" She says.
A spotlight shines on Blaine, and all of us in New Directions go crazy. Kurt finds himself speechless and smiling.
"Happy Valentine's Day, everybody! This song is dedicated to all the lovers in the room." Blaine says.
Mercedes, Rachel, Sam, Brittany and I are onstage, ready to sing 'Love Shack' with Blaine.
[Love Shack by Mercedes, Brittany, Blaine, Rachel, Angie, Sam and Kurt]
Kurt joins in after Blaine encourages him to.
We're just having a blast together as one big, happy family.
This turned out to be the best Valentine's Day ever!
/ / /
When Artie and I get home from the Sugar Shack, I go into the kitchen to talk to Mom and Dad.
"So... how was your first attempt at living together?" Dad asks.
I smile. "It went really well. The experiment made us do some thinking and... we're moving the wedding to May. We're going to have a spring wedding; sometime after Nationals."
Dad doesn't look happy. "No."
I look at him in confusion. "I'm sorry?"
"I said no. You're not marrying him." Dad says.
"What happened to you liking Finn? You don't get to tell me who I can and can't marry." I bite back.
"You will watch your tone, Angela. As long as you live under my roof, you'll follow my rules." Dad instructs. "You will not marry that Hudson boy, and that's final."
I feel tears pooling in my eyes. "No."
Dad raises an eyebrow at me. "Excuse me?"
"I said no. I thought you were supportive of my choice, but I was obviously wrong. I'm going to marry Finn, and you can't stop me." I firmly state.
Mom just looks at us, and I can tell she hates seeing us fight.
Dad gets up in my face, and I can smell the alcohol on his breath.
"I want you to leave. Pack all your things and get the hell out of my house."
I pale. "What?"
Dad glares at me. "No daughter of mine is going to speak to me like that. If you're not going to respect my rules, then get the hell out."
I let my tears fall. "Dad, please... I'm still your little girl who loves you."
Dad looks at me. "You made your choice the minute you decided to defy my decision. You're a disappointment."
I cry as I run upstairs and pack everything up within an hour.
I put all my stuff into the trunk of my car and I leave the house, heartbroken.
The worst part is that I didn't even get to say goodbye to Artie.

Finn P.O.V.
I just got settled into bed for the night when there's a loud knocking at the door.
I throw on a pair of gym shorts and walk downstairs to see who could possibly be here in the middle of the night.
My thought is answered when I see my fiancée on the other side of the door in tears. I instantly frown.
"Baby what's wrong?" I ask.
Angie hugs herself, probably because she's cold.
"It's my dad. He told me I couldn't marry you, and when I said I was going to anyways... he kicked me out."
I instantly pull her into the house and hug her.
"It's okay. It's gonna be okay. I got you." I tell her as she cries into my shoulder.
I can't believe Angie's father would do that to her.
