I stood there, breathing heavily and watching Eren walk out of the dining hall. I picked my tray up off the floor and bit into the steamed potato. I had no friends here. I saw that Jean was still on the floor, so I rolled my eyes and held out a hand to him. "Get up." I ordered him. Jean grabbed my hand and hauled himself up. "Thanks, beautiful." He said, walking away and swaying sideways because of his intoxication. I internally laughed, seeing him trip over his own feet. A smirk on my face, I sat down beside a girl named Sasha who was gnawing into her potato like she hadn't eaten for years. "Hi." I said to her. She looked at me. "Hi!" She said, her mouth full of potato. "So... what's your name?" She asked. "[y/n]" I told Sasha.

Eren's p.o.v:

In all honesty, I was surprised [y/n] didn't follow me after I left her. I've seen the look in her eyes when someone mentions me or when I'm near her or when I talk to her. It's this kind of... sparkle. I sighed, returning to my cabin.

{Time skip}

Your p.o.v:

Me and Sasha had talked for a while, her consuming around 13 potatoes in that 25 minutes. I yawned. "Hey, uh, Sasha? I think I'm going to head to sleep." I said, getting up. Sasha nodded, giving me a large smile. "Alright. See ya tomorrow!" She said. I waved and walked outside. I heard the hushed voices of Eren and Jean. "Hey, Jaeger! Let's sneak off campus! I can hook you up with a girl, you can get some and then we'll come back!" Jean whispered.
